The Inn at West Settlement is such a stunning Catskills wedding venue! Tucked just outside the town of Roxbury, it offers the perfect mix of mountain views, charming gardens, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Everywhere you turn, there’s a gorgeous backdrop — from the flower-filled gardens to the rolling hills, to the beautiful barn and cocktail space. It’s a dream for photography and such a treat for couples and their guests.
The property also has a lovely home on site, which makes getting ready on the wedding day so convenient and comfortable. Everything is in one place, and that flow makes the day feel relaxed and stress-free.
Working with Kim, the owner, was wonderful. She is welcoming, professional, and really cares about the experience couples have at her venue. You can tell she takes pride in making sure every wedding is special.

I just got back from the most picture perfect wedding weekend I could have ever dreamt up at The Inn at West Settlement. From the moment we met the owner and coordinator, Kim, a year ago, I knew her calm, positive energy was exactly what I wanted to be surrounded by on my wedding day. The absolutely stunning grounds, farmhouse, and flowers that Kim and her team meticulously maintain and arrange for the wedding day were FLAWLESS. I could go on forever, there aren’t enough good things to say about this venue and Kim and her team. If you’re looking for a stunning venue in the Catskills, look no further. Now can we go back and do it again?!
The Inn at West Settlement, lead by owner and DOC, Kim Lynas, was a dream come true! Kim and her team were amazing. They have curated a gorgeous venue, with incredible landscape and beautiful reception barn. The Farmhouse was a wonderful space to stay and get ready. The barn was the perfectly sized space for our 130 person wedding.
Kim had an awesome room of decorations for us to use for our decor needs. We really didn’t need to add anything! From candle holders, table numbers, tons of signs, card boxes, flower vases.
The Inn works exclusively with Mary’s Cookin’ catering and Rachel’s bartending team. Their experience and thorough knowledge of the space makes for a smooth and professional service experience for all your food and beverage needs.
Kim was open-minded and excited about the vendors we did bring in, helping us pick photographers and DJs from previous weddings she thought would match our vibe. She coordinated with all the vendors seamlessly.
Having the space for the entire weekend, including a Friday welcome dinner and Sunday farewell brunch was the perfect way to extend an amazing wedding into a three day event. Friday morning was spent with Kim and her team, putting together bouquets from her incredible flower garden and picking out decor from her collection to create the perfect wedding aesthetic to match our dream look.

If you're looking for a venue to have your wedding weekend outside of your cookie cutter banquet ballrooms, then you've found your place. Nestled in one of the most private environments you can imagine, you feel as though you have an entire mountain range to yourself. The natural backdrops are stunning and you are in full "disconnect to reconnect" mode. The venue is incredibly weather resilient since the barn is two full levels, allowing you to host all activities indoors with plenty of room, if needed. We can't recommend enough staying on property at the 6 bedroom, 3 full bath farmhouse that allows you to have enough space for any and all wedding prep you can think of. The farmhouse and the barn are eclectic in the all the right ways. A step back to a simpler, more laid back, era.
Most importantly, the owner and day of coordinator, Kim, is truly one of a kind. She's passionate, hardworking, and makes your wedding day and wedding weekend as smooth as can be. This infectious energy translates to her team as well as they are true embodiments of her professionalism. Kim is extremely well organized and communicative throughout the process. Highly recommend at least one in person visit to touch base as the wedding draws near.
Kim is truly a master of her domain when it comes to flowers and flower arrangements, with many of the flowers grown on property. As long as you and a few others are willing to help with putting together arrangements, the flowers come complimentary with the booking of this venue. It's truly a wonderful experience to have that time to bond with family and friends while putting personal touches on all the arrangements.
Kim has a wonderful list of recommended vendors for all aspects of the your wedding day, so if you need some advice or a vendor, Kim has a plethora of knowledge and well established relationships she can lean on. Kim's food vendor for the cocktail hour and reception, Mary, is as old school as they come. She can create fantastic dishes and bites, but be prepared for phone calls with pen & paper. If you're someone who prefers ultra-modern and corporate, then this venue is not for you. This is a venue, where ultimately, the time and energy you dedicate to your wedding prep is returned in full, and then some, from Kim and her team. If you're willing to be wholly engaged then this venue simply doesn't disappoint. If done right, the vibe you'll create is large, upscale, backyard family BBQ energy.
We simply cannot think of a better way to spend a weekend with our closest friends and family. If I could, this would be a 6 star review.
Just had our wedding here and we could not be more thrilled with the venue, staff, and especially Kim the stellar organizer at the heart of the operation. We cannot say enough about how beautiful our special weekend was and now fantastically well everything was run.
The Inn at West Settlement is a magical place to have a destination wedding. The beautiful lush grounds, magnificent flowers, and breathtaking view all added to the warmth and charm for a wonderful wedding experience for my son and his fiancé. Not only was the setting amazing, the food was delicious too. Kim Lynas, owner of the Inn at West Settlement, and her vendors were easy to work with. They were all very accommodating, patient and kind. Most importantly, Kim and her team made sure that my son and his new bride had the dream wedding they envisioned. It was perfect!
Our wedding last weekend was absolutely perfect. When I first met Kim, I knew she was the person I wanted in charge of our wedding! The whole staff and all her preferred vendors were incredible to work with. We wanted an event that pulled us away from NYC’s concrete jungle, that felt earthen, authentic, familial, and warm. We wanted to support small local businesses and have a vintage touch to everything to feel truly grounded in the moment.
We could not be happier with how everything turned out. When it started to rain during our ceremony, the staffed ran over with umbrellas for everyone. The food from Mary’s catering was exceptional. The views and flowers everywhere truly felt like a fairy tale that is impossible to even imagine after visiting in the winter. Everyone truly felt like this was one of the more special venues they had ever visited. From the bonfire and smores to the incredible barn ambience and dance floor, the vibes were truly immaculate!!! I can’t stop reliving all the perfect little moments. We are so thankful!!!!

I just had my dream wedding at The Inn at West Settlement. It truly felt like a fairytale. The grounds are absolutely stunning and so peaceful. We wanted something where we could spend the entire weekend with our family and friends and that’s exactly what we did. On Friday, my family and I were involved in designing our floral arrangements with flowers from the gardens which was such a sweet, personal experience. The flowers came out stunning and exactly like I had envisioned.
We had a welcome party Friday night and even though it rained, our coordinator Kim had a rain plan ready to go. Everyone who came to the wedding kept saying how magical it felt. From the twinkling lights during cocktail hour to the stunning mountain backdrop through the open window on the barn during dancing, it was gorgeous. I was concerned about the number of guests we had, but Kim reassured me the whole time that there would be plenty of room and there truly was.
Kim was so amazing with answering questions throughout the planning process and easing my nerves. My mother and I would joke that just hearing her voice would calm us down. Side note, food was delicious!!!! I can’t say enough great things about this place. I am already thinking of when we can go back to visit all of the people who made our day so special and see the gorgeous grounds again.
Had a great time hosting a wedding at this venue! Space is gorgeous, staff is friendly and efficient and the food was amazing! As a professional MC, I’ve seen a lot and dealt with many. Kim and her staff make this space one of the best venues in the Hudson Valley/Catskill area of NY! Can’t wait to get back there for another celebration!
The other day I had the pleasure of working at The Inn At West Settlement. The venue itself is nestled on an absolutely beautiful piece of property in the catskill. It truly is a nature lovers dream between the mountain views, abundant wildflowers, and tranquility of the pond, which can all be viewed from the venue space.
I can’t say this loud enough, the staff is INCREDIBLE! The moment I arrived I was greeted and given the lay of the land. Kim, the owner, was so warm, friendly, and had such a joy about her that you couldn’t help but want to be around. Not only that, she made all of the couple’s floral pieces using the wild flowers on property. Honestly, I was in awe of her talent. Between Kim, her husband, Danny, and the rest of the staff, if you select this venue your staff will feel more like family who has you every step of the way.
As a wedding photographer, this truly is a space I can’t wait to return to in the future.

The venue is stunning and remote, a dream location for a reasonable price. The flower garden is epic and glorious (see my profile pic). It’s amazing what Kim, the owner, has done with the land.
Most of the staff is pretty friendly but I had some difficulty with the wedding coordinator, also Kim. The bare minimum of what needed to get done, got done. But it was nearly impossible to touch base with her the weeks leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding. (There is no cell service on the property.) She relayed messages to me and my husband through wedding guests instead of members of the wedding party. It made things unnecessarily stressful and confusing. Her demeanor was overall curt and unprofessional, enough to ruin my big day. Thankfully I have a supportive husband and friends. She didn’t follow through with a lot that was in the contract and she didn't keep track of how much we paid her. She impatiently made decisions for us instead of deferring to what we wanted. Honestly, she seemed pretty burnt out and stretched thin. She was also super protective of the space. During the reception, she sat along the periphery with another man, to whom I was never introduced, like chaperones at a high school dance. Super awkward.
If you stay in the house, the master shower is pretty gross, filled with slimy mildew. I wish I had brought flip flops. The master bed frame is completely broken, presumably from, um, too much consummating.
i was recently invited to my cousins wedding and it was absolutely wonderful. Kim the wedding planner was fabulous and so helpful to everyone. i got to stay in the farmhouse and words can’t explain how magnificent it was. my whole experience was absolutely breathtaking.
My husband and I had our wedding here in July, 2022. To say that Kim and the property are amazing is such an understatement. We wanted a wedding that focused on good food, music, and one that was relaxed, personal, and full of nature and flowers. This venue exceeded every single one of our expectations. Kim was amazing to work with, extremely kind and genuine, while also being upfront and transparent. The inn and farmhouse are so charming and homey, and the barn made the perfect backdrop for our wedding (Kim has so many amazing decorations on hand). Perhaps our favorite part (besides getting married) was getting to spend the day before the wedding cutting our own wildflowers (!!!) And making our arrangements and bouquets. On top of all that, the Inn is extremely well priced. Especially considering everything you have on hand. We love this place!!
I am a long islander and I knew that venues here just weren't for me. We decided to look upstate in the mountains to find something more "us". My husband found this gem of a place and I am forever grateful that he did. We were truly going to book this sight-un-seen. We took a risk being so far away but ultimately Kim has everything (props, decorations etc) to make your wedding look picture perfect. From the gorgeous barn, wooden tables, mix-matched chairs...to the farmhouse surrounded by the Catskill mountains, everything was what we wanted/dreamed of. We had over 115 people traveling from Long Island and they all raved about this place. They said it was the most fun they ever had at a wedding, and I can conquer. I will never forget my wedding weekend here, it will always be held in my heart and my fondest memory. Kim is wonderful. She is helpful, patient and fulll of recommendations. We basically listened to her (food, DJ, bartenders) and we were just thrilled with everyone. Get married here.... you won't regret it!!
I absolutely love the Inn at West Settlement, and Kim! I had the perfect wedding week and everything went so smoothly. Kim is patient, understanding and very experienced. It's an incredible value for such a gorgeous spot, and the farmhouse is comfortable and has a lot of character. Would recommend 100%
My daughter had her wedding here yesterday. What a gorgeous place to have a wedding!!!! WOW!!! Everything went perfectly! The place was really absolutely gorgeous! The owner ( her name slipped my mind) was just a joy to work with. My daughter Cieara said she was so easy going and was on top of everything. All the guests had such wonderful things to say about the place and the wedding it self. I personally was worried about how big the dance for is but it fit everyone and it wasn't crowded at all. We all had room to dance without being on top of each other. Cieara had 120 guests and most of which were on the dance floor. The farm house is beautiful where the wedding party stayed. It's huge! The place was so nice with very large rooms. You will not have to worry about where you're going to take pictures the property has so so many options. If you're considering having your wedding here I highly recommend it!! Don't even give it a second thought. Pictures really don't do this place justice. It's a place you have to go and see. We are from CT.and many of the guests had to travel much further than CT and they all said how beautiful the ride was and so glad they came. Really a gorgeous place.
I cannot recommend this venue enough! If you are looking to have a picturesque barn wedding in the Catskills, this is the place to do it! The property is absolutely gorgeous and it was so convenient to be able to stay at a farmhouse on site during the wedding weekend. Kim was super helpful from the outset: she provided us with a comprehensive list of vendors in the area, she answered questions throughout the planning process, and she made the actual weekend run so smoothly! We did not have to worry about a thing (even the variable weather!) during the weekend, Kim took care of it all. Many of our guests came up to us during the wedding to ask where we had found such a perfect venue. Don't miss out on this special place!!
