I had went to weisman before this and omg they were horrible. They just pointed to me where i should go but didnt explain what i had to do . So i left and went to this place but this was my first time scraping anything so I was lost. The lady in the office explained in detail what I had to do so I appreciate that .
Great folks, the machine was efficient, the workers were helpful, the money was good. None of the whining about a little beer still in the can, just straight to the point. The 6 cents per bottle isn’t half bad either.
So I got a flat tire in the yard an todd the owner says can't be from here are yard is clean swept everyday very arrogant it was on my brand new truck 400 dollar tires
Negative stars this owner was a jerk he flipped out on me when all I tried to tell them that their was to much weight in the nose of trailer . Sent me away empty bad business man
Love this place! Workers are friendly and the big recycling machines are so nice. They didn’t even get angry when I accidentally put a bottle or two in the can and bottle machine!!
I've come in before on Saturdays before and there's always a wait so I came in on a Tuesday. I left after 25 minutes of sitting in my car, as did everyone who came in behind me. There was a line of cars waiting to pull up and park but every space was occupied by pickup trucks that never moved.
I tried Greenblott over a local scrap competitor that is closer to my house but I couldn't go back because I was always treated like I stole everything I had. I was pleasantly surprized at the prompt and courteous service. I left with a good price and not feeling like a criminal.
In the past few months I have stopped 3 or 4 times a half hour before they close and the guys refuse to wait on you they tell you their closed as their all sitting there. Very discouraging.
Great place to take back returnable cans and bottles, the automated machines are convenient and time saving. Just dump them in the hopper, and the machine does the rest very fast. The owner is a good guy, very willing to make right of any mishaps.
Office worker would not pay the proper amount because she said she didn’t see what I brought even though they have everything on camera so I would recommend not using them for scrapping if you want to get the proper amount
Well, it's normally a very simple process to recycle metal. At Greeblott they take that simple process and make it take much longer than needed. It feels like an eternity waiting on the scale to be weighed. This has been the same way everytime I've been there. When is finally time to pull off the scale and unload it seems like there would be someone to direct you as to where you should put the metal but there's not. What I had to do was get out of the truck go inside and ask someone witch pile I should use, then I only had to wait another 15 minutes for the worker to move his truck out of the way so I could get to the area. Altogether to return to bags of can and bottle returns, and unload my scrap it was almost an hour total. I'll try somewhere else next time ,see if I can save on time.
They do NOT unload anything for you and they WILL NOT SORT your bottles and cans like the Website states.They are liars and wasted my time. I went to the CAN man.
This place is the Best!! The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The owner... Fantastic!! We were in and out of there in less than 20minutes, we had alot of bottles.Thank You all for such a pleasant experience!! This is our new recycling center.
They stole 200 bottles from me!!!! I always count my returns and maybe I possibly could be off on the count but not more than 10 out of 745! They counted 545! Damn thieves!
Bottle and can return is best in town... Fast and efficient large counting machines with a pleasant staff... Also 6cents on returns when you take your bags and boxes home
Easy to get to from Court St. Typically a recycling place for looks. The can and bottle section is always busy but when there's a backup, they bring more people out and get it done.friendly staff and labor's.
Have zero complaints about this place. I was up visiting my parents in NY a few years back. Had to get rid of some old steel 8 foot light fixtures, other scrap metal. Took it all here. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Guy there helped me unload it all. I was not looking to profit, but I walked away with a few dollars. I gave that to my nephew.
My first experience with Greenblott metal company was so so. First let me start with the arrival process the entrance is not obvious even though there is a large sign. You pull on a scale and proceed onto a property with no clear direction on where to proceed next. There was no workers in site so i parked and went searching. First the counter on the left no one there. Second office thing no one there but there was a unsecured shotgun sitting against the wall. Third finally see a sign down the Cora door that say office.
When i got to the office i had to ask where anyone was. When unloading my metal i was asked to assist in the loading and unloading of the scale. I was a little taken back since I'm not the worker. The pricing was average at best. I don't feel like a got 100% the best payment for what i brought but it wasn't horrible. They did pay cash for what i brought which is a plus.
I don't plan on another visit after this i don't feel confident and it seemed like a lot of hassle to get in and out.
I was quoted one price and they failed to honor it after I had dissembled over 180 blinds and unloaded. They claimed it was a once in 5 year situation, but in my mind that should not make a difference. They should honor the price or listen more carefully.
I spoke with the owner to let him know to avoid this happening in the future but he did not think it important. He offered to return the metal so I could go somewhere else, but that wasn't the point of me talking to him.
I should give the company a better review but if the owner's mentality is to wait until someone takes hours to separate metals because of one price given but fails to honor it. I think that is very important to warn others.
I got here right before they were supposed to close & I had a lot of different scrap. The owner was extremely helpful & actually helped me sort my copper which ended up putting a few extra bucks in my pocket. Will definitely be doing business with them again!!
