Fixed my vehicle for 1/3 of the price I was quoted by the dealership. I Highly recommend bringing your vehicle to this shop for quality and affordable work.
First off there customer service is bad I got a estimate and they said it would be $500 for a a/c recharge and the next day I took it in and 2 weeks later still no response I had to get a Uber to go there and pick my car up and the ac still did not work and he was trying to charge me $2000 for a Job not done and while I was in the shop I seen bugs crawling all over and the owner was yelling at people I am not sasfied with this shop at all I don't know how the city lets this shop up and running they need to shut that place down I am not happy with it
Codi fixed me up with a new heater hose and alternator in a timely manner. It's a very busy place but they make you feel like a person not just another number. Thank you Codi for helping me get back on the road. I appreciate the crew here and I will be a returning customer.
We have been using NY Auto Radiator for over a decade. Randy is the best- he's always quick to respond, fair with pricing and lets you know exactly what's going on. He also helped us when our daughter was buying a car- he looked it over, made sure no major issues before she purchased it. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a good mechanic!

I’ve brought my car to the guys here multiple times as I have a troublesome one. They listen to your concerns and stay mindful of your budget within reason. They do good reliable work. Most recently took my car in for a broken drive shaft and they finished it about two days before I thought it would be as I came with no notice. My car needs more work done and without doubt I will be returning to this shop.
What a gem. Honesty is key. Went in not knowing all that was needed and got everything done in a timely matter. Gas tank,muffler, bearings and an oil change and I left as happy as can be. Definitely be back for other things not major
I can’t say enough good things about this shop. Randy and Cody are completely honest and go out of their way to help people. They are efficient and dependable. It’s the only place that I take my vehicles. Would recommend 100%!!
Would leave 0 stars if I could! The owner Randy and owner’s son Cody do not honor their work or word. I took my car in and told them a/c is short cycling on and off. So they charged me $140 that day to refill my a/c then told me I’m good to go without even confirming that it was resolved. I got to my car and noticed it was doing the same and told them right away, I told them I didn’t appreciate being sent on my way just for you to collect payment without confirming the resolution. Randy the owner said he thinks it’s the expansion valve and said bring it back he’ll change the expansion valve for $200 and if it doesn’t fix it he won’t charge me. I drop the car off and then get a call a few days later that it’s done so I paid over the phone because I wasn’t able to pick the car up until after shop hours. Pick the car back up and it has the same short cycling problem, yet he wouldn’t refund me to honor his word. Cody said it’s leaking Freon and that he thinks it could be the a/c compressor. They just wanted me to pay them more money without caring to fix the problem that I went in for in the first place. I told them I don’t want to put any more money into it and would just like my $200 refund yet they refused to do so. So, stay away!! They’re only interested in collecting payment and sending people on their way!!!

This place is awesome! We had a blinking urgent engine light, and within a day, they fixed the issue at a cost! Cody was really honest about what we might need to look into for the future, and they did the job right!
Randy fixed my water pump and thermostat for 2/3 the price if the lowest estimate I could get. Got the car done in half a day. Completely fixed overheating issues. Car runs like new again. Randy chased me out side to say "if you have any trouble give me a call right away. My Cadillac DTS. Thanks Randy, you're the Best!
The owner and son need to get organized better by making appointments and ordering parts in a timely manner . They need to order parts correctly and get smaller jobs out quicker. They need a system to get things done in a timely fashion. Larger jobs people need to be informed better going to be a couple days. You don't need to take on new work when they're overloaded with jobs that have been there for days or weeks. They need to get an appointment book for work and schedule for service.
On my way home from Brooklyn to Toronto, my car broke down, and in a miracle, by some grace or faith, I managed to reach Randy’s shop. After all, the other shops in the area said they were too busy and couldn't take a last-minute repair. Randy’s kind heart and hard work got me able to be back on the road in time for a surprise birthday party! I couldn’t recommend this place more than all I just said. Let the work speak for itself when you get a fix by Randy!
If I could only go to one place to fix my car for the rest of my life, I would bring it to Randy. After a four hour drive from Brooklyn, my car started to smoke. Thank goodness the manager at my hotel directed me to Randy. He understood my urgency, and after showing me under the hood what was wrong, got his guys on it and it was fixed within hours. Unlike other auto shops, you don't have to worry about this place nickel and diming you. Randy is super busy and that would just be a waste of his time. The prices are fair and the job well done. I highly recommend!
Randy and his team are honest and have fixed my vehicle as well as my wife’s on countless occasions. I have gotten quotes from other dealerships for repairs and his price was always significantly lower (most times by half). We have always received invoices with an outline of the labor completed and we appreciate how quickly he gets repairs completed. We highly recommend taking your business to him.
Took the truck in for a fuel cooler leak, was quoted "under $500" explained I needed the truck by the end of the week for work, after multiple phone calls a 2 weeks of waiting Randy informed me my bill was $2000.
I never heard during the time they had the truck, that they where replacing the trans cooler, and all the trans lines, he claimed they leaked, yet the truck never used any trans fluid.
The front of the truck had a vibration and I asked them multiple times while asking when the truck would be done, for them to please inspect the front end, specifically the drivers side.
They claimed nothing was wrong. 1000 miles later, the frame is broke and the A arm is no longer attached.
The truck is junk, and not repairable.
I wouldn't recommend taking any vehicle to this place.
Great place to get your car fixed. Had an issue, went in to get it looked at, and was given a great number then and there. They set realistic expectations yet delivered beyond that. Great customer service, they definitely promote a friendly environment. 10/10 would recommend.

Quality work in a hurry. Great shop. Great owner. The office is one of the coolest I've ever seen. As soon as you walk in you get a good sense of their sense of humor and whos they are. Randy and the team are great. Both my wife and I have our cars serviced here. Thorough at identifying and fixing issues. And they don't try to sell you stuff you don't need!
We go there because Randy is honest and fair to his customers as well as pleasant. He really knows cars and always gets you in for whatever you need to be done on your car. Work is done in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are always extremely fair and you drive away knowing your car is fixed and fixed correctly.

I’ve gone to NY radiator over the years for many different services including inspection ,water pump, wheel bearing and brakes and each and every single time. I have had a good expierience. Randy and the other guys here are great and they’re fair. You can call around and compare prices because I’ve done it but Randy is the most fair! And I appreciate all the hard work and fair prices. Back in November we had car trouble as we were heading to visit family. We were driving from Virginia and started with our Jeep not being able to go faster than 40. We got to Binghamton and tried a dealership and they couldn’t help. Eventually we found a place to stay and we were telling the hotel person what was going on. A young gentleman named Cody said his Dad owned a garage and he could probably help. He called his Dad and my husband explained what was going on. The Dad (Randy), told us to bring our vehicle in the next day which was Saturday. He found the problem and had it fixed in 2 1/2 hours. It is nice to know there are still some good people around willing to help. Randy told us the cost and asked if that sounded fair. We couldn’t believe the low amount he was charging. We will be forever grateful for Cody and Randy. We are very blessed.

Pulled my car in exactly on time, had one concern that did not effect the inspection that they voiced to me and I was on my way in 15 minutes.

Randy is an honest guy and has a great personality. Will go out of his way to make sure you are satisfied. Keeps to a tight schedule as well, unlike many mechanics in the area, yet still finds a way to fit in good customers on short notice.
