I loved this hotel. It was spotless spacious surrounded by beautiful views, and only eight minutes away from Hunter Mountain resort. Also is in the center of Tannersville with restaurants and shops all around. The staff was extremely friendly. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place seems upscale but casual. The location was was in a good location near the center of town but still close to hiking and skiing areas.

Went here this past weekend to celebrate my partners birthday. When I tell you this was such an amazing stay, believe me. The food was great, the rooms were clean, the staff was amazing, so sweet, kind, & went the extra mile to make sure we got everything we needed & more. The restaurants around were so good too. Literally this whole town gets 5 stars. Such a great getaway from the city. The mountains were so beautiful & there was such a peace being there. A very special shout out to Jen & Chloe ✨️ ugh such angels !! They helped me surprise my partner. I had brought a cake to celebrate him. Chloe put the cake in the fridge & later on Jen helped me up the stairs with plates. Thank you so much for everything. Another thing I'd like to add is everything is so close. We came here on a bus from the city & as soon as you get off the bus, the hotel is about a 9 minute walk away & not only that, the restaurants & hiking trails are all walkable. We will definitely be back & very much looking forward to it again ?

Truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had! The space is gorgeous and everyone there was so incredibly lovely. You can walk into town or just stay in and spend the afternoon playing games by their fireplace. Less than a 10 minute drive up to Hunter mountain, but make sure you have their amazing breakfast first (going to be dreaming about the French toast for a bit). We had a room on the first floor and we were worried it was going to be noisy but we didn’t hear a thing! We’re already planning to come back in the fall!!

I've been coming to the Hunter/Tannersville area for years, and this was my first time staying here but definitely won't be last! The breakfast offerings each morning are the perfect way to start the day before heading off to Hunter Mountain which is just a few minute drive away. All the staff I interacted with were super welcoming, and answered any questions I had. The room was comfortable, and the fireplace after a long cold day on the slopes was so welcome. Kudos to the entire team for providing an awesome experience even in the height of the snowstorm last weekend!

We spent 3 nights in this lovely inn for our anniversary. I could not say enough good things about our experience at Hotel Mountain Brook. The attention to detail, the warmth of the everyone that works there (shoutout Chloe, Katie, and Shawn!), the daily breakfast spread and great coffee… we are already thinking of coming back in the summer. One of our favorite (and unexpected) aspects of the inn is the extensive dvd collection. It was so fun to come back from dinner and drinks and choose a movie to watch in our room to end the night. Thank you for a great and memorable weekend!!

12/31/25. We had a lovely stay at Hotel Mountain Brook. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the fireplace made the room warm and cozy. The common areas also made you feel right at home. The entire lodge was impeccably clean, and the staff were top notch, along with the delicious breakfast. The location was close to the Main Street that was lined with shops and restaurants, and not too far from Woodstock if you wanted to do some nearby site seeing. HMB provided us with exactly what we needed: a peaceful and quiet New Years Eve away from our daily hectic lives. Thank you HMB!

Spent 5 days here for the holidays and it was great. The staff is attentive but not intrusive, the hotel is beautiful but easy to get to, and the town is walkable. Breakfast options were plentiful and good. The game room and dvd library were great- but we didnt use them much. We really had a great time and are looking forward to coming back

Our family stayed here for a week during the holidays and found everything to be wonderful. We stayed in the Many Trails suite, so we would have access to a kitchen. The rooms were cozy and well-stocked; the blankets were thin but very warm, the thermostat responded well, towels were large & fluffy, and the kitchen had a good stock of plates, cookware, cups, soap, etc. We've learned to bring containers for leftovers, as well as basics like salt & pepper, oil, etc. for cooking so overall we didn't need anything! The lodge/lobby has a fun activity room with books, a video game table, classic board games, family board games, dvd's to borrow and tea/coffee, mini cans of soda and some snacks. The staff are very helpful and personable; they served breakfast between 8am-10am daily, with a hot special and gluten free options, bagels, cereal, muffins, granola, fresh fruit and yogurt also available. They had hot chocolate in the evenings and made a fire for us outside one evening to roast marshmallows. They provided shoe spikes for a winter hike, as well as trail maps and parking directions. Truly, they met our every need or wish and we couldn't thank Chloe, Emily and Sean more or recommend this inn more strongly. We hope to visit again in another season! The location rating of 4 stars is about Tannersville, not the inn. The main st is about four blocks long, so we explored that one afternoon. We went snow tubing & ice skating, as well as hiking and thrifting, and saw Olana house. Probably in warmer weather there would be more activities, but otherwise you'd need to drive 30-90 minutes to find more to do. There are some cute restaurants in town too, just down the road from the inn.

Such an amazing stay! We stayed here for our anniversary and the staff took great care. Thank you Jen, Emily and Chloe! The room was cute with a whirlpool tub. The choose your adventure room was my favorite part of the stay. We enjoyed the games, dvd and the complimentary hot cocoa and snacks! The breakfast was unexpectedly good and filling. The whole experience was the too good for the value! Would love to visit again!

Mountain Brook Hotel is beautiful and truly one of the best places to stay in the Catskills. The breakfast is amazing, and the service from Jen and her team is exceptional. Such a lovely team and a very warm welcome from start to finish. It was a perfect stay, thank you, and I will definitely be back.

Took my then girlfriend, now fiancée, on a surprise trip here to propose and coordinated the details with Jenn and Emily. They stayed in contact with me in the hours prior to my propose plans and set up champagne in our cabin. Overall, we had an amazing experience. Everyone was very attentive and excited for us. The complimentary breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. Can’t wait to come back and highly recommend!

Our stay at Mountain Brook was fantastic from start to finish. The breakfast was outstanding, truly unlike anything I’ve ever had before at any other bed and breakfast. Every morning felt very special and they pay attention to so much detail. The quality and care really stood out to us. The staff always made us feel welcomed. Special thanks to Chloe, Emily, Jen & Shawn. They made us feel taken care of at all times. You can tell they genuinely care about all the guests. We stayed in room 8, It was extremely clean and cozy. Very spacious and comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fireplace after every adventure. It added such a peaceful vibe, along with the bar and complimentary snacks was super thoughtful. My favorite was the coffee bar 24/7, and the lemon ginger tea that they offered was my absolute favorite. Along with the complimentary books and movies were also a great addition. We are only 2 hours away from home but this was a real mountain getaway, the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. Mountain brook is absolutely worth it. Already planning the next trip!

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Raven which was perfect for privacy outside the main hotel area with added jacuzzi, fireplace and cozy atmosphere. Cons: A little pricey but we stayed during a Holiday weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk gave us a full tour of the property and pointed out all the amenities included with our stay, a game room, movies to watch, snacks and food areas, smores supplies, and more. The people who work here are very friendly. Our room was very comfortable, and everything was exceptionally clean. I even saw the staff mopping the common areas multiple times each day. The highlight of our visit was the homemade breakfast served daily. It was different every morning and absolutely delicious. We would definitely stay here again!

Just spent the weekend at Hotel Mountain Brook and It was amazing. The staff is so friendly and helpful. There is an entire wall of DVDs and board games that are awesome. The complimentary breakfast spread is incredible and delicious. Complimentary smores!! The rooms were very clean and modern. Would 100% come here again and recommended It to anyone!!

Hotel Mountain Brook was possibly the nicest place I've ever stayed and I hesitate to tell others that because I want to be able to go back someday. I was only there for one night but the service, room, and breakfast were well beyond my expectations. This is the type of place where you truly feel like a valued customer.

My wife and I booked in on our friends recommendation, and were so happy we did! We loved everything about Mountain Brook, from the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, to the serene surroundings, this captured the exact kind of getaway we had been longing for; something cozy and comfortable. The breakfast blew us away each morning, and being able to partake in the many freely accessible amenities that this lodge offered, it felt less like a hotel and more like a home you were being welcomed into. We Weill absolutely be coming here again!

This place is amazing and I don't know why I haven't heard about it more! It's the perfect mix of a hotel and bed & breakfast. So cute, cozy, aesthetically pleasing, and the staff have thought of every single detail including s'mores kits, itineraries for rainy days, and so many more complimentary things. I couldn't believe how good the breakfast was for it being included in the stay! It's also a great location - 2 hours away from NYC and walking distance from the main street of Tannersville + hiking trails. Thank you so much for such an incredible stay!

We had a wonderful fall weekend at hotel mountain brook ! The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the breakfast each day was absolutely delicious. We were able to bring our lab CJ with us and she loved it too. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to people looking for a cozy weekend in the mountains.

Our room was beautifully updated, blending modern comfort with rustic charm, and we felt right at home. We especially enjoyed relaxing with cocktails by the outdoor fire in the evening—it was the perfect way to unwind. The cozy game room was also a fun addition that made our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return!

We loved our stay at Mountain Brook and look forward to returning. We stayed in the Rose cabin which was super comfortable and had it's own private deck. The smell of the fire pit filled the night air and the delicious smells of breakfast filled the morning air. Highly recommend.

My wife and I recently stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. The etablisment feels more like a private bed and breakfast or a quaint lodge. My only knocks on our room is that it felt a bit small and crowded. The bed was comfy, but the mattress is foam and tends to be overly warm. The pillows were generous, but a bit too big and overstuffed. Otherwise, the room was clean and met our needs. The serrvice staff was excellent. Every staff person was friendly and courtious. The Innkeeper, Jen, went out of her way to accomidate us. The hotel provides guests complmentary snacks and beverages. The breakfast was unique and excellent. There are many enjoyable and comfy public spaces. The location is convienent to the downtown area (walkable to restaurants) and in close proximity to multiple walking trails. Highly recommended. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is absolutely delightful. Clean, cozy and very welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive. It is all in the detail, snacks, coffee, blankets for outdoor, s’more packets, umbrellas, dvds are just a few of all they supply to guests. The breakfast was so nicely put together, beautifully displayed and a hot breakfast cooked on the spot if desired was always delicious! I highly recommend this hotel!

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel. The hotel far exceeded my expectations. The room was very nice, the fireplace was a great touch.The staff was exceptional, they couldn’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast was very good. The nightly fires set up outside were a great way to end the day.

My family and I booked a weekend getaway at Hotel Mountain Brook, and it did not disappoint! We were consistently greeted with such welcoming and friendly staff. There were lots of complimentary snacks, drinks, and activities available at all times. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were comfortable and the overall space was rustic chic. Big shout out to Jen, who was the absolute MVP of the whole weekend. She is clearly passionate about this place and makes it such a positive experience for everyone. She even led an amazing morning yoga session for my family and I. Highly recommend and looking forward to coming back!
