Was in the pileup on I-90. Triple A was absolutely useless and I sat on the side of the road from 12pm - around 6:30ish PM.
I learned GB is responsible for the stretch of road I was on. Made 1 phone call, Steve answered, and had me picked up and dropped off within 15-20minutes. Thank you Steve!!
Very fast and friendly service. Towed and gave us a ride 90 min aesy even with our dog in the car. Was super helpful and even pulled up to a doggie park while waiting for accident report. Highly recommend this business.
Home town mechanic that knows their stuff and still cares about customers. I was stranded in unfamiliar territory on a long road trip, and instead of taking advantage of this, they took care of my issue QUICKLY, HONESTLY, and at a FAIR price!
They do a good job kind of on the expensive side though . Just because people get between a rock and a hard place don’t mean you need to give them a Phillips head screwing .
We had had an already extremely stressful day of traveling when our car battery unexpectedly died on I- 90 at 1:00 in the morning. It was the last straw as we had been on the road at that point for 17 hours (and were still two hours from home) in what normally should have been a 13 hour drive. We were all super tired and super freaked out. I was so grateful that when the tow truck arrived that the driver was kind, patient, and accommodating, especially to our five kids! The driver arrived as quickly as he could to rescue us and safely dropped us off at a hotel and our car at a repair shop. His kindness made an extremely stressful situation more manageable. I'm grateful to know there are still compassionate people in the world!
We were stranded on the side of I-90 and couldn't get anyone to help us. Finally, GB Repair offered to tow us, they showed up promptly and took us to a great nearby shop for repair. Prompt, honest and transparent service. Thank you and God Bless
My alternator died, was strained on I90 @ 7:30 am! Searched local shops and called GB Repair and they answered at 7:45, but didn't open until 8. Told me some one would be there when they opened to tow my car... They were there by 8:05! Car was fixed and I was on the road by 9:45 am!!! Was able to make it to my daughter's graduation in Rochester, NY! HIGHLY RECOMMEND...
Called out for a service truck to bring me 15 gallons of fuel and prime the fuel system so it turns out I paid him for this and then I had to turn around and payed him the tow my truck off the highway he told me the fuel pump was out so I make a trip to New York bring my primer tool with me prime the fuel system and the truck starts right up called him back and let him know that the fuel pump was good in my truck and I wouldn't have needed a tow if he would have just did his job!
Nastiest customer service I've experienced in a long time. Not quite sure but I believe it has to do with my race. More than once they threatened to call the troopers on me for questioning the bill? Stay away if possible.
We were driving on our way to finger lakes from Ohio and my car started making a horrible noise. They were the closest repair shop. Got us in right away and looked at my car. I had a bad hub and they fixed it in no problem. We were back on the road in no time and back to our trip. Great service and descent prices. Very nice people.
We were on a road trip approaching the last exit in NY when our car broke down on the toll road. They called G B Repair for us as an authorized wrecker for the area and Steve was there in a matter of minutes. He towed us to the nearest motel and took our car back to his shop. Being a Sunday, we knew we'd have to wait until at least the following morning for an update on the progress. By 11am, they informed us the repairs were done and they were sending their technician to come and scoop us up. The service was friendly and honest, and the total cost was more than fair. Thanks for getting us back on the road so quickly!

Drove 2 hours to look at a car for sale at this shop. The owner had reassured me several time the car was rust free as i told him i was bringing someone to look at it. When I looked at the vehicle, the frame was rotting away(enough to stick my hand through), both quarter panels were full of bondo and the car had an exhaust leak. Stay away.
Unfortunately I don't remember who picked us up for a tow, but he was awesome. Blew a tire an hour away from home and he towed us in horrible weather, kept us entertained on the ride back, and when we discovered upon arrival that the tire shop was closed, he dropped my car off at another place and took us all the way home. Nicest tow company I have ever had to deal with. I hope I never have to make use of their services again but if I do, at least I'll know I'm in good hands. Thank you!
I was stranded on I90 heading East when my car broke down. When I called the rude female who answered the phone refused to send a truck til I gave her a mile marker. I was just barely off the interstate with cars flying by I was not about to get out of my car. I explained I was heading East 54 miles from Buffalo, and had just recently gotten on I90 at the toll booth. As a former EMS/Fire dispatcher I was blown away that she didn't know her area enough to send a truck. She told me to call 911 and than I truck would be sent.
I waited 2 hours for a tow truck to show. The driver was very nice and actually took my daughter and I to Enterprise to get a rental car.
I called on Saturday morning to check the status of my car and was than informed the shop was not opened on weekends, which I was not told. I had expressed interest in being able to pick up my car on Sunday if I paid the repair with a credit card as I drove back to Ohio.
After receiving a quote from them to repair my car I was stunned $2,600 plus not including the $400 tow bill for 70 miles.
I had my car towed from them to a different shop, where my total bill including an additional tow and a national warranty was $1,900.00.
Maybe this shop is good at repair work but you have to get past a rude secretary and when that is the First Impression of a business it is generally my last!
