I rally like the sandwiches here but every time I get them the portion size feels like it keeps getting smaller I also like there dygert chocolate milk and Dygert raspberry lemonade that they sell there those are my go to drinks I get the green lake bridge with a thing of dygert chocolate milk and a glass of dygert raspberry lemonade it also has a good selection of chips me and my dad either get the hals buffalo chips or the spicy dill pickle chips this place is great and that’s why I come here every Saturday

Awesome Adirondack country store with high peak charm. A great place to stop for a quick bite to eat or to grab that much needed bag of charcoal. The store also features great kickbacks and gifts.

Great little spot with wide selection of food, lake supplies, souvenirs, and beverages. They also have a sandwich shop with very good sandwiches. Service is always friendly!

If you are nearby, GO. Friendly staff, well priced stuff. Little bit of everything, small grocery, lake needs, marine needs, souvenirs, canada lake merchandise and clothing. We were here less than a week and found ourselves there 4 times,,,,, looking for reasons to go back. Support the local business!

Awesome store, super friendly staff. Would you like a sandwich? Some eggs? Would you like to rent a boat?

Such a great local store in the area. Great place to stop in and grab a bite to eat after a hike or spending time on the water. They make a great sandwich.

Just a special place to stop with kids along a very rural section of route 10 between Pine Lake and Caroga Lake. 2nd generation, family owned Store. Fresh Produce, Gas. Lotto. Smokes. milk eggs bread and all the luxaries you might need camping, boating, riding or skiing. Marina. Gift Shoppe. I remember a Summer Post Office and and Internet Cafe but I am not sure what is in that side room anymore. I've been going up to West Stoner 40+ years and have very nostalgic memories of stopping here to get the essentials on the way up. I have strong memories of a giant Dill Pickle Barrel up front. I would beg my parents for whistle pops, Rock candy, charm pops, snaps and part poppers. Great memories. When my grandpa Carter died, (He bought a bunch of boats from Bill in the 70s and 80s) one of my cousins mentioned the idea of the grand kids wearing the trademark shirt. I have pictures going back 40 years wearing that shirt and will share them here as I find them. Unfortunately it was not possible but that is the type of feeling Canada Lake holds to the residents of Caroga and the summer folk. Check this place out.

Have been coming here since I was a kid (which has been 25+ years). Always stop here if we are in the area or going to our place up in Old Forge. Friendly staff, best sandwiches around, and plenty of stuff to look at in the gift shop!

We spent a week here in a small cabin behind the store and it was lovely. We spent time on the water and just sitting, enjoying the place. Caroga Lake Music Festival just down the road, and great dining at Pleasant Lake Inn. Dorothy and all the staff have been so welcoming and friendly, we can't wait to return!

In A Nutshell: -This lake store has mostly all that you need from food, snacks, drinks, gas & rentals. -The one thing it doesn't provide are fishing licenses. -To get one just go down the road to the Town of Caroga Lake Hall & see the Town Clerk who can assist you. Overall, it's nice to have this store in the middle of this part of upstate New York.

This place is great! Lots of snack, a cute cafe with goodies and coffee, a little gift shop area in the back, and you can even rent their boats for exploring Canada Lake! Service is always friendly and welcoming + they have all the necessities (and more!) for your next camping trip. Definitely give this place a visit!

Love this store! A great country/general store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They serve ice cream, great subs and has a very good coffee shop with homemade bakery. Even has a cute gift shop! Prices are good. Worth a stop.

Absolutely perfect place to stop. It was like you stepped back in time. Clean and staff were all super friendly. Had sandwiches and looked at the lake.

This was a simple and effective event here, but we were just so relieved that they had a dog leash in stock, I cannot explain. I mean what are the chances this place would have something obscure, we were ready to do our best knot with whatever rope we could find, but Canada Lake Store came through in the clutch. Thanks!

A great place to get anything you could ever need, as a last stop shop on your way into the Adirondacks! Very clean, extremely organized, and some amazingly friendly staff/owners.

Fairly large selection of grocery items, general foods. camping and boating supplies, and souveniers. Friendly service. A small deli section and freezer with some local, quality meats and sausages. Unfortunately, the coffee shop is closed off-season, but they have carafes of regular brewed coffee and very good cookies available. We were able to get some good bread, local produce at the outside vegetable stand, and even oatmilk for my boyfriend who doesn't drink dairy. This helped us by saving us a longer trip into the larger town 30 minutes away for our expected grocery run by filling out the supplies we had brought with us. Oh, and the Australian licorice was a treat! I hate licorice, but my boyfriend loves it. I tried this. However, and now I am a fan! Yum! We even got some pepitas and nuts to add to our trail mix at very reasonable prices. Next time we will try the sharp cheddar they purchase in large bulk wheels that the locals come in and buy by the pound. We were told it's worth the visit alone.

We had a really nice day on the water at Canada Lake. The rental store was very nice and everyone there was very very helpful. It was easy to rent a boat. We rented the 16ft with a 25hp outboard. Very simple nothing fancy. Got the job done. Great day!

Cute little store in the mountain... Didn't have the best beer selection but with the nearest store being like 25 mins away it'll hold ya over, they have little trinkets and toys its got a little of everything honestly... All in all a pretty cool experiance

Great little (and I mean LITTLE) general store that has everything you need for mountain lake life, even a deli counter for great sandwiches. They have free WiFi too, which is great because cellular signal is spotty, at best, in the area. I’ve been going there for 43 years and am glad it’s there.

I've been filling up my various boats here since I can remember. Sure they're the only game in town if you need gas on the lake, but you'd be surprised how much stuff they pack in the store above the docks. After you grab some ice and whatever else, check out the sandwich shop that's attached to it - great spot for some good eats.

Hot coconut lattes , egg/sausage wraps, thai chicken w/ peanut sauce wraps and bakery goods are out of this world for a small camp store. The perfect start to the morning and such an unexpected gem! The store has some of the nicest employees too (thank you Steve Camera!). Love the back room of Adirondack wares, gifts and clothing for sale. Great cheese selection and Boar's Head in deli. Love, love, love this store whether you arrive by boat or car!

We rented the 24 ft pontoon boat. Family of ten with 8 full grown people and two children 8 and 9. It was a great day on the lake, the water was cold and clear and it was quite warm out. We caught about 10 small mouth bass and got to swim near the island and beach area. The marina did not have a bathroom, every time I stepped in the store somebody was buying something so honestly there is no reason for this place to not invest in a bathroom ast this point. My understanding they have one but only for the employees. But hey, you can use the porti potty across the street, very inconvenient. Three next item was the lack of an air conditioner in the store itself. Seriously a floor a/c is 300 bucks and you're in an area of the country you only need it maybe 30 days it of the year. But for a business this could mean so many more customers for you if you included an a/c and nice bathhouse of some kind. Everything else was exactly what my family was looking for and we thank you for that.

This is cutest store, it has unique items for sale, as well as regular groceries and household items. It is one of the few places in the area to get gas, and the people that work there are really nice and helpful! If there is anything you need for camping or want a cute gift, this is the place to go!!
