I love Big Rock! They stock really cool niche grocery products so there’s always something new to try. I love supporting local producers and farmers so it’s nice to have such a good selection of produce to choose from. Also the coffee bar inside is super convenient so you can peruse the shelves while you sip on your drink.
Great general store with a country vibe. Clean yet rustic. Great selection of local produce and meats. Prices are fair. My son loved the play area with the corn and toy trucks.
Great general store with healthy choices. Owner and staff are super helpful. After I foolishly drove an hour and a half to get there, without calling first to see if they had a larger bulk size available. They made an arrangement with one of their generous customers to allow me to buy his order, with his permission, and they re- ordered another order for him so that I did not have to drive the 3 hour round trip again due to my mistake. Great place to stop if you are local or just passing through. Tasty coffee and baked goods as well as the other market good available.
I love the big Rock Community farm market, it is such an anchor for Stanfordville, it is such a homy, happy place. There is nothing like real healthy and local foot. Thank-you for the hard work.
Wonderful market with a good coffee shop inside. I grabbed some lattes with oat milk and some chap stick there. The cashiers were super friendly. The bathroom was very clean. Highly recommended.
YEAR ROUND indoor Farm Market!?????????? what a great find. turned my car around to see what the OPEN sign was all about. All meat & cheeses sourced from NY farms. Great selection of fresh veggies as well. I look forward to going back this summer for a FRESH bouquet?

So much great local produce and baked goods! A bounty of local meats, too, and a thoughtful selection of pantry goods, including Asian ingredients like mirin, whole-wheat bread flour, and Lillie's BBQ sauce. Easy to pull together an entire dinner...and the new store improvements are terrific!
This region is so agriculturally rich, and this market really makes the most of it. They put a lot of care into their business, and their products are local and delicious. The building itself is charming too. I still dream about their homemade potato chips!
While it's great to have this place in the neighborhood, there is no reason on this planet that they should be charging what they are charging for things like salad, arugula, and other fruits and vegetables. What are they thinking? Did I really see a small $15 bag of arugula or am I dreaming? Some things are reasonably priced, but I'm not going back anytime soon.
Big Rock Market rocks. Picked up all of our Thanksgiving provisions when we vacationed in the area for the holiday. Best turkey we’ve ever prepared. All of the vegetables were fresh and delicious tasting. The baked goods were to die for. All of the staff were so helpful and a pleasure to work and do business with. In this age of waning customer service, Big Rock Market shines.
This shop has amazing local fruits, veggies, dairy, meat and baked goods. The sales team shares stories of the farms where items are sourced from. Super knowledgeable, which I appreciate when shopping local. I had that fresh organic local watermelon this morning and it was the juiciest! And those duck eggs, first time and it will not be my last. Thank you Big Rock!

Big Rock isn't a farmers' market per se, rather it's a store that specializes in products produced by local farms and artisans. It has a good selection of lovely local produce, meats, cheese, baked goods, and so on. Prices are typically quite high, but that's too be expected. The staff is very friendly.
Mark Burdick runs a first rate operation and you can't go wrong with anything you buy here. The produce and meats are all exceptional and sourced locally. We got these beautiful hanging baskets here. Along with the long stem Tulips. Sarah designed the rest of our baskets and pots.
I love this place! Every time I'm in the area I stop in for coffee, a donut, maybe a pie or some fresh, local produce. Mark, the owner, is a warm, friendly Texas cowboy, ever in the middle of some project but always has time to stop and chat for a few minutes. He has a huge bulletin board outside for posting local events as well as a chalk board that lists all the farms that supply their goods including their location. That is something I really appreciate. Beautiful market store loaded with fantastic produce, meats, coffee, baked goods, pottery and even clothing all from local vendors. Real quality stuff all inside a gorgeously renovated Victorian farmhouse. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy in one of the rocking chairs on the lovely porch.
Beautiful farm with great atmosphere the farm owner is really nice the place is huge beautiful bed and breakfast in the huge 5 bedroom 3 bath home everything is nice and peaceful and the people here are great 2 I had so much fun it was worth more than the $350 I paid a night. And the new horse is a great addition to the farm...i loved it.
Really great local farm market in Stanfordville, NY. Located in a beautifully renovated old house, they sell mostly local foods including vegetables, plants, fruit, cheeses, eggs, dairy, prepared foods, ice cream, frozen foods, herbs, etc. A little pricey but worth it for the convenience. Some weeknights discounts are offered, and their Friday and weekend hours cater to those who might be driving up from the city to stay in weekend homes.
