Been going here for years. Mark and his team always provide great friendly service and this is one of the few places I trust to bring my work to. In all the years I've been going here I have never been disappointed in their work or what they charge. They can work on anything from Modern American/European cars to antique classics. They're always willing to spend time with customers and explain what's needed to do a job. Not many shops like this left anymore.
Old school shop with high end older cars. The owner and his staff are nice, helpful and welcoming. Honest, upfront and didnt charge me for his diagnosis which I had agreed to pay beforehand. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles here as you can tell they are knowledgeable, experienced and most importantly honest.

In 2022 I dropped off my 1968 Mercedes Benz light mechanical work and changed the dead battery.after 4months and & 600.00 latter returned my car with broken hood loch. Now I cannot open my hood to check my oil and engine.after manny complained nobody wants to take the responsibility..to bad. They are hard working people.I paid for the parts but labor.Mark you promised me to make good. Mark where are you.?Mark

My son's car needed to be towed after an accident on Slate Quarry Rd. The recovery was at 6pm, so I could see a little premium for after hours, but these guys wanted over $800 for a total of 18 miles. They are a rip off. After the sticker shock I asked for a break down of the charges. I was told it was $180 for the recovery, $80 for clean up and $525 to go from there yard in Rhinebeck to Matt's Autobody in Salt Point! When I told them I would just have Matt's come pick it up and I would pay then the $260 the owner got on the phone and was totally irate and unprofessional, and at that point they have all the point since the car is locked in their yard. I only went with M&M because the State Trooper all but pushed them on me. Never, ever again will I use them and I recommend you avoid them too.
What a guy!! I am very happy with the quality of service received here. My fiance has a BMW and our usual mechanic wouldn't touch it. After a few calls another mechanic gave a strong recommendation for m & m auto. They were professional and timely - not extremely fast but they have a lot of business coming through and we still got the car back in about a week. But what means the most to me is his honesty and fairness. He looks after you in the sense that he tries to repair what parts he can if the replacement part is ridiculously priced and he stands by his work. If the issue isn't completely resolved he offers a fair deal for continuing work where as others might just say "too bad" and charge you full all over again. I didn't feel like he was milking the clock, and I respect him greatly. His honesty and dependability are what sets him apart from every other "high end" mechanic. And when you pull up and see porshes, Ferraris, and a couple street racers you know you are in good hands.
Mark and his team are absolute A+ mechanics with a tireless work ethic and endless knowledge of just about anything with a motor. He is the only mechanic that I trust with my MG but I would take any car, new or classic to him without hesitation. Just looking around the lot you will see everything from new BMWs to obscure classics like TVRs.
If you're in need of a fantastic honest, reliable and trustworthy mechanic for any vehicle. Look no further. I've been taking my vehicles here for over 10 years. I always recommend them and every time I go, there are all types of vehicles there, from classic muscle cars to old Ferraris, porschs and all models in between.
Stay away! Very dishonest business.
I was in an accident and needed a tow and these guys preyed on me like vultures. They double charged me and he eld my car ransom until they were paid cash. They refused to tow me to my garage, which was close by, so I had to get another tow, which was half the price of these rip-off artists. They don't even accept credit cards, which is sketchy already.
The owner is a particularly nasty man with a mouth and no social skills or redeeming qualities.
Really unfortunate and wrong to take advantage of people in need.
Last year we got an estimate for $1,900 for some work. They had the car for 2 months and charged us $3,700!!! A week later all the oil fell out of the car. They fixed that. A week after that all the coolant fell out. They said they'd give us a free tow but charged us. I feel ripped off and never got an apology. Buyer beware.
