Cannot recommend these guys enough! They are very communicative, transparent with pricing ahead of time, and have never had an issue identifying whatever strange noises my car decides to make. I have gone to them for pre-sale car inspections, worn serp belt, brakes, rotors, and miscellaneous rattling noises under the hood and have left satisfied every time. They are a smaller garage so every once in awhile I’ve had to wait a bit, BUT they’re always apologetic about it when it happens and let me know how long it will be. Usually I drop off overnight the day before and wait for a call. If you’re looking for a mechanic you can trust - especially as a woman - they are the one.

Had a slow leak in one tire. Booked an appointment same day as my call. Was seen on time. Tire was repaired within 15 minutes. Very reasonable charge for service. Highly recommend.

These guys saved me. My car stopped working on the 11th hour of my 14 hour drive. Despite them being extremely busy and backed up, they took a look at my car first thing in the morning, was extremely kind and even took the time to keep me updated and explain to me what was went wrong. They were knowledgeable with that they were doing and sweet to my noisy barking dogs. To top it all off, they weren't even going to charge me but I paid them anyway. I wish they were in my home state so I can use them as my mechanic. I would give more than five stars if I could. I can see why the tow truck driver took me here and why they have such loyal customers. Thanks again to the kind mechanics at this location. You are appreciated.

They have been nothing but amazing when I have gone to get my inspection, tires looked at, or installing parts. I had a leak in my tire and they took care of it quickly. The guy at the front is always so sweet and explains everything. Just make sure to make an appointment because they’re always busy due to their clear trust by the community.

Absolutely incredible service! Wheel noise and vibration started the day prior. Called dealership, they could see us in 2 weeks, called Glenmont Family Auto and was told to swing by that afternoon. They tossed it on a lift, diagnosed the problem as loose/faulty lug nuts, didn’t have any on hand, but directed us to a place we could get replacements. We got the replacement parts they bolted them on and sent us on our way. This place was phenomenal all the way around.

Had a flat tire got me in and fixed in 5 mins didn't even try to charge me because of the emergency. Still offered some cash for lunch. Highly recommend

I went here twice for some repairs for my car and I have to say they are the sweetest and most efficient people ever. I will recommend to them to anyone!

A++++ - Amazing customer service. My car was towed to the Glenmont shop after I popped a tired on the way to work. Matt's customer service was extremely welcoming and transparent. He even checked out a code for me on my car before I drove off. I would highly recommend LaBarge's (Glenmont AND Latham).

One technician even mentioned some slight concern on my tires in which I was aware and gave advice. It is nice to see the genuine care the techs have at this shop. 10/10, thanks guys, much appreciated.

My tire blew the day before thanksgiving. They took me in right away, I wasn’t even sitting in their shop 15 minutes and my new tire was already on. Very kind, and worked so quickly! I would highly recommend this shop, and will definitely be returning. Thank you so much! :)

very helpful and reasonably priced . had a screw in a tire and they fixed it very fast and even put the tire stuff I had out back well in with the spare . I very much recommend this place.

I have never met more honest mechanics in my life! They never cease to amaze me! Always kind, explain things in detail and if something needs work but not necessarily immediately they never try to make you feel like it’s urgent if it’s not. I will NEVER EVER go anywhere else! Young Tom LaBarge is the BEST EVER!!

I made a last minute appointment to have my tire looked at because it was making a high pitched noise and smelled like burning metal. My brakes and rotors were recently changed (not at this garage). They put my car up on a lift and even test drove it for me to determine the source of noise. It was determined that the source was likely dust or debris from the new brake pads wearing in. Excellent service and would absolutely return.

Can't say enough good things about this place! We were on a road trip from Rochester NY, heading to a soccer tournament, when we suddenly got a flat tire. We found this shop, and they were super accommodating with our tight time frame! They got us right in, fixed the tire, and we were back on the road in no time. 10/10 highly recommend. They are fair and helpful. If we ever break down again, I hope it's right around the corner from this shop.

I came here for an oil change and a tire rotation, I got there at 3:20pm and was gone by 3:50pm! These guys were super fast and did an amazing job! I got there a little early at 3:15 to be exact but at 3:17 my car was already in the shop. They also checked and topped off all the fluids to the car and checked my brakes for me as well. ALL within about 20 mins. Excellent customer service and Excellent servicing! I will 1,000% be coming here from now on for any vehicle repair needs! Thanks again guys!

Saturday morning, 7:30 am, tire pressure idiot-light comes on. Pulled off the side of 9W in Glenmont. Tire nearly flat, but still drivable. Pulled into the parking lot at Labarge. They weren't even open yet. Took me right away. Found a roofing nail on the tread. Tire plugged and on my way in 15 minutes! The guys that work Saturdays are the BEST!

I’ve gotten multiple tires mounted, dismounted, balanced, alignments, and brake jobs done. They’re a very busy small business but always do their best to get you in and do great work. They also stand by their work and with any issue comes a resolution. I had a balance/ Alignment job done that didn’t feel right. They got me ASAP and fixed it fast, free of charge or delay!!!

I have had this team work on my truck several times. Each time they quickly identified the issue and completed the repairs at very reasonable costs. They even talked me out of more expensive repair options that I was considering. The repairs have been done in a very professional and efficient manner. It is good to have a local repair shop that is highly ethical and efficient.

This is a great place to get tires or mechanical work done. Frankie and Tommy are excellent and honest. Their prices are good. Have never had any issues with anything they've done! Highly recommended, especially if you're looking for good, honest mechanics! Been coming here for years.

We’ve been going to La Barge’s in Glenmont for over a year now, from getting state inspections done to having entire parts of our car fixed and replaced. The guys who work there are absolutely amazing and always have an answer to what the problem is. They’re always quick and efficient and have great customer service. We recommend them to everyone we know and we will always be only using them for anything to do with our vehicle! Thank you guys for all of your hard work!

Just had a Christmas miracle at this place. Seriously they were amazing! I had bent a rim on a terrible pot hole and was sure I would need to buy a wheel and a tire. They were able to bend the wheel back and save the tire. They have always been kind and quick and I have been going here for a couple of years. But today they really helped me out. As a working single mom I was really worried about this breaking the bank before Christmas. They fixed everything very quickly and at the end said don’t worry about it! Absolutely restored my faith in humanity. Solidly recommend!

This place is the best. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and do a great job with quick turn around time. Above all, they are trustworthy and honest about the nature of the work that needs to be done, which is not always easy to find in the auto repair business. Pricing is very fair and they stand by their work. I’ve had routine maintenance and repair work done on my car here a couple of times now and I’ll definitely continue to bring my car here.

I can't recommend La Barge's highly enough. I almost hate to write a review because I want to keep them as my secret gem, but they deserve every star they get. We've been taking our cars to La Barge for many years, and they provide excellent service every time. The mechanics at La Barge are knowledgeable and honest. They tell us what we need, but also what we *don't* need. If my tires don't need rotating, they won't rotate them. I never worry that they're going to upsell me or charge extra for repairs that are unnecessary. And, the guys at La Barge are courteous, kind, and generous with their time. We feel fortunate to have them in our community.

Saw the good reviews on here. Went myself for an oil change (synthetic), inspection and tires. Cost was reasonable, Tom (the owner) was super friendly and informative about the tire options. They have a great in-shop warranty on their tires. The synthetic oil change was $15 cheaper than the one I got earlier this year up in Waterford. Highly recommend. Updated - Went back 9 months after I bought my tires, there was a puncture in one, they fixed it for free. Great place!

I was treated very courteously in this my first visit. Tom showed me the problem with my tire and was not just out to make a sale. Service was surprisingly quick and efficient. I ended up getting two tires because the price was reasonable. A real gem on 9W.
