They get the job done. However, the man was rude and would interrupt me every chance he got. He spoke to me and my sister in a condescending way. I would much rather pick anywhere else where people treat me with kindness and respect AND get the job done. I feel like if someone is in a situation where they need their car towed the last thing you want to do is make it worse with your attitude. I spoke to this man multiple times and it was the same way each time. Thank you for your services. Maybe work on the customer service for the future.
Absolutely worst company ever! Literally impossible to contact, number goes straight to an answering service and no one responds. Insurance company of person that rear ended me is responsible for all fees yet I just received a bill via certified mail. They kept my car and conveniently forgot to inform me that town of Tonawanda police require me to go to station and obtain a tow release from them (apparently the only station that does this). So they keep my car, won’t respond to calls, continue to charge for storage, then send me a bill when I’m not responsible. Definitely reporting to BBB!! DO NOT ALLOW THIS COMPANY TO TOW YOUR CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My car should have only been there max 2 days!
Absolute nightmare I called from the hospital the first time then when released I called again JAY was the person that I spoke to that told me he would have the owner call me back, I never received a call back! Jay was very rude and abusive to me and threatened me that he wasn’t going to allow my tow company to take my car unless I paid $2000 that’s more then I make in a month because I’m disabled. The Kenmore police told me to ask about what options I had. I offered to give the title to the car but was told I owed $2000 plus $200 Jay threatened me wouldn’t allow me to get my cane of belongings and told me that he was putting a lien on my title that I offered to sign over to the owner who he refused to give me his name and told me I would owe over $9000 dollars by the time a lien is put on my title and caused me to have a panic attack and severe depression that was very unprofessional and I believe the owner should hire respectful employees and have some kind of compassion to seriously injured people. I’m absolutely disgusted by the treatment I received. By Jay there is never an acceptable excuse to verbally abuse a disabled person that was just released from the hospital and the title was sent to Ethan 3 weeks ago so he could sell the car and get paid toward the bill. I was contacted by Jay again you called me names and raised his voice at me and told me I owe $4000 and he’s sending me to collections. I have to contact my attorney who is my brother in law. now because I wasn’t able to get my cane to help me walk or my belongings from inside the car I can barely walk I was unable to get my cane plus I had spinal cord surgery & I am on SSD from having a heart attack and stroke my son heard me getting yelled at today and hung the phone up. The overcharging pay in cash thing was concerning enough but being verbally abused and threatened by a tow company employee was unnecessary and harmful as I have a brain injury. I’m very sad to have been treated so poorly losing my car will set me back decades and has caused irrefutable harm to my family. Ethan you really need to have more respectful people working for you.
Regulation states this business needs to make my car available to me everyday including weekends. Not only was I unable to make an appointment because nobody calls back or answers the phone. Their website says they open at 8:30am. It is currently 9:20 and I have been here since 8:30am and nobody is here. I am unable to retrieve my car and now late for work. This business is making it impossible for me to get my things and they need to have their contract with the town of tonawanda ended immediately.
Edit: one week later and they are still illegally holding my car and refusing to allow insurance to collect it despite me giving them the release for on Monday. This business is a nightmare.
Google says open til 5… call and say “we’re open til 4, will have driver call you.” Driver calls and says “we’re open until 430. There’s a $75 gate fee, I recommend you come tomorrow during business hours.” I inform them they should update their hours on google and I’m told to “drop the attitude .” What losers, great way to do business!
Much appreciation for Ethan's assistance in helping me to access my daughter’s car “lock-out”. Great effort in overcoming my ignorance/error, ok - my stupidity. A big save!

Had an accident on 9/7/24 and car had to be towed. the tow truck showed up within 20min, professionally loaded my car with care on the truck, gave me a card and explained all that was going to happen and answered all questions and cleaned up the road too! I recommend this company
Getting into a car accident is never fun. Getting charged for a tow is not fun either. But the service here was really nice. I had Ethan help me out by bringing my car there and he gave me couple days till we got out of the hospital and had everything situated., he took my car for more money then it was worth and only charged me 200 instead of the initial 580. I had no insurance and he compromised. My car was covered in glass and he gave me gloves and made sure everything was safe. He also allowed me to use his phone charger. Most tow truck drivers I’ve met don’t even spare you words or have any thoughts towards your situation. I don’t understand all the negative reviews but the most recent review is me and I feel they did an exceptional job.

My car was towed here by the Tonawanda Piggies and to get it back I had to get a hold of the Guy running this location. We talked prices and outrageous fees since I had to fly out for work. Came to a total which I was to bring. Anytime anyone asks for CASH, it's a red flag. I show up with the appropriate sum of Cash and the Driver was asking for $150 more and wouldn't give me my vehicle. So I started asking him what the rate was and the other fees that I was paying for. I also him asked for a Receipt for my transaction. He said, "You know, they were probably right when they told you the total." "But what was the total Sir?" "Um idk, because they didnt leave me the paperwork. But I bet it was right." I gave him the cash and got out of there, no receipt.
They scam the innocent. Screw these people.
My father got in an accident and his car was towed to United. Ethan was extremely kind and understanding of our situation. He was prompt when meeting us, communicative, and provided all of the information that we requested. Very professional and reasonably priced.
They wanted to tow my vehicle the auto body shop they deal with and gave us a hard time when we said no. We wanted to take it to my collision shop. They still pursued their choice of body shop.
I also called about the bill because it seemed high. The dispatcher was rude and nasty with me when i asked for a breakdown of the charges.
I would never recommend or use them again!!
Absolutely horrible. Gave one price $461 then I received a certified letter of $160 plus tax. When you call the guy that answers every time is rude and nasty and just hangs up on you every time. Never in the shop even though you setup an appointment to be there. Taking it for more money daily. Police were involved and still no fix so now they’re holding my vehicle, won’t release for what the letter states and I need to sue them. On a good note they lost the police towing jobs... Called headquarters still waiting for upper management to call me back.
Worst experience I ever had. Owner is greedy and take advantage of your situation. I had an accident, and Tonawanda police asked Atkinson service to tow our car(Dodge Dart-2015) for 1 mile to thier shop. Owner gave me $1000 bill for towing. When I told him $1000 is too much for towing 1 mile, he said he will make it $500 for you and asked me to give car title to him. He offered me another 50% discount. Means he offered me $250 for my car, and rest of $250 I have to pay for towing even after selling my car to him. Cars front was damaged but tyres, battery, entire passanger/back side were good. I requested him to make it zero-zero, but he knew I dont have any option. I can not tow back such car to my home or somewhere else, and on top I have to pay entire $500 bill. Also he denied to take our belongings from our car without paying his $500 bill. He took advantage of our situation. At the end, already tired of losing car and having an accident, I just give signed car title and paid $250 so he won't call or send me payment reminders. I request Tonawanda police to check his unethical practices and charges to people.
