We came around here for the purpose of skiing so we don’t really know the area too well. We were looking to grab some ice cream and they only had single cups. We figured we would buy them anyways but the very kind attendant recommended that we went to Stewart’s ice cream. We still bought stuff to give her service but very nice people.
J'ai lu les avis sur ce General Store, ils ne sont pas bon. Ce n'est pas mon expérience. Le dimanche matin quand tout est fermé, ils sont les seuls à Grand Gorge à proposer un breakfast ! Avoir quelque chose à manger quand tout est fermé, ça mérite une médaille. D'ailleurs il y a beaucoup de monde qui, comme moi, vient prendre son breakfast. Et à force de me tromper sur tout ce que je prends, je deviens sympathique à la personne qui tient la boutique !!! Merci à elle.
Stop here everyday as I am working in this town for work. Absolutely terrible atmosphere. After sitting in a parking lot for some time, myself and several co-workers witnessed many “drug related deals”-by opinion only. No proof. Shelves rarely stocked. Rude, unfriendly staff mornings. One lady and one man in particular are there most of the day, playing lottery and smoking cigarettes in the doorway.
Stopped to get something to drink and use the rest room. Asked a woman behind the counter where the restroom was, she was too busy on her cell phone to tell me. So asked another woman behind the counter and she pointed in the direction to go. Well, restroom was DISGUSTING!!! Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Someone messed all over the toilet, seat and floor. Never go there again. Yuck!!!!
I have travel all over this country and this place makes me ashamed of serving In gulf war to make places like this safe, no social skills and rude, I will sooner hitch hike t ha buy gas here ever again.
This place is one of the main places I stop when I am riding the motorcycle. Warm friendly atmosphere, and frequented by the locals. The deli food is nice in a pinch and the drinks are cold. It's just a nice place to stop rest the legs before continuing on.
