This is the worst place since fenix took over from grays. They don't give me an actual price on car, they'll tell you between this amount and that amount which is ridiculous. They don't ever answer the phone you leave a message and they don't call back for hours. I called Ben weitsman's they give me a price right over the phone no if and butts about it. So I recommend you go to weisman's don't take another vehicle to Gary's. just like fenix took over from Don's Auto. when finex took over they don't honor there warranty. If they do honor their warranty they shortchange you only pay part of the labor. so I definitely would not buy their labor warranty. they're scum they don't check out parts to Make sure they are good. They sell you junk parts so then when you put them in you're wasting your time and money and then a short change you on the labor fees they win win win. My suggestion is not to buy one part from finex ever.!
One of the best junk yards ya could go to. Helps they put the car online with vins. use a Vin decoder and know what's under the hood and trim style. Able to return parts if they don't work. Warranty is nice if buy engines or transmission. I've been to yards that charge more and don't take parts back.
Much better to just have a car crushed, they don't give enough money to even bother with. They just want a bunch of free cars. I'll never stop there again. Gary's was a Great Place, that ship sailed...

And there's a small bus that drives around that will pick you up take you to your car and pick you up and take you back
Disappointed with how Gary’s is run now. I requested a quote for a junk car sale with me dropping the car off. The car still runs and drives and the only issue is the frame is starting to rust out so it won’t pass inspection without major work. They offered $200. I then heard of an online company that would come to my house and tow the vehicle away called peddle. They offered me $500. I used to love going to Gary’s but things have changed, unfortunately it looks like I’m not the only one who feels that way from the recent reviews.
Definitely not what it used to be !!! When Gary's u pull it first open, prices were reasonable, no entry fees and there was a yard man to help. Now you have to pay $2 to get in, hope they have the part you need and when you go to ring it out, it's almost brand new price and they slap a 6 month warranty on it without even asking if you want one!! What kind of customer service is that??? I think you need better customer service, better comparative pricing and a better idea with your entry fee. And help in the yard for people that need the parts but don't quite know how to do it maybe then half the parts wouldn't be ruined by people
Wasted my time. I asked about a specific year and model and drove 1 hour to Binghampton after they confirmed they have the cars I’m looking for, only to discover that they actually lied. On top of that, the staff was slow. Customer service was low. They do have a huge variety of old cars though and the shuttle on the facility is helpful
Good if you know what you're looking for or need and have a good skills on how to do it been really picked over last few years not a lot to pick from prices have gone up quite a bit not as good of a deal as it used to be yard fee sucks but only recommend to come during sales really
Melanie is great to work with — knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. She made the process easy and handled everything quickly. You can tell she knows her stuff and cares about doing a good job always makes my day with jokes n smiles

I have been going to Gary's for over 40 years. I have never seen it the condition it is today!! Cars used to be sorted by make. Now they are mixed so you end up walking all around the yard for the same make. In between the rows it is littered with car parts. Toyota, Kia, Hyundai etc. Then the prices- that's another story! Internet shows 8 Corollas but I could only find 2.
I'm honestly impressed with how out of touch this company is. It's being taken over they have had price head over price hike. Today I called for four aluminum wheels. I wanted to check the price before driving there. Thank God that I did. The person on the phone told me that if it has a tire on it I have to figure out how to get the tires off or they're going to charge me for the tire. And if I take the tires off somehow they are going to charge me only $65 each. Yet they only pay about $400 for a car. I think people are tired of getting gouged to death and I can see them going out of business at some point soon. Just because they've expanded and gotten bigger doesn't mean people are going to foolishly give them whatever they ask. As it happens I googled and found out I can get brand new aluminum rims shipped to my door for $81.25 a piece and if I buy four I get a $50 gift card. So be wary buying here.
I used to love this place, then they got bought out, now their prices are absolutely outrageous, they have core charges on pieces of plastic just so they can charge even more for their overpriced parts, they have some items priced over what i could go on rock auto and buy the parts brand new and not have to pull the parts myself. Highly dissapointed with how much money they are trying to charge... blows my mind..
Made a deal to sell them my car And take the new tyres off when I get there they say I can take the tyres off gave me a number to complain to. Number not answered can’t leave a voice mail cause it’s full I loved Gary’s. These guys aren’t honest
Totally unimpressed with the service at this yard, came all the way from Scranton after I called and confirmed that the tires and wheels special was running, got there and they had no idea what were talking about said the sale was last week and the rims are now more expensive. Don't appreciate being baited and switched especially with the distance involved, decided to look for some other parts instead and there's not a whole lot left on their cars and they don't maintain the roads in between, my father who walks with a cane took a nasty tumble on the ice covered paths. And we ultimately left without buying anything cold and dejected. I think I'll be looking elsewhere for parts because the pricing is basically comparable to a normal parts store now anyway. Just not worth your time and energy.
I drove 270 miles each way from Long Island today to Gary's. I bought a bumper Cover , Brake caliper and 2 used tires. I paid Perry the older Man 206.00 . Fives minutes after I paid him 4 50.00 bills and a 5.00 dollar Bill and a Single , He told me I didn't give him a 50.00 ? He showed me 3. 50.00 Bills and Three. 5.00 Bills which I never gave him. He insisted I only gave him Three 50.00 Dollar bills . And three 5.00 bills . I paid him the other 50.00 but I know he robbed me. Next time I'm gonna make sure I pay him with a Debit card. The man robbed me. I didn't want to deal with the Police being from Long Island so I paid him. The man is nasty and senile and will Retire when the place closes in a few months. No more busses!! I'm in good shape I always walked. Alot of other people can't walk and carry parts due to Health problems. I'm coming to Gary's since 2009 and Fenix Ruined a Great Junk Yard. Please Fenix stay away from Harry's u pull it in Pennsylvania!!!!

Needed 4 rims to mount snow tires on.
It used to be one price for wheel and tire.
Now they charge for both

Now it’s well over 200$. For flat tire even
I didn’t need tires just rims. They charge for garbage tire and do not except tire returns if I dismount the tire . Unfortunately will not be back.
Oh and for the shuttle…. I had to lug all 4 tires up the hill from all the way back at the bottom of the hill. Yup won’t be back
I think the majority of the new 5-star ratings on this website is fake. This place has declined immensely. Prices are increasing quicker than the price of gasoline. I don't mind paying to get in, but the main issue arises when I have to pay more for a part than what the website price indicates. They will ask you to buy a warranty; when you refuse, they keep pushing. It's quite annoying. A big plastic bed-liner has no core charge, yet a little plastic cup holder has a two-dollar core charge. A quad window switch has a two-dollar core charge, but a dual window switch has no core charge. It doesn't make any sense. What's next? a core charge for the mud on someone's boots from the swamps in the yard. What also irks me is there are no pictures on their website or social media page, so you never know what condition their vehicles are in until you waste your time and gas going there. I swear, if there was a way to give zero stars, I would give them zero stars!

Been going to the Binghamton location since 1983. The employees seem to capitalize over the fact the site has gone corporate. Only help you get is after the fact. Very focused on not helping anyone. Buy a motor, you hook it yourself. The operator sits in the loader and won't even load it on your trailer. Get up to pay and they try to itemize starters and alternators. I was forced to remove both with absurdly no knowledge of mileage to the vehicle. I walk in with the 2 parts to return them and I am instructed to just toss them in the core charge barrels. Very bad environment. Not going to go back
Rob is the greatest employee at the business. This man single handedly was the greatest help and made my experience amazing. If you ever go there tell rob he’s awesome!
Was able to get the hose. I needed to fix my car. I have breaks again. Oh my gosh. Lost them on the highway the other day. Anyway, they have what you need. Usually you just have to find it. You got to kind of look. Dig around, make sure you bring your tools. Cause you have to retrieve the parts yourself. And it's a hell of a hill to go up after you're done. It's always easy to go one down. It's harder to go up with a cartfull grab. I also got a new wheel and tire over my car but. Panty parts are not just continued so present. I'm sure it will start anytime now. But thank you. Thanks to Gary's, I'm able to buy the parts I need. Thank you so much, Gary for being a chick. You make me feel right at home
I DO NOT RECOMMEND bad service call twice to verify the part and tell me if we have it but the same thing that you see in the interns, we see that but if we have the part because I travel from Newark NJ for two hours and forty minutes we arrive and when we finally get They attend, we went to look for the piece and I no longer had it, since it had been sold for a long time.The photo they have on the page and the other one when I arrived did not have what they TOLD ME ON TWO OCCASIONS THAT IF THEY HAD IT, I do not recommend it
You can most likely find any car part you would ever need at Gary's U-Pull-It. Make sure you're prepared and bring all the tools you're going to need to pull your own parts. Not all the vehicles here are totaled. Ask a employee about the stickers that identify a good motor or good transmission. Gary's is a great option if you would like to save a few dollars bye avoiding retail mark-up. If you have a junk car that won't run anymore they may come pick it up for you and obviously I'll give you more money if you Push Pull or drag it there yourself. Staff is very knowledgeable and there's even a bus to help you back up to the office after you find what you need.
