Michelle in Catskill advanced goes above and beyond to be helpful and make sure you have what you need my visit here was great she fixed a problem another store had finding the right part for us while everyone's computers were down

We went in late it was almost close she was super friendly and had things fixed in no time
I can't say enough about the entire team currently working here. From the manager on down, everyone is pleasant, helpful, and extremely understanding. I rushed to return a car seat cover since I thought I had to get turn in in that day. There was an issue pulling up my account but they said not to worry and just come in when I was feeling better due to ongoing health issues. Finally returned the item and didn't realize I left the headrest on the backseat. I brought it back the next day. No questions why. The young lady with the glasses working 29MAR before closing didn't ask me any questions. She just sincerely thanked me for coming back to bring it in. I expect to have a negative experience once and a while no matter where I go given the times. Having been a captain in the Army, I hold managers responsible for how well trained employees are and my hats off to the manager at this location. I'd rather pay a little more and purchase things here when they have what I want because I am loyal to places who treat their customers well (although they are competitively priced). Anything they don't have I can usually get at Harbor Freight conveniently located next door lol. Thanks again to your entire team!
Came in to buy oil and a K&N filter acouple weekends back for my civic Si and the salesman Steve was very helpful but pulled the typical salesman routine on me and recommended buying the (fram) oil filter so me trusting his word I bought one and the seals must of been shot because I had oil all over the ground because of it so I wanted a refund on the filter and the 5 quarts of oil I wasted because of that filter and Steve said I would of had to contact the manager in order to get a refund on the oil saying even though he recommended the filter it wasn’t his fault I still went and bought it (unprofessional) so I contacted the east glenville advanced and they gave me a full refund on the oil and the fram filter no questions asked I don’t know why this location gave me a problem
I came into the shop looking for a new screw for my key fob. The original one had become quite weathered and was stuck in the fob, yet failing to keep the back attached so I was constantly risking that falling off and losing the battery as well. Steve was immediately the biggest help I could’ve asked for! I had already been to 3 other shops looking for help with this, but Steve actually took the time to come up with a solution for me. Thanks to him my key is in much better shape, I simply couldn’t have asked for better and more caring help! Very quick minded and intelligent, I appreciate it deeply :)
This place seems to have no inventory and the staff seems to be spread too thin and overworked. The last two times I’ve ordered, I’ve been notified that the order is ready for pickup only to go there and find part or all of my order was cancelled.
I want to thank Frederick and the team at this Advance Auto Parts location for their friendliness, knowledge and good customer service last week! I visited them after a horrible experience trying to get my car inspected at a nearby car dealership, and they were helpful in helping me get what I needed done promptly and affordably. I will be back!
Mark was a tremendous help in the process of finding the car part that I needed. I received the parts I ordered online in less than 2 days, whereas other stores I called said they would have my part in about 1-2 weeks. Very fast service, excellent employees who go above and beyond; especially Mark. He explained everything he was doing and did so politely and enthusiastically. He is a great asset and I will definitely be purchasing from Advance Auto again in the near future.
I called this place and it says that this is UPS location store. I asked the employee to confirm if this is advanced auto parts. He hanged up on me . I called again to confirm. He hanged up again. What kind of employees do you even Have they can't simply answer? Yes. This is Advanced auto parts but they show their arrogance. They are so disrespectful shame on this place will never shop in my life again
I was standing to pay for my items while one salesman was on speaker phone and the other was eating a snack. Waited 5 minutes no one said anything to me so I walked out and will never go back. This was Colonie store in strip mall
The store manager never enters speed perks number when making a purchase - strange. He also denies you your warranty for the part that failed citing every excuse. The only logic coming from this behavior is that he warrantees parts out with his circle of scammers and partners in crime trying to avoid corporate red flags. He denies decades long customers something they were reliant on - honesty and good will customer service.
Everyone was very helpful but Allie especially went above and beyond to help me find what I needed and gave me instruction on how to properly handle the part that I purchased
The management team at the Colonie, NY location provided friendly customer service in assisting with a core charge return of a starter for a Silverado truck.
I stopped in to buy some Motorcraft transmission fluid I found listed online by Advanced Auto $9.99/qt. Grabbed what I needed off the shelf, brought it to the counter and it rang up $1 more per quart than advertised. I asked the cashier if they price matched themselves lol he replied "our website price? nah." I said good you can keep it and walked out. Made my purchase directly across the street at Autozone as their $9.99/qt website price matched the in store price. If it didn't match I'm sure they would have been happy to price match. What a clown show at Advance Auto.

I like the perks that they send me to my email and for the most part people are very friendly and helpful although I did have a cancelled order somehow that I did not cancel but they gave me a $20 perk I just have to spend a certain amount to use it
Had a great time talking with Aaron talking about some tricks fixing a code I've been fighting in my car for months P0420. He sold me a few metal pieces and a 02 sensor. IT WORKED! He saved me over a 1000 bucks. Gained a customer for life. You want knowledge and insight? Talk to AARON. He was super busy (apparently does commercial parts) and had time return a core I had sitting around forever and to walk me through the repairs I needed. Thank you so much see you soon!

Very unpleasant experience. I bought an item that I ended up having to return and the sales associate Josh was very rude to me. They have no customer service skills. Go to auto zone or Napa. Don't waste your time here.
