We purchased two vehicles from this dealership, and from start to finish the experience was dishonest and frustrating. Before buying, we repeatedly asked the salesman if we could get an extra key. His response was vague and evasive every time he kept beating around the bush and never gave a straight answer. When I asked the finance manager, he told us to call back in a couple of weeks and he’d “see what he could do.” Then, conveniently, I received an email stating that an extra key “wasn’t in our contract.” That was never clearly disclosed upfront.
Even worse, the salesman, manager, and finance manager ALL assured us that the branded titles would be absolutely no problem. They repeatedly downplayed it and made it sound like refinancing or ownership issues would never be an issue.
That was a lie.
We attempted to refinance through Sandia Credit Union to get a better rate and were told both vehicles come back as SALVAGED titles, not just “branded,” and because of that they will only finance up to 50% of the vehicle’s value. This is a huge financial impact that we were never honestly warned about.
Had we been told the truth, we would NEVER have purchased these vehicles.
This dealership is misleading, evasive, and clearly more focused on closing a sale than being transparent with customers. I feel deceived and taken advantage of.
Save yourself the hassle and don’t buy from auto savvy. I bought a Type S a year ago today. 3 months after buying I had to replace all breaks and rotor and 4 new tries because they were showing wire in the inside. Also they put on the cheaper tlx rims and not type S (big price difference) Car only had “5,000” miles. They never fixed the informant system like promised. The salesmen’s act shady, and will pressure more than others since all cars are branded or rebuilt titles (pretty sure some of the stuff they did was illegal when it came to the loan and registration). They have no warranty with their cars since it’s a branded or rebuilt. I understand all dealership ignore you after the purchase which is fine we all know once you drive the car off the lot it’s your problem, but most the problems auto savvy gives your cost more than the 10,000 you saved off or msrp getting the car new or not wrecked or stolen which is all their cars. So basically if you want to save 10,000, and have a car you never can resale because of the branded title and or spend that 10,000 a year down the road in repairs auto savvy is the place.
This is a true review one year later to the date of buying from auto savvy. I would not recommend they had a car that was hard to get, I bought it and I paid the price when I should have just been patient.
What we can say and what we experienced at AutoSavvy was worth the referral we got from a friend who told us to check it out. We had the pleasure of working with Xavior J. We didn't have any intentions of leaving with a truck but we are so blessed and thankful for Xavior J for helping us. He wasn't pushy about a sale he was very helpful in what we were looking for and definitely made our day, Highly recommend Xavior J!
About a week ago I had received a call, confirming my interest in a car, following up with making an appointment to check this vehicle out in person. The salesman who called was Estevan, and through the phone and in person he was very efficient with his work, got along very well with clients coming in, I was impressed by his work. Angel took great care of us. No haggle vehicle pricing made it a bit simpler . Prices are already extremely reasonable. He did everything he could to make us happy and find us the truck we wanted. We came into Savvy because we found a vehicle we really liked on line. We walked in and met Devynn, a sales representative there. Devynn worked efficiently and helped us with a test drive. Update: A few weeks post purchase, the truck has had issues with multiple warnings coming across the screen. We made an appointment and took it back in. After several hours of waiting, all they did was clear the codes and sent us on our way….not even 10 miles down the road, the codes come back on, so we turned around and went straight back. After some time we were told that they needed to order a new module for the truck, had us sign some paperwork and said once the order was approved we would be notified when the part was ordered and arrived so we could make another appointment to have the part installed. As of today, not a single person has called to let us know that the part was ordered or if it has arrived. In the meantime time we are now getting a message that the truck may not start! This truck should’ve never left the lot with these issues that we feel were covered up. Very disappointed, not sure I will be returning after these issues get cleared up if they even get cleared up. It’s disheartening to know you just bought a new vehicle to not have a single call back, email, reply, or follow up of any sort.

They completely took advantage of us during one of the most stressful moments of our lives. My boyfriend’s truck broke down, and literally the next day my car completely died. We were desperate, vulnerable, and rushed into buying a car from AutoSavvy—and it turned into one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made.
From the very beginning, the process was shady and manipulative. When it came time to sign the financing papers, the representative literally said: “Okay, it’s late and everyone wants to go home, so let’s do this quickly.” I told him I wanted to read everything carefully, but he rushed through page after page, flipping them so fast I couldn’t keep track. He never explained anything, just pointed and barked, “Sign here, here, here.” It was pressured, confusing, and completely unprofessional.
The lies didn’t stop there. I specifically asked about the title and was assured the car did not have a salvage title. Imagine my shock when I later tried to refinance with another bank, only to be told they wouldn’t even consider it—because it IS a salvage title. That level of dishonesty is disgusting.
We also asked multiple times about the warranty. We were told it was included in the price of the car, but nothing was clearly explained. It felt intentionally vague. Later, when I tried to cancel parts of the warranty, they initially flat-out refused. When I finally spoke with the cancellation department, I discovered that not only had they lied to me saying it was canceled—they hadn’t actually canceled anything. It was deception layered on top of deception.
And as if all that wasn’t bad enough… the car itself is an absolute nightmare. After only three months, my side mirror literally fell off while I was driving on the highway. The motor makes an unbearable loud noise, lights keep appearing for different reasons, and the paint is literally peeling and falling off the car whenever it rains (I’ve included a picture). Six months in, and this car is already falling apart piece by piece.
This was supposed to be my first major car purchase, and instead it turned into a traumatizing scam. I will forever regret buying from AutoSavvy. I can’t believe a dealership can operate with such dishonesty and still get away with it. If you check Google reviews, you’ll see I’m not the only one—story after story sounds just like mine.
This place preys on people when they’re desperate, lies to their faces, and hands them cars that break apart in months. Please, do not make the same mistake I did. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the heartbreak.
