If I could leave a zero I would, walked in asked if I could be helped out with a wiper warranty... was told no since I didnt have a receipt and stores were not linked. They are.... the young man with dreads/braids gave zero interest in trying to help us. To make it worse, there wasnt even a customer in the store for them to be too busy to extend any help with us. Went to another location and was helped out wonderfully. I will not be going back to this location.

Can in with a broken windshield wiper. Jim helped me right away.. was very friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. Not only did he find the correct part, but came right out and installed it for me… LOVE THIS PLACE! Would recommend to anyone who is not windshield wiper savvy!! Or in need of a friendly person to help you and not make you feel dumb… THANKS JIM!!!

Horrible store and personnel... Ordered parts week ago, said they in, now the people working say they don't know where they are and not in the system. Meanwhile said please give me a minute and I'll help you. As he starts taking other customers and keeps me waiting. Was already waiting 15 minutes for my turn to that point. Manager who runs this should be ashamed of this service. Not even worth 1 star but can't give lower... He lost an extra sale as was trying buy other things... I'll take my business somewhere else...

VERY upset. I took off my wheel bearing 2 weeks ago. This store sold me a new one, it was the wrong one! Then we go back and try to get the right one and they say they don't have it.. then we look for the tool to get the bearing off and what do you know, they don't have the one we need. Which WOULD BE FINE.. BUT we have now been there 4 TIMES to try and get a refund.. we work long hours so we are limited on time.. and EACH TIME THEY SAY THEY CANT RIGHT NOW! "Come back later tonight when we have more cash" or the next time was "come back earlier when we have more cash" ITS ONLY $101!!! YOUre telling me that you don't have 1 or 2 people that come in and pay cash to you for your parts that you don't even match to be the right ones?! So aggravating that I have the wrong bearing but cant just get my money back for it so that I can get the right one from a more organized parts store.

They do a bait and switch when you call to check prices of parts. Told me two rotors were around $75.00 and had a deal going on that pads would only cost $10.00 more. The bill was over $250 for the same parts I was quoted over the phone. However I could not drive else where because my brakes were really bad! Shame on the staff at Adcance and the company for their misleading quotes

Was told by the location, Orchard Park that they were the only ones that had a part I needed drove all the way to Williamsville then all the way back home to find they gave me the wrong part

Excellent customer service. Employee took the time to try multiple oil filter wrenches to make sure I had the proper fit. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

I love this place because I'm a disabled and when I was single they came out and installed the battery. They also did their code reader. Very very helpful.

I came into the store today to purchase. A spark plug handed it to the kid behind the counter. He then went to the back room and then came to the counter more than once. I waited 10 minutes, then he tried selling me the wrong spark plug. Good thing I checked the box. This is why I don't shop at your stores. Use need to train your employees the right way.

I went in the other day in attempts to buy a considerable amount of parts for my car. The blonde woman at the counter was glaring at me the whole time like I had 3 heads or something. She was complaining that she "didn't want to be in customer service" loud enough so myself and the other customer could definitely hear her while we were browsing the store. I don't know what her problem was, but neither one of us stayed to buy anything or find out. Auto Zone has plenty of parts and way nicer managers to deal with, in case you're looking for somewhere else to go.

Don’t try and return anything here without a receipt the bully that waited on me 24 hours prior to my purchase and remembered me and remembered the products I bought still Would not exchange the item I bought so I could purchase the proper item I needed, which was more money. I was only attempting to exchange my item and she remembered me. I had to call corporate who tracked down my order via the computer in five minutes sent me my receipt in an email and said that was improperly handled. I should’ve at least gotten a gift card, which is company policy, so I could purchase the item I needed. I even pulled up my credit card total for the woman and told her to add up the items so she could see that they added up properly to the four items I bought with no discounts and mind you there were no offers or discounts available. She said so the day of my purchase. She then sent me away with the item I didn’t need and told me I was stuck with. I can’t believe how I was treated absolutely ridiculous. I misplaced my receipt. I wasn’t trying to steal anything or get anything for free just an exchange and give more money for the proper item and she remembered me and she had my total for the four products I bought all things that she could put together in her mind and come to an understanding that I’m not some thief, but she was more interested in being a bully. And all her co workers agreed with her that she did nothing wrong and even came out of the back, chuckling at me for having called corporate to get my receipt. An absolute bunch of bullies if you ask me with a smidgen of power. The corporate man I spoke to was absolutely wonderful helpful I appreciate him helping me so much. He will be the only reason why I’d go to advance auto parts again I just will never go to the store again. He was way more helpful than the bullies that are running the store. My frustration and aggravation with this situation brought these people joy wow! You should all pet yourselves on the back. You’re so powerful. If I could, I would give this Store zero stars and corporate five stars I don’t understand how this mismanagement happens from corporation to Store but these people running this store are all bullies with the shortage of workers around our area. I would rather not encounter people of this caliber ever again. If you’re only motive is to be rude and inconsiderate and unhelpful, maybe you shouldn’t work in customer service. There are plenty of more helpful, auto parts stores around town. You folks are more interested in sending people away, unhappy and unhelped. I am sure since the three of you who Were there yesterday are the bottom of the barrel employees you will not lose your jobs or be reprimanded in anyway because there is nobody to take your position so you will continue to be rude individuals who laugh and find joy with your power. I will go to Napa from now on and not your store out of convenience.

My car battery died while out doing errands on 12/23/23. After receiving a jump, I went to Advance Auto Parts on Transit Road to purchase a replacement battery. A store sign posted a banner stating free battery installation, I asked for the battery to be installed. When the clerk asked for assistance, her manager stated " if you sold the battery you need to install it". It was obvious the clerk did not know how to install the battery and she admitted to me she never installed a battery before. I returned to the store requesting assistance for the clerk. A second employee went to my vehicle to assist with the installion. 75 minutes later, I was apprehensive about the installation but was assured by staff that I was "good to go". Five days later my car died in a store parking lot. I called a local mechanic who came to assist. After opening the hood, it was obvious the battery was installed incorrectly. The connections on both the positive and negative posts were loose to the point where they could be removed by hand. We also noted the battery support posts were installed backward. The mechanic quickly made the necessary repairs and the battery was installed correctly in less than 5 minutes. Advance Auto Parts needs to train their staff to make sure they can perform the tasks advertised.

Needed to find windshield wipers and checked with Autozone first, they were extremely rude and offered no help whatsoever when they told me that the wipers were not in stock. Advance unfortunately did not have the right wiper in stock, but the staff was extremely helpful and were able to place an order to get them shipped to the store. Thank you to Cam and the other staff member!

Worst experience ever got an item and didn't end up needing it. The item is not on the list of items that are unreturnable and the manager of the store I went to still refused to return item. I'm normally calm cool and collected when dealing with others that work in any semblance of customer service because I know how it is but when an item isn't listed as unreturnable and the manager treats people like they couldn't tear their way out of a wet paper bag, I gotta say something. Probably won't go to an advance ever again

My windshield wiper crapped the bit a few weeks ago and I went there after work super hangry and tired but drove there after work thinking they’d place it on for me if I purchase the wipers from them, as I have no clue as a single mom of 3 little ones how to do it myself . I was patiently waiting in line for 25 mins as a customer in front of me was making an exchange and decided he wanted to ask the cashier to check multiple prices which took that long. When I finally got to the cashier, I asked to purchase the wipers for my vehicle and if anyone could put them on for me. This young, long haired cashier was quick to tell me he can’t do such as there’s nobody else working except for him today…as I saw at least 3 employees in the background walking by. I’m very upset since as a single busy working mom, my time is precious. Worst part was driving there on Transit RD from downtown to Lancaster to Williamsville while there was construction due to road repavement. I was in gridlock in traffic for near 40 mins after work just to get there. I’ve always had such a great experience at Autozone with gentlemen helping me with placing the windshield wipers I buy and even a difficult battery I purchased there after my battery died in dead of winter to replace on my Mitsubishi. I figured since this auto place was closest to my home, I’d get this over and done with instead of making the extra drive to Autozone. Well now I know I have to make that extra drive for my auto needs.

This used to be good but now they will to wiggle out of their warranty. Oh it excludes what we define as wear and tear. Oh it excludes what we define as lifetime of item. So a starter, an alternator is defined by them as having a life of 2 yr. Yes TWO YEARS. So its an excluded 2 yr warranty not lifetime. so why would i pay 2x rockauto if their warranty is suspect...so long advance

Employees here are amazing. There were able to help me find and figure out the proper product I needed for my car, and even helped install and showed me how to install them. Never once made me feel bad for having little to no knowledge on the matter

After I picked up the battery that I paid for on line, I asked for installation; Advanced Auto's website said "Free installation". I was told "We don't install batteries that are located in the trunk." I drove to Northtown Hyundai to have the battery installed, which they did. The shop manager said that the supposed "new" battery had been installed before. There were signs of corrosion on one of the terminals as well as the scraping marks normal to cleaning the terminals. This was sold to me as NEW!

SUPER helpful! Not sure if business was slow right then or not, but I came in for one thing and while that wasn't found, I walked out with brand new windshield wipers installed! Very fast and efficient! I'm sorry I didn't ask his name but a very tall gentleman helped me, and the name "Chris S." was on the receipt. I would visit again for my car part needs.

Stop by to have my check engine light tested and the gentlemen was very nice and professional especially since it had just started raining, but i did at least hold my umbrella for him. I thanked him for helping me and for the advice.

Ver helpful. Saved me 100 bucks. A shop wanted to charge me 110 for a minor repair but advance told me how i could do it myself for a 6 dollar can of throttle body cleaner. Car runs much better and i still got my hundred. Count me as a happy customer ?

My windshield wipers blew off during a snow storm. I stopped in, the associate Brian looked up and found me a pair of Trico Ice/Snow. He never asked if I wanted them installed, just unpacked them and headed towards my vehicle-- Great service, and very helpful. Not the first time getting great help from this store.

Long wait time and most spark plugs were out of stock. They were friendly but 5-10 minute wait been in the only person in the store so they can take care of a mechanic on their commercial phone line is a bit much
