usually the dmv is frustrating, but compared to this parts store, I would take a day at the dmv any time. they do lack customer service skills like other reviews say. I came a couple times one time they were empty and one time there was a line. They just stare at the computer like they’re solving some great mystery. I felt like I was invisible for 10 minutes. They didn’t assure me that they’ll be with me in a few minutes. If they told me to my face like hey we’re busy right now we’ll help you just take a seat, then I would really understand and be happy. But they don’t even acknowledge you until 10 minutes later. When they speak to you, you can’t hear anything because there’s plastic glass in between and the mic is so quiet. employees with no character, they act like they’re hardened brooklyn natives, acting all rude and thick accents the lot of them. I’d rather pay 200 for a new part than deal with these guys.. shady receipt with no pictures of the part or condition. How am I supposed to trust this business?
I would’ve give -1 if I could . I called three times before coming, They told me to come that they have the part. When I got there they told me to come back the next day at 4 pm while I came all the way from Manhattan it took me an hour and 15 min (1 hour and 15 min) just to tell me to leave. His name is jery

I drove from Bayridge to there. After I spend 1 hour and 40 minutes driving I waited over there after then they tell me no more.
Told me to come have the part. Went to the store made me wait a hour just to tell me they don’t have it. Very disappointed representative on the phone told me come right away to waste my time
Disappointed. Made me pay for part before seeing it. Took k e hour to get a mirror. When I got the mirror it was scratched a lot. Did not want it and was told I had to pay 25% restocking fee, without leaving the store.
Customer service is the worst I’ve seen anywhere else. You ask for parts and you’re treated as if you’re nobody, like they’re doing you a favor. Well, I didn’t buy anything and dusted off my shoes upon waiting out.
Do Not work with mike, he’s the worst person to work with and as rude as they come. Just trying to save you a headache, I recommend working with someone else there or going to another place
No one had my part needed for my 8 series. One other junkyard had it listed but when I called they said there data base isn’t up to date and they don’t have it. Only 1 other place left to call and that was J and V!
They not only had the part they also gave me such a great price. Besides the great price they had the part to me within a week from New York to Cali!

Still waiting for what I ordered First they told me One Day it didn't arrive then I called person on The phone very rude not customer service skills still waiting let's see this week and I gave them a deposit
It was ok but I think they need a extra guy at the window to speed up the service. Also they need to stay open maybe a extra hour long..So people could get the parts they need..
I bought several parts from J&V. I dealth with MIKE RAINONE, this guy is incredible. He went over and above my expectations, doing things he didn't have to. He made bringing these parts across the border very easy for me and without him I couldn't have done it. I will always search these guys for parts first before going anywhere else. On top of that, the parts are extremely reasonably priced and they had extremely rare parts for my Bentley! Thanks Mike! Will see you again.
Called to ask for a part for my dad's car and before I could finish giving the part name, man on the phone said "no" and hung up. Called back to make sure he knew that his attitude was bad for business and wanted to leave this review to let others know that customer service here is lacking terribly
Poor customer service, on two occasions I was ignored, it appears that they don’t need the business of the customers, so why are you here if your not a welcoming business. I walked out twice, learned my lesson.
When I ordered the part the guy told me that I won’t get a cash refund but I will get the store credit and when I came back to return it he said they don’t take it back and it’s sold a is. One of the worst service ever! Guys don’t buy from here.
-10 they sold me a motor with a hole thru the valve cover and gave me no ignition coilsand wouldnt even negotiate the costs.... Never would i deal with them again

Bought a faulty transmission from the start & had to fight tooth & nails to finally get the guy to agree to compensate. Then I had to shoulder the expense of towing my vehicle 35 miles away to their mechanic & wait an additional month for them to replace my transmission. Unprofessional & shady!
First class service, no really I would just go to my local yard but it's been a gamble with them, so I found the best price on a newer part for a Honda 2017 and it was shipped supper professional and fast. 5 Stars coming from outside Boston....Thanks
Excellent to deal with. I needed a part for my 2002 Jeep. They had it, sent me an email to confirm and pay with paypal. I needed help and they were fast and polite. The part I need is in the mail the next day. I would use them again, Mike helped me. He said they have locations in Whippany and Franklin NJ. Great!
