A very nice store with fresh products and great prices. Stopped for one of their fresh made salads and ended up purchasing the salad and the best looking and tasting carrots. The price of the carrots was outstanding so I bought enough to process/can.
I just left with my daughter and wanted to make a note about our experience. We always love going in; however, today was even nicer. Not busy, probably due to the weather, but I enjoyed it being a little slower. I didn't realize that they sold soups and I tried the Beef Barley. It was great. I wanted to get a bowl, but what was left I wasn't so sure about getting because it was the bottom and not much.
I'm not sure who the gentleman was that helped me, but he either saw me looking or heard me tell my daughter I wish there was more. He came to ask me if I would like it, he would scoop it out and give it to me for free. That was very generous and kind. The soup is fantastic. I will definitely purchase this again in the future.
We purchased a few other things and for what we purchased, the prices were really good.

Martin's Country Store in Philadelphia, NY is a feel good gem that brings you back to the good old days. The moment you open the door you are greeted with the aromas of the fresh deli and what a large selection to choose from! Their vast dry food goods will make your baking healthy and wholesome. Grab a brown paper lunch bag and fill it with your childhood favorite candies. Be sure to have a custom freshly made Sub.. they are so filling and delicious ?! Their prices are very reasonable. Great meat deals, too ❣️ I picked up 40# of fresh skinless/boneless chicken breast at $1.75/lb and they are huge! If you are short on time just order the items you want online and they will have it ready for you. Their list of deli meats and cheeses are on their site and the prices. Having a party ? then keep them in mind for holiday platters. Their staff are very friendly and helpful. Be sure to stop by and discover this north country gem.
I stopped by the store today and ordered lunch, I was very impressed with the service and the food was delicious. I was passing through, but this will be a frequent stop whenever I’m in the area. I highly recommend this place.

I love this store. But the young man that cashed us out put everything in one bag . We asked for another but it was like he was trying to rush us out the door.
Not worth the money. The chicken i bought tasted like it was soaked in salt and the munster cheese is salty. The ar expensive and when I looked it up online it said they accept EBT.... they don't. They said its there other location. I'm not impressed. They were better when it was the north country store. Honestly not worth the money. Expensive food is not good and I won't go back again. They are not worth the money. I don't recommend. Sorry to say but I wish it was still owned by the other owners. They went down hill after they took over.
We shopped here years ago and recently relocated to the area (military) and we are happy to see it's open and running!
We stopped in and got a sandwich (affordable and delicious) and a soda.
There is plenty of parking and they sell all sorts of interesting things including vintage snacks.
I'll be going back frequently.
My 1st time since the new ownership. I am glad to see the bulk candy favorites & a large selection of breads! Next time I will try something from the deli.
This is a gem, and if you have the opportunity to go-- do it. I've seen all of the other locations, and they're all great. This one is more compact than the Brushton location, but all of the wondrous goodies are there, like the expansive spice wall and the Pretzels! (Try the maple bourbon flavor, it's amazing.). Awesome store and I plan to stop in at least once a month.
NORA’s the best sandwich maker in the north country hands down! Her smile warms the room and positive attitude lights up the day no matter how cloudy it may be outside, she’s simply AWESOME!
I like some of the new products but the energy drink section is almost non existent. It was a good local spot to grab an energy drink like new flavors of ghost, monster, redbull and Celsius.
Such a cool store with lots to try! Prices here are super reasonable and the subs were amazing. Cookies are fantastic as well! We can't wait to come back and try more!
The staff is always super great, but I can’t say I enjoy any of the new changes being made. I was excited to see a couple new products on the shelf, but it seems like they downsized quite a bit in certain areas. This was the only place that I could get my favorite sweet Maui onion chips, and those are no more as well as their cheese cube and meat cups from their deli cooler are gone, which were my go to for my road trips when I come through once a week. Super disappointed
We have been to the Martin’s stores in Moira, Brushton, and the new store in Philadelphia. We love them all. Great service, Great selections, very clean, and very friendly staff at all of them. The closest one to us is about 55 miles away and we will drive there to shop!
Great little store with many local made food items of all kinds. Very friendly staff, great deli, and lots of hard to find spices and candy items. One of the best sub shops in the area. Love this store!
A great place for a tasty generously portioned breakfast sandwich or sub. Great cheese curd and coffee. Numerous choices of spices, snacks, and candy. Nice gift ideas. Bathroom is not always very clean, probably due to how busy the store is?
Great selection of products at a reasonable price. Staff is always very friendly and helpful ! I have ordered sandwiches, subs, and wraps to go, you cannot go wrong with whatever you order. The orders are always very good. They have a nice selection of deli products. I always buy from the deli, their prices are the lowest that I have found for quality products. Whenever I come to Fort Drum, North Country Store has become a destination lunch spot for me. Super small grocery store with a cold cut meat counter and fresh made sandwiches Subs and wraps, piled high with ingredients. The grocery store side has fresh spices, fruits and vegetables and a refrigerated section with plenty of cold soft drinks, sports drinks, and juices. Fantastic prices. I'm here for a month this trip, with its close proximity to Drum, I'll have the opportunity to visit many more times. Three picnic tables outside.
It's like a deli convenience store. Excellent choices on spices & baking ingredients and utentils. Deli has meat and cheese you can purchase by weight. Small selections of cold drinks like dairy and sodas. Best of all is the made to order sub & sandwich shop. Get the Italian herb bread for your sub, it's so good. For first timer, there is an order for making your sub, it's posted in front. They thought it out for you. I got the club on a whole Italian herb bread (half at lunch, other for dinner) with chipolte mayo, honey mustard, spinach, lettuce, black olives, banana peppers and the Italian oil & vinegar (don't skip it). My sub was way better than Jersey Mike's or Subway. Outside of the store was an Amish man selling desserts, eggs, maple and honey. We bought a few hand pies and maple syrup. Hand pies pasteries were dry but it was $2/ea. Would go back. Highly recommend going for sub sandwiches.
Great place for those looking for bulk gluten free baking or cooking ingredients! Like almond or spelt flour!! The food is fresh from the deli. There is also an amazing assortment of bulk items. Plus the yummy candy for the kiddos!
