In the past I have left a 5 star review but now I have to change that. I came in for some issues with 3 year old car to get repaired and that went well had taken a while and they gave me a courtesy vehicle.
While my car was being worked on I decided to speak to sales just in case my car was not worth repairing. It was going well until I decided I didn't want to buy a new car. I had given a $500 deposit while I was still deciding if I wanted to buy the new car but now that I have decided not to they are dodging me and not refunding my $500 deposit. So now I have had to open a dispute with my bank.
My wife and I were going to use them to buy her a new car in a few months since I decided not to. But now we will not be coming here.
Will only be coming here for service until a find another VW dealer.

Oil change done I will say the desk person I spoke with was quite pushy. I told them I was going on a trip and was just wondering if they could check everything over in addition to the oil change thinking maybe I'd spend an extra 50 bucks. He told me my 'record' showed I had a laundry list of services to do, which wasn't true as my uncle who is a mechanic works on my car regularly. I have anxiety so I almost paid an extra 600 dollars out of pocket. Glad I called my mom to panic, because I needed ONLY an oil change.... I got someone else to do a quick check over of my car before the trip for FREE from a very nice local mechanic.
What a phenomenal experience working with Gary Gill! He was super knowledgeable, highly responsive, and customer-focused. Gary communicated early and often with us, made sure all our questions were answered, and most importantly, made sure we were happy with our decision. The day of the purchase, Jacob Abdullah took care of us, and wow, what an enthusiastic, customer-focused professional. We feel great about our decision to go with Northtown. These two gentlemen deserve a raise!

Have a lease for two years so far. 6 months ago had just a flat tire and the car doesn't come with a spare. Took Northtown over a week to replace the tire. After 4 days I called for an update and whomever took the call never notified anyone why the car was brought in. Took another 5 days to replace the tire and refused to supply a rental so I had no vehicle for 9 days.
Last week the clutch burnt out. Volkswagen Jetta with 20,000 miles. Was told it'll take a week till they can get to the repair and refused a rental with an attitude. Was treated like I was ignorant to request a vehicle till the repair was completed.
Worst customer service I've ever experienced in any industry. I originally planned on buying my next vehicle from Northtown . Obviously I'm never giving them my business ever again. Normally I'd keep treatment like this to myself but now that it seems to be their M.O. whenever I hear anyone discussing buying or leasing a vehicle I will go out of my way to save as many people I can from experiencing the worst customer service.
I am now editing my prior review. Manager Dave came through on his promises and I am now a very satisfied customer! I means a lot that he kept his word and delivered all that we were promised. It was a rocky start but after that was acknowledged and things were handled right, I would recommend this dealership. Thank you Northtown!
I can't say enough good things about Northtown. Our salesman, Dan Rubino was a straight-shooter, courteous, and personable throughout the process. He knew we were working within a certain budget and helped us find a beautiful and reliable vehicle that we believe we'll be able to drive for many years. This is the first dealership that I've walked away from feeling good about the car buying experience.
What a great car shopping experience. We bought during the pandemic and upon entering the showroom, everyone was mindful of the recommended precautions. The selection of vehicles was outstanding and the buying process was done easily and quickly. Finalizing the finance paperwork was easy and the staff member stayed after hours with us to complete the paperwork and get it submitted. When it's time to buy another vehicle, we will definitely be coming back here.

I've had the pleasure of dealing with Northtown Auto & Collision several times. I've always received exceptional customer service. Anthony from Northtown Collision is one of the greatest employees I've ever met!! After being hit by a drunk driver I bought my Subaru to their collision shop. Very nice people! Picked us up from our home and gave us a ride to the car dealership for free so we can shop for a car. I had a great experience with Northtown Automotive (Millersport location) and I wanted to share it with anyone who is searching for a top-notch dealership to do business with in the Buffalo/Niagara region. Our experience at Northtown was exceptional. Lou Viapiano was nothing short of gracious and informative. He got us the exact car I wanted for the price we desired. This was the second vehicle I purchased from Jim Schreck and Northtown, and both times have been awesome. Jim was never too pushy, and never tried selling me something that I didn't need. Excellent experience working with salesperson Matt Clark. He was very knowledgable about the products and very enthusiastic to ensure that my family and I were purchasing the correct vehicle that would satisfy both wants and needs. Northtown was willing to work with us to make a deal that was satisfactory for all parties and I believe that if possible any future vehicle purchase will be made there instead of other dealerships that I've dealt with in the past... especially that "huge" one on the Island where I had a very bad experience.
