We made an appointment to have our clunker hauled away at 4:30 in the afternoon on a Friday. The driver was supposed to call when he was on his way. After waiting until 5 without hearing from the driver I decided to call and see what the hold up was. The woman who answered the phone claimed they were having trouble with their truck... I don't know why they couldn't be bothered to call and let me know they weren't going to be able to take the car. If they would have done the proper thing and called, I could have made other arrangements... Instead I rearranged my plans, borrowed a truck and towbar and junked it myself... 😠
