I had some work done at this shop through my insurance. There was still some supplemental work that had to be done. It was approved by my insurance. Every time I call to try and get the work done they give me the run around, saying we’ll call you back “when the parts arrive”. Go somewhere else more professional and reliable
I had my vehicle repaired at Rich Auto Experts following an insurance-covered deer collision. My car was in their shop from November 4 through November 26 2025, and I was told the repairs were complete and the vehicle was safe to drive.
Less than 24 hours after picking it up, on Thanksgiving Day, the vehicle suffered a coolant system failure while I was driving on the New York State Thruway. The engine overheated, the car began smoking, and I was forced to pull over on the highway. I was traveling with my sister and two six-month-old infants, and we were stranded for hours in freezing conditions waiting for a tow and alternate transportation. The vehicle’s heating system also failed during this incident so the car became cold very quickly as we waiting for the uber.
When I returned the car to the shop, I was initially told the failure was a “coincidence of timing” and unrelated to the accident, despite the damaged component being located in the area of significant front-end impact. The shop ultimately repaired the issue and reimbursed my towing and transportation costs, though they continued to deny responsibility.
After picking up the vehicle again on December 2, I discovered another unresolved issue: the windshield washer system does not work despite the reservoir being full. This system worked properly before the accident. I reported this issue on December 16. Since then, I have experienced repeated delays, inconsistent explanations, and a lack of follow-up. More than a month later, the issue remains unresolved, which is especially concerning during winter driving conditions. It’s becoming extremely unsafe to drive my vehicle due to me being unable to clean my windshield.
Given that my insurance claim had already been paid out, it’s frustrating to feel as though this remaining issue is being deprioritized rather than promptly addressed.
While the shop eventually addressed part of the problem with the first issue. My overall experience involved unsafe conditions, incomplete repairs, and prolonged delays. Based on my experience, I would advise others to proceed with caution and thoroughly inspect their vehicle before and after repairs.
I have included photos and documentation supporting my experience, including proof of communication and lack of response, images of the front-end impact damage where responsibility continued to be denied, and a photo showing a full windshield washer reservoir (kind of hard to see) alongside the condition of my windshield during winter driving. These materials demonstrate that the issue is ongoing and has created unsafe driving conditions.
Today is Feb 1st. The issue is still unresolved.
I hit 2 different deer 2 months apart. These guys fixed the damage expertly both times. They're quick, no hassle, no nonsense, and do awesome work. There are a dozen other body shops between me and this place and I'll pass them every time to go here. If you need any repairs, don't hesitate.
Wow!!! Hands down the highest quality work in the area. Very affordable and quick turnaround. Would have not even known that there had been a Boo Boo, lol.

Overall decent, the car came out good, but they used some Used parts, those parts were immediately visibly messed up, and failed shortly after due to being damaged, and there was no warranty to fix them.
Rich auto is an amazing shop to work with. I had recently had my car hit and I choose rich auto to do my repairs. When I got my car back let me tell you 100/10 couldn’t have asked for anything better. My car came back brand new like nothing ever happened and all in a timely manner as well.
If you ever get into an accident do not hesitate to come here. Not only is this an auto body repair shop but a one stop shop aswell! If you’re looking the best value make sure to stop here first. There are many body shops in the area but they will not treat your vehicle as their own, rich is not only a business owner but a car enthusiast as well so his attention to detail is spot on as he understands how each make and model should properly look.

Tried getting through to this auto shop to make sure I didnt need to schedule an appointment for my Carco inspection. Left a message and no call back 2 weeks ago. Today I called a few times and the moment I asked if they do Carco inspection I was hung up on and when I tried to call back only got their voicemail again
