Very bad experience with the guy behind the counter name Jay! He's cursing at customers, not explaining what parts your getting in details when customers asked questions about the parts being ordered, just Very disrespectful man, me and my friends was about to spread the word about this location for parts needed because it was new to us and we always buying parts from the dealership or auto zone, but the encounter we had with that guy Jay this place would never get support from our car club of 50 plus members, we will deal with our dealership, auto zone until we come across a business that has good customers service and respect customers money and time waiting to place an order. Who ever the owner or manager reading this you really need to check your employee Jay very unprofessional, disrespectful to customers, if your ordering parts from this place Goodluck with that we are moving on.
I specifically asked for a benz steering colum because i broke my gear shifter. Showed me a wrong part and charged me before i could even see it. Waited more than 2 weeks for refund and only got the paper stating the issued the refund. They never even initaite the refund although i never left the store with anything
I called to talk to someone about parts when they found out I was calling in my own and wasn't a mechanic the lady hung up on me and every one else is rude
Rude and unprofessional in the warehouse. They close their gates at 4 even though they say 5pm closing. The people and place has an order as well. I would go to Alex Auto Parts instead
If they could have zero stars they would get it they say they have policies that they never enforced they pick and choose when they want to enforce rules you've never heard of! And they don't check parts before they give them to u so u might get the wrong part! Horrible service

After being put on hold for 5 minutes, the lady who picked up decided to hang up on me instead of trying to understand my confusion. Horrible customer service.
I went to get my car dashboard fixed and this was the place that had the part for my car. Then after my car was fixed and I visited the place to see about other parts. There was a line to speak with someone about the part needed and they were nice. They do have a parking lot to wait in buts only for people who already have tickets waiting for there part to come out the wearhouse.
Trash service sent me the wrong computer then gave the run around until it was to late to return said wrong part. U guys are a joke ur trash company trash parts trash customer service all around worst place to get parts from now I'm out $200 and I have a $200 paper weight now
This company sold us an engine that was not compatible with our family car.. Wyeb we explained the issue, they then offered another part to fix the issue.. We ordered the part.. and they sent the WRONG ITEM..!!!! Now they tell us they don’t have the part needed and refuse to take back the engine because they said we had it for longer than 30 days… We had it this long because THEY TRIED TO SELL US DIFFERENT PARTS and we had to wait 2 weeks to get each part sent to us.. We have racked up storage fees due to us trying to work with this SCAM COMPANY…!!!! This company is a TOTAL SCAM..!!! DO NOT USE THEM… !!!
This company also sold us an extended warranty on the part.. but had NEVER sent us the warranty paperwork.. We have called at least 10 times and each time, the way guy says he’s gonna email the paperwork and to date we still have NOT received anything…
Terrible service these guys are selling parts to people with warranty’s but do not want to help you if the part happens to be defective I just bought a part and I never had so much people lie to me and hang up on me because I’m letting them know that their part was defective unacceptable customer service
For me to buy here for the first time , the experience was not pleasant. The fact that a worker Armando to feel the need to say a response that “I do not need to buy anything here,” is not what a person should say working customer service. I was waiting for a receipt to be printed in order to pick up a product I already paid for. Armando’s response to my frustration of the wait time was, they can reverse the payment. I want my product at a timely fashion. Not a negative feedback from a customer service rep. I believe your business is running because of paying customers, not the workers. But the products I ordered are great for a good price. Thank you!
Horrible place. Used to be good not anymore!! They pretty much legally rob you here. Won't have the pieces after you paid then they wanna write you a check after they take your cash for the wrong parts they didn't have!!! DISGUSTING PLACE WITH DISGUSTING PEOPLE TO SERVE YOU!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! They got my order wrong twice. Then they say it's my fault, And even tho I paid cash for my part ,I have to get a check back. So not only was I given the wrong piece but then they made me pay more for the correct piece that never was wrong again. Labeled incorrectly and the wrong piece again,Then I have to walk out of there with no cash, no parts, and wait for a check. If that's not a legal stick up what is????? Bought a warranty on my transmission purchase. Transmission was defective and they did get me another one but left me to pay for second installation which should have been covered in my parts and labor agreement. Weeks of run around and yeh yeh yeh! Very frustrating experience!
These guys gave me the wrong headlight, then ordered the right one and charged me more, and it was broken! The body shop wanted payment for their work regardless and LKQ REFUSED to reimburse me, even though they were at fault both times! TERRIBLE Shop
The prices this place charges is insane!! Do your homework and check around, you will find a better price guaranteed I did. Example. 2011 Forester used engine $6000 ??!!! Many places around not taking advantage of people who are looking to put their car back on the road. Found the same thing for $3500 with half the miles. Do yourself a favor and look around !!!
Everyone is super cool and friendly, especially the cashier. Warehouse guys are nasty and have lots of attitude for no reason but front end makes up for it. I called and spoke to a female that was super kool and nice but when I arrived I had manny . Dude was 10/10 will definitely recommend and return .
Also just to mention my part is sold out and back stocked all over even in other states u name it I called it ... even Amazon let me down 😂. But they got it for me was told a few days .. happily waiting !!
I order auto parts from dozens of dealers and after market suppliers daily. LKQ is one of the worst. I was told I would have a part within 3 days. Well, 10 days later, after daily calls with no help, the customer rep said it's sitting in the warehouse still. Finally it shows up but they won't give me the part because our tax forms need to be updated. So I provide them the forms and they say the name of my shop on their end is wrong but they can't update it so they can't leave me the part. Not helpful!

Honestly I only selected 1 star because 0 is not an option. I have never experienced such terrible service from any company or establishment. I would expect this kind of service from a LOW CLASS FAST FOOD Place, I called to ask 2 questions, if they had my part instock and if there was anyway I could pick it up today. After calling and being placed on hold for an hour with no response. I hung up and tried to call again. Once again I am placed on hold another 30min go by and finally a young lady answers to help me with my needs.the questions I had were very simple and could have been answered by anyone. As to why I needed to wait over an hour and a half to simply ask is mind boggling. It’s not fair to waste peoples time because of terrible management……FYI they have my parts instock and I will STILL be going elsewhere to do business.
Our company has been dealing with LKQ for about 20 years, and almost never had any issues until last year and this year. They insist on selling you a 1-year parts & labor warranty, which is amazing, UNTIL YOU NEED TO USE IT. They look for any way possible to NOT PAY YOU YOUR LABOR (By the way, only up to the amount of the price of the part) and on top of that, MAKE YOU PAY FOR THE DEFECTED SWAP PART! So now, you have your customer angry that they had to come back to have it replaced, and you've got your supplier giving you the shaft, AFTER YOU GAVE THEM ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR A PARTS & LABOR WARRANTY! They keep asking for money AND THEN MAKE YOU WAIT YEARS TO PAY YOU BACK FOR THE LABOR OR A RETURNED DEFECTIVE PART! TERRIBLE B2B transactions, the company got too big and now only cares about the bottom line and no more about account relations. Will not recommend; will no longer be requesting their services.
Only reason why I’m giving 3 stars is because some of the workers in there are NOT honest with the prices.. they constantly change prices and try to make a quick buck off of you if you are not on point. You’ll probably casually pay 700 for a part when someone else paid 300 for it.. BE CAREFUL
Purchased a transmission for my VW JETTA and it didn’t work, but they sent a new one to me a few days later and paid for most of the reinstall labor to the mechanic. Very happy with the service. Jay Hernandez is great & very helpful!
Great customer service both on the phone and in person. I wanted to pick it up, but they do deliver. Prices were very good. BUT, if u want urgent GPS to take u to the right location type in the actual address to avoid being sent to Bathgate Ave their old address which they have not updated on Google.
Got a used AC compressor at a great price here. Had it installed by my mechanic about a week ago and it's working great. LKQ has a ton of used parts, and what they don't have at the warehouse, they find elsewhere, usually within a day. My problems with the place were pretty mild. When you first walk in, you have no idea where to go, there are just a bunch of people sitting behind three different counter sections, with no signs pointing you one way or another. All the employees are on headsets making and receiving calls, possibly personal calls, possibly not, who knows, a few had cell phones out. Just go bother one of them, that's what I had to do to get service. Regardless of that, the employees seemed good at what they do, both my visits were barely over 5 minutes long, and I got what I needed.
I work for a charter bus company and needed to order Volkswagen parts for my employer's family vehicle. Our body guy who owned his own shop for 20 something years has worked with these guys and recommended them. A bit apprehensive dealing with a used parts place, I was thoroughly impressed. Jose the rep was helpful, and the delivery guy Luis was amazing. The parts were quality, came very quickly, and were about 1/3 of the price of what we would have paid new from the dealer. The whole process was very easy and quick.
