First of all, I had called prior to me showing up to make sure that the battery I needed for my car was available and the “free install” service would be provided. Once I got there mechanic started project and then proceeded to show me how to do some of it and left all his tools with me and basically had me do it myself and didn’t come back until mid to late install to finish helping and didn’t even know how to change the battery for my type of car and complained the whole time. Front desk lady was sweet the only reason I gave 2 stars.

truly terrible customer service. no communication, hardly try to get parts in a timely manner. we order tens of thousands of dollars of parts from venders every month and this place is our last resort because of how truly awful they are to deal with.

Yesterday I went to 3 auto parts stores to find a hub seal for our camper. The last was Advance and the fellow who helped me was awesome. He cross referenced what we needed on Google and was able to find a part that matched ours. I wish I had his name. What a great guy. We were up and running in no time!!! Thank you soooo much.

Good customer service, and most things are reasonable, but they quoted me $511 for a clutch kit. It's $80 on eBay and $109.99 at AutoZone

The delivery driver Greg from the Santa Fe New Mexico store is top notch. He is great at his job and is all about business and always conducts himself in a joyful manner. As a service advisor at a local shop I know I can alway depend on this store to come through.

Heat help battery and fuel issue. Above and beyond the call of duty. I want a supplement what I said above. Josh, the general manager of the Advanced auto parts store in Santa Fe, spent more bthan an hour conducting diagnostic tests with sophisticated diagnostic tools, looked up the error codes produced, and then one by one addressed those that he was able to address and fix. He went out of his way to ensure that he had done all that he could to help me at no added cost. Even though I had gone in with the primary purpose of buying a new battery, he was cautious about encouraging me to do that until we verified that the old battery was in need of replacement. In other words, he made no effort to push the hard sell at all.. After replacing the battery, he then synchronized the code as required, carefully Greased the Battery post, shimmed to one of the terminals, All the while Explaining what he was doing, and why. For me, it was a highly extraordinary and generous effort on his part to help me out. You can be sure I will be going back To Advanced auto parts in Santa Fe for all my needs that they fulfill. I’ve had great experiences with lots of folks over the years in the way of customer service; I cannot remember a better experience than this one, it was terrific.

The shopping experience is decent enough as the staff are very nice. I totally understand that there is work in the back warehouse that always needs to be done but it's weird to stand at a counter for 5 or 10 minutes and have up to 5 or 6 staff walk up to the counter and into the back without a single one of them saying hello or offering to help.

2nd time buying products from Advance Auto Parts, the customer service is on point!! 1st time Josh the manager help me install a battery and this time around Johnny offered to install my headlights! They have an awesome crew! Will be back!

Sold me the wrong parts, didn't fit my truck, 2 1/2 hrs away and when I tried to return them 1 week later said they had no record of my #. Never go there!¡!!!

I had bought a power steering pump for my truck, found out it wasn’t going to work for my truck. Thankfully for the manager Josh he was able to help me out quickly and efficiently with all my parts needs.

Horrible. The most bizarre experience of my life. From ordering the completely wrong replacement part, giving the wrong information on when the part would be in to pick up. And just being around the strangest most rude unhelpful automotive counter employees I have witnessed in my life. Wow! I was not only disappointed but also terrified. The guys that work at Advanced Auto are beyond strange. They all appeared to be on drugs. Then this young little woman comes into the store after driving what appeared to be her personal vehicle some big older SUV gets out goes behind the counter snd just starts punching on the computer keyboard. She had the same strange look on her face as the 2 other weird looking guys that were working that evening around 5:15pm I witnessed one of the guys, the little skinny guy the one smoking outside the entrance when I got there…anyway i was at the counter trying to inquire the status of arrival of the replacement part Zi had ordered, payed for etc. Dude walks up to the register as he mumbled something to an older gentleman of Spanish descent who’s English was poor and somewhat broken. The gentleman was attempting to try and ask a question but the employee could have cared the less. He just began scanning the items and continued the checkout process. I could see the customer was annoyed by this employee’s odd behavior. As I watched & observed this very peculiar Auto part store…same time I was trying to hold my cool in regards to continued nonsense and uneducated behavior by the other strange Big older employee-waiting and waiting on this fool to go to the back to find his coworkers to provide him with the answers to the questions I was inquiring regarding the delivery details for my PAID order. After all that unnecessary nonsense and having to be in that store around those creepy employees, ugh still don’t get the right part for my truck this was 4 days later. When initially the only reason I went there was because the price was substantially lower than AutoZone & O’Riley’s Definitely NOT the same part I ordered. The experience was horrifying. I wasn’t even able to get my receipt from that scary guy because while taking my order and checking the computer he got so shaky and had a disgustingly constant runny nose and was such a mess. He couldn’t even order the correct part. My only reason for going was after i was informed by a manager earlier that day when I called who said the part was in stock in Albuq but could be ordered and in SF the following morning. This strange creepy employee was so frazzled by my replacement part request that he continuously kept grabbing and crumbling the receipt papers that printed each time he was attempting to check the item location. Idk, then after i made the mistake of paying for the part order he says he couldn’t print out the receipt anymore but I would get my actual receipt when I picked it up. He said all i had to do was give them my phone number to locate the order. I was extremely tired after working all week and them especially after the strange 1 1/2 hour experience, I trusted him and wanted to just get home. The following day I call the store and the guy of course wasn’t there that day and he didn’t even put in the order. No record no receipt no nothing. What a nightmare, finally got a part although it was totally the wrong replacement part and at that point i just demanded a refund. I couldn’t take anymore of anything in that terrible Auto Part Store. Highly NOT recommend and spare yourself the trouble and traumatic experience. Oh my gosh! Disastrous

Very dissatisfied. I went in to order a piece for my car and saw a female staff member a the counter and a male staff who was closing the door at exactly 5:55pm. I put myself in front of the door and he open it to tell me they are closing, so I ask if I could order my piece. The male staff member TOLD ME “ We are closed,” I told him it was 5:55pm and he made a terrible sound that no employee SHOULD NEVER say to a customer, “ughhh, Ok come in.” I immediately turn around and walk away. This place is great, but after this experience with staff, I would not recommend going here and this should not happened at any business.

Nice location but that's about it. Staff are rude. Ordered a part then was given the wrong one. When I called them they said they'd bring the correct part to the shop where my car was being worked on (on the same road) I was thinking wow! That's nice of them. After we waited for 30 minutes I called them back and they said yeah we don't do that. Then they were rude when I got a ride to pick up the correct part

Always busy, sometimes a little hard to get someone on the phone during peak hours. For such a small shop, they pack a lot of necessities and because they have access to Worldpac, expect to find lots of specialist import parts that most auto factors can’t find. Not the least expensive, but great in a pinch!

Really great professional helpful service. Andrew went the extra mile to show me a quick way to install a part on my car, and an option for later. Finally somebody explained what was going on- and saved me a potentially expensive repair bill. Thanks so much. Super job!

Great service. Had to replace 2 batteries in my diesel pickup. Best price and warranty. Installation was complicated by old corroded bolts. No complaint from young man. Great experience.

Don't have many common parts on hand, kept referring me to Albuquerque well I'm a traveler and don't have time to wait for your parts to come in. The employee that rang me out what is less than how would I say it, hospitable. This is a very miniature version of one of these stores another name for them is Carquest. I've never actually really had a horrible experience in Advance Auto in my life but this is the closest thing. Like I said not that bad but also Not Great by any measure. Also the store is very small unlike any other Advanced Auto I've been to.

I drive a diesel truck and it was having problems starting in the mornings. I brought it in thinking I needed new batteries. These guys tested them and they were fine. They were honest and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Great customer service!

In thirty years of being a master certified mechanic and owning my repair shop I have never experienced such unprofessional attitudes as I have had with the Silar Road Advanced Auto in Santa Fe New Mexico. If I were to run a business like they do I wouldnt be in business. I would not lose a customer due to a ignorant staff. Tried to get my warranty on a battery but when I brought it in they said it had been returned already. What? It was sitting on the counter right in front of them. Maybe you should hire english speaking staff. Very sad. I will not return.

The staff is Awesome!!! The customer service is excellent. The staff is knowledge and helpful. I needed help changing my car cabin filter on Jeep as I had hand surgery and the staff helped me do it in a couple of minutes. I was very grateful for their help. I recommend the store and the staff for their excellent customer service.
