I have been going to this place for several months and for circumstantial reasons I have stopped going, but it should be noted that the staff is very attentive and friendly, you could say that I even miss going there.
prices are great! better than what i was getting at the other yard i usually go to: the guy who helped me at the scale helped me separate my items to make the most money possible. would recommend this place to anyone.

When I vam to yhe place the Guy instructed me how to start the possess... and ge give me all the information before I move the metal from my car
( i was informed that everything I have is a steel and they are paying only anoyt $0.10-$0.11 per pound.. ) he showed ne the trick with the magnet 🧲. I AGREE ...
( ON THE app they Don't have any price less than $0.30 ) even tho he showed me the magnetic, I still have doubts, I know fir sure I had different types of metal.. but no biggy. Im already there.
Now when we put my metal on the Scale the Screen showed 136, the guy told me I have 86LB
The lady paid me base of 51LB
.....
So first I think I was underpaid per hour then, underpaid by weight...
So for 51LBs ×$0.11 = I got $6 🤦♂️🤯😵💫
Have to mention, that no one was rutw... everyone was polite and Professional but this leaves me bad tast .... I hope I'm wrong... but for now this is the feelings I have

First time coming here, I looked on the New York Stock exchange that copper was 3.87 and S & A scrap gave me 3.40! ! ! Most other places rip their customers off but S&A is a go-to place for sure!

I’m an electrician and had a large amount of copper to scrap I had been saving for months. I called local scrap metal companies and S& A had the best price. The man that took care of me was named “Matt” he is a professional, and was transparent while weighing and separating. Sometimes dealing with scrap metal places some of them feel shady. This was not my experience with S&A. 10/10 would recommend to my fellow electricians.

Went here last week with my uncle after going to a few different yards, prices were better for everything and it didn't take very long. Appreciate the staff too as they were on top of their game, would definitely recommend to anyone after the best price.
