I came in with brass and not only was Greenpoint Scrap Metal paying .25 cents higher but I weighed it and they paid me for more weight. They are always friendly and honest.
The man uses the old scale I was in a rush and decide to sell my scrap here and I feel like I had 80 pounds he paid for like 40 pounds no receipt STAY AWAY
Got my boy for $300 cause I changed my copper in NJ they gave me $2.03 a lb I exchanged today. I took my boy who had 3x my weight and only gave him $200 which should have been at least $500 I will never do business with them again and will advice others not to… nothing to understand it was the same day … this place is a ripoff
They will rip you off I brought 200lbs of steel and the white guy the boss gave me 5 bucks and when I questioned him about the rate he said he can’t do much because the market is down so I asked what’s the rate again he said 3 cents a lbs when I looked it up it was 30 cents a lb. this business should. It exist. This is the second time they ripped me off. Also I got no receipt and they did not check my id
They guys were honorable and fair with me.
I have my own scales and their scales are very accurate. They communicate very well with customers. Best non-ferous scrap guy I have used in Brooklyn mkt area
