After Val-U towing never showed up, I got in touch with my insurance company and they sent U-Save towing out to get my vehicle (flat tire, lug nuts were over torqued and stripped). Their ETA was 60 minutes after I called my insurance company. Not only did they arrive 25 minutes before their ETA, but Mark called to ask where my house was because his GPS was sending him back and forth. Turns out he was already in my neighborhood. He couldn't remove my tire, so I had to call Geico again so they could approve of the tow. Mark was very patient while waiting for me to deal with all of that and then loaded my vehicle up and left. He was gone before his ETA said he would arrive. Very friendly, helpful and it was a great experience all around. Would definitely recommend this company to family and friends.
Hot stuck in the mud with my pickup and a 27' travel trailer. Geico arranged for them to help me. They showed up on time, were friendly and professional and got me out of a bog in less than 10 min.

My alternator died in Binghamton and I had to get back to Utica. My tow truck driver was prompt, professional and friendly. He treated my Jaguar XF with care and he drove very well.
Not only has the worst customer service and rudest women working at the front desk but they have the most expensive rates for towing, if I could give them negative stars that's what they deserve. The employees are the most miserable, rude and dishonest people I've ever encountered. Save your money and time by calling Joes garage on Robinson street, or Rays garage!
If you need any records or documents on a vehicle that was there! Forget about it! They will advise you to seek legal council and then hang up on you. What a disservice to hard working people, Binghamton deserves better!

these guys are scammers. they inflate their prices to an absurd amount and then when you ask them for an itemized receipt, they start adding services you didn’t receive. dont let them touch your car.
Super friendly dispatcher! Our semi was stuck during a snow storm. They sent someone out and they arrived in 50 mins. Got us on our way quickly. Driver was also friendly. Definitely recommend!!
One of their trucks passed a line of traffic on i-88 during the snowstorm we had today and about 5:00 in the morning right before the i-88 i-81 junction. This individual had no mud flaps on their truck and blasted every single person in the traveling Lane with slush and ice all over their windshield blinding everyone. It nearly caused multiple accidents. I will definitely remember to never ever use this company if they're going to be so reckless with safety of random strangers on the road.
Wow. All I can say is I don't recommend this company. Have you ever heard of a Tow company say that "we wouldn't tow a car because it's to far away." Well you just heard it from me that U-SAVE Towing & Recovery refused to help me while I was broken down on the side of the road 10 miles away from them. I asked for it to be towed to Ford in Webster NY 141 miles away. Not to far and normally more distance means more money for them but I guess they rather not help their community when they break down on the side of the highway. They only take Job's that are easy and not far.
I thought Tow Companies make money off miles but I guess. Again I personally wouldn't recommend them due to the fact they probably won't help you.
The driver was driving like he worked for the law enforcement. Theirs other people on the road that are doing their job as well and you have to learn to share the road. If you are going to continue with this type of behavior or aggressiveness with your job responsibilities. You may find yourself in a situation where you should have thought about your actions before it becomes a problem that you might not be able to get out of. Remember your actions will cause a reaction. Seams like a case of work rage and you might want to get that taken care of before something happens.
These people are the worst and target college kids that already have financial issues. They go lot to lot looking for cars to tow. It should be illegal to do this! The car was left for maybe 4 hours, up to date on registration/inspection/insurance. Good forbid you decide to make the right choice after a night of drinking and leave your car in a lot that IS OKAY TO PARK IN THERE WAS NO SIGN saying otherwise! And these guys come and tow your car. They only accept cash and charge an arm and a leg to a college kid that doesn’t make a lot of money already and have student bills to pay! SHAME ON YOU I WILL BE REPORTING THIS PLACE TO THE BBB. You will be hearing from my lawyer.
2 times now have had to claim tow on my insurance in past 6 months and both times it was through this company. Both times were great, no problems and they come in a timely manner.
The guy that towed the car was good, and timely, car was towed away and that's that, next day the auto body shop calls me asking where the key to the car is because it's locked, I said it was given to the tow driver, I call the tow company office and spoke to an incredibly rude woman with no customer service skills and she said she spoke with the driver and he "locked the keys in the car", and said it like nothing was wrong with that, except how the hell is the auto body shop supposed to get into the car! I live 3 hours away so I had to priority ship the spare to the shop, hopefully this doesn't happen to you if you decide to use them
U-Save is absolutely amazing. Honestly some of the best people I've delt with in a long time. They were on top of everything, and did what they said they would, I couldn't be happier with my decision in calling them to tow my vehicle. Their understanding, kindness, concern and care is above and beyond what you see these days ( very refreshing) I can not thank them enough for everything they did and they way they took care of my vehicle while they had it. Not that i want to need a tow company again i mean who does right, but if I do I will 100% call U-Save!!!
Was profiled by the receptionist and accused of trying to commiting a fraudulent act because I called about information on renting a car for my wife. The reason my wife didn't call is because she's not allowed while working . This affected the car of my autistic son and we had to go rent a u haul van so my wife could get to work! How humiliating that was to her and our family!
I had my first flat ever in my life. I have roadside assistance so they called U-Save Towing and Recovery and they accepted the call. U-Save called me within minutes. That was great. I spoke to the driver, I wasn't sure where I was and if your ever in the Southern Tier, the exits on 86 are miles apart. I finally figured out where I was and he kind of knew. It would have been hard to miss. He told me he would be there in 35-40 minutes. (He would have been finished before I wrote this review) Then I received a call from my roadside provider asking if I canceled my service call?? Come to find out U-Save canceled the service call and never bothered to call me back to inform me they canceled. Now I'm waiting another 2 hours for someone else to help. I don't care what service you decide to provide, customer service goes a long way. Just a call back to let me know would have given you 5 stars. This is garbage. I called him back and the driver sent me to voicemail. He knew it was a trash move. Good advise, don't use U-Save. I would rather push my car.

Our 2-axel fifth wheel had a wheel literally shear off while driving on I-81. There was no way to attach our spare. Because all the weight on that side now rested on one tire, it was too dangerous to tow as is, yet too tall to put on a flatbed. AAA said, “Sorry, have a nice day!”
U-Save literally saved us! Jones figured out how to balance the weight on the good axel, and we slowly rolled to their repair shop. Jones had us back on the road by 4 pm the next day. When we saw the bill, it was so much lower than we feared.
Jones is our personal angel! Seriously!!Everyone at U-Save was easy to talk to and prioritized our needs. We can’t compliment them enough!!!!
One star is generous. Marissa demanded cash payment for ridiculous over-charges, and hung up when trying to settle up with a credit card. A $185 tow was 'CASHED' out at $660.00, after misc. predatory charges. Honest mistake by college kid, visiting out of town, and cost him a day of work because he could not recover his car on Sunday. Reported business. Not helpful, unless you have a blank check. Run.
Marissa and Team were awesome!! I was struggling through an insurance claim where someone fled the scene after hitting 2 of my parked cars and was really struggling to get information to make a claim on that person's insurance - Marissa went above and beyond to guide me through the process so that I didn't end up screwed. I will only be using them for my towing needs in the future! Customer Service there is unmatched!! Thanks so much for all your hard work U-Save employees!!!
For a prominent towing company as large as they are they could do a whole lot better for front desk help!! Nice entrance way and everything but I didn't feel greeted at all when I got there.It's like talking to the wall. I understand you can't release stuff to other people but you could take one second of your time to give information instead of the customer having to ask 50 questions to get the information he needs.
Or maybe helping with a solution or telling the customer the problem is already been solved.

My car was totaled in a accident and U-Save towed it to their shop. When I went to empty my vehicle, they were extremely kind, attentive, helpful, and professional. They made my task as easy as possible and I felt very comfortable. I'm grateful that they were the ones who picked up my vehicle. I do recommend them 100%.
After having an accident on a Friday at 5:00 pm 200 miles from home , I'm so grateful that U-SAVE towing picked up my truck and provided a rental car. They did all the repairs, bodywork, dealt with my insurance company and were just the most helpful HONEST people. I'm from NYC and honestly I was stuck in the middle of nowhere, no hotel , no big name rental companies. Ed and Marissa were so helpful, understanding and just there when most people would be like NOT MY JOB. Thank you to all of the people at U-SAVE. You are proof that there are Good People in the world.
Great service and experience. Requestied a tow through my insurance and U-SAVE was the responding organization. Amos came and when I explained what was going on and where the tow was needed to go, across the street, he used his critical thinking and problem solving skills to jump and get my car to the mechanic! He was friendly, professional and a great guy! It was not a long wait at all and I appreciated his calm, reassuring approach in a time I was anxious about my car!

A day after a 2020 winter storm U Save had a truck on the road hauling a vehicle in the Kirkwood area. As we passed each other on a bridge snow, ice and debris came off their snow , ice and debris covered truck and landed on my windshield. My windshield cracked immediately. I immediately called U Save and left a message with their 24 hour answering service. I never heard anything back so I called them on the next business day during operating hours and spoke with a employee name Rick who told me to bring the truck down so he could look at my windshield. He also told me to call before coming to be sure he was going to be there. After 3 phone calls to schedule a meeting with no success finally 6 days later I caught Rick at the U save location and had him look at my windshield which was cracked completely across from one side to the other. After climbing on my truck and feeling the crack and having another employee call the windshield repair company to find out the windshield ran about $400.00 he declined to do anything about the windshield. I am thoroughly disgusted with their business practice. I believe they should of taken responsibility for their truck on the road. And responsibility for driving the truck covered in snow, ice and debris. As I see it they strung me along for 6 days knowing full well they were not taking responsibility for their truck. They wasted my time for over and hour to go through the motions of "feeling the crack" which I feel was totally unnecessary. And just all a act!! (NOTE: When I left the message with the answering service I was specific on time, date and location so U Save would know fully well they had a truck in that location) I do not recommend anyone who can not take responsibility for their own actions. And will continue to let everyone know about their business practices.
I just had one of those days today! I needed roadside assistance TWICE for two different vehicles. They showed up twice and were GREAT both times. Rion showed up to help me get my SUV started because my battery was dead! He was on time, very polite, easy going and helpful. He gave me advice about what to do if the battery problems persisted. He also looked at my other vehicle and told me what the problem was and that me driving the car was unsafe for me. I had to make a second road side assistance call for the second vehicle. I can't remember the name of the second gentleman who came with the tow truck, but he was also on time, professional, polite and had no problem getting my car onto the back of the tow truck despite the cars issue and the fact that my street is a dead end hill and is usually a nightmare. I have had to get my cars towed several times in the last four and a half years and 99% of the time I deal with this company. Knowing that they are the ones who are being sent and at least I am dealing with trustworthy people. I would definitely recommend them! I appreciate you guys and your willingness to always come and rescue me!!
After being told they would be there within the half hour, I called back 35 minutes later and was told that they had rerouted the truck being sent to me somewhere else and that one would be there shortly for me. When the truck cake 10 minutes after that, he was confused as he had been told the wrong make and model (despite my having given this info to the dispatcher). He also quickly determined that my battery was dead (not surprising given that I had told the dispatcher my car would not even try to start), told me he did not have the equipment but would be back in 5 minutes with it. Another 30 minutes went by before he returned, jumped my car, and then charged me only $5 less than the price I was quoted to have my car towed to my preferred shop. Would have saved lots of time had he just towed it there...also would not have had to make a pregnant woman sit in 88 degree weather for over an hour. I would not plan to use again or wish such an experience on a friend.
Great Service and comparable pricing. $50 hook up with $5 per mile. The gentleman that came to rescue me when I was broke down during rush hour was exceptional even after I confused him on where exactly I was located. He was friendly, polite and showed concern for me by assuring me he would be there shortly and not to worry because he would find me. I waited 45 minutes which I consider reasonable in their profession. I couldn't thank him enough for getting me and my vehicle safely home. I will be sure to use U-Save for my vehicle emergencies in the future. Great Job!
