Service is consistent and good. The lower rating is due to the website showing three sizes of waste bins, but when you request a smaller bin they state they only offer the largest bin in our subdivision. As a retired couple we don't need the largest size. We probably wouldn't even fill the smallest. But as the only game in town we have to pay for extra capacity that we don't need.
One of the trash containers needed to be replaced this past summer. It took a few weeks but it was finally replaced. Other than that issue I have appreciated the trash and recycling services you have been providing for so many years.
Man our driver has not once ever in the 5 years I been in this neighborhood. Not once has our service been late. Always on time and we always get holiday updates
I've never had a problem with this company. They always pick up the trash when they say they will. Once I needed a new container and they came into my driveway to change it out because I forgot to put it in the street! Thank you
I like the communication if a delay in trash pick up will occur. My trash gets picked up with no problem.
On suggestion, have a time specifically for seniors over 60 to take trash to the dump.
Good job of picking up the trash but wish they would be more consistent in the time of their pickups. Especially with recycling pickups every other week, the time of pickup can vary significantly. It may be late morning or very late afternoon-around 5~6 pm.
The Mariposa area gets lots of wind and if we knew the pickup times, we would not have to leave it out all day and subjected to wind that often scatters overflow trash over the neighborhood.
Pick up is great and they pick up trash on day that is scheduled. When there is a holiday, I do get plenty of notice informing me of the delay. Reasonable price.
Customer service is a joke, each person gives a different story and nobody has answers, just the run around. Call after call is a just a waste. Is this the waste they manage?
POOR customer service, don't expect anyone to call back or have ease of contacting anyone for customer service help via phone or email. The website is not user friendly and is more frustrating because if you can't do it yourself on the website you definitely can't get help with their customer service lines. Monthly price increases on the bills. Be careful when establishing service with WM, they will charge you an insane amount of money to pick up the container if you cancel service. They charge you coming and going.
The employees do an excellent job. They have to deal the weather the people. They have to have a great personality.and knowledge and understanding of their surroundings and job.keep it up!
I put out trash once a month but pay as much as if I did it every week. And they asked if I would recommend them, they are the only company that anyone can use, so why ask. What a stupid survey!
It would be an even better service if you offered glass recycling as part of your pickup. I have stopped taking my glass items to the land fill, as the area around the recycling containers is littered with broken glass, which makes it very dangerous to walk on or even drive up to.
Garbage pick up is usually very good, although some drivers are not as careful as others and leave carts overturned on the street after being emptied. They never get out of their truck to set the cart upright, which I would like to see them do.
You guys do great job….my only recommendation would be….MAKE REPORTING A MISSED PICK UP EASIER‼‼‼‼
It’s hidden on your invoicing…hard to navigate through on line and if it’s on the weekend you guys don’t exist and calling has a wait time that is frustrating….it seems a tab dedicated for reporting a missed pick in your home page would help!!!
No complaints whatsoever. Consistent and always let us know if there’s going to be a change in the schedule. When one of my containers broke, I had a brand new one in a day or so.
I think the drivers for Waste Management both trash and recycling are fantastic. I’ve never had a bad experience.. what I do think is awful, is you cannot get somebody on the phone. I’ve held it for over an hour, and they’ve now become one of those companies that you cannot get a live person. This is incredibly disappointing, sure you could pay your bill online. sometimes you need something else.
I think Waste Management also controls our dumps and it’s absolutely ridiculous that they would close on noon on a Saturday closed all day on a Sunday. Granted nobody wants to work the weekends, but this is why we have such an overwhelming issue with Trash out on our Arroyo’s.
The dump needs to be open extended hours, and maybe it needs to be cheaper for people to be able to afford it instead of dumping everything out in the nature/arroyo
New Resident, over a month paid for service and still waiting on my new trash container. Still waiting for pickup of previous owners old filthy trash and recycle containers. Can't talk to a live person, on line requests ignored. TERRIBLE SERVICE
I don't know what it is but either our trash or recycle bin doesn't get emptied on it's desigated week. We like Waste Management but hate them skipping our place. There are times we have failed to have our canister out on time, so I understand the miss, but when we do have it in it's designated area, on the designated days, we are still missed occasionaly.
Great job WM! I had a container that was damaged by a truck and called. Immediately they sent a technician that fixed it. Unknowingly it still had an issue that raised its ugly head on its next empty. Again WM sent a truck with a completely renewed trash container and all was (is) well at the Weaver home. Thank you.
I rented a dumpster for one month. The driver was very good. He placed it where I wanted it and WM picked it up per my schedule without me having to be present. I'd use them again if I needed to.
Never can speak to anyone locally or at all. Your freaking prices for a roll off is totally ridiculous and quite a rip off. We live in Rio Rancho and WM is a monopoly. I've called other places for containers and they reply that they cannot do business in Rio Rancho for Residential. Places such as Roadrunner and MCT. This is hideous! All we are trying to do is remodel our home to sell. The other issue is that I can only get it for recycle is this true? From your website this is what it says. 1,000 dollars for the smallest, come on really?

The site is easy to access, the application is a lifesaver, and I find the customer support good as well. I enjoy things that are relatively streamlined, hassle-free, and easy to use, while I do not have to stay on the phone for hours. The only reason I did not give five stars is because a few times a month my trash will be missed, and I will have to go on the application and request a missed pickup. Then, they fix it ASAP.
Other than the missed pickups here and again, I have no other real issues with the service, it has been great so far. If they could nail down that little thing with the missing my pickup every now and again, I would be thrilled. I don't recall having a damaged container, and the communication with holidays is good. Because the layout of my neighbor's and my house is most likely the reason for the common issues to occur. If they just notify the route, when the substitute driver is in of the house(s) placement (it effects multiple on our street). I would be pleased!
great service. great communication about holidays and such affecting service. Wish they would be more gentle with the bins...one was totally destroyed and the other has a cracked lid cuz they whip those bins around. but its easy to get replacements, too, so no major complaints here! (would like some competition to try to bring the price down, tho)
WM has been servicing promptly after I took residence here in Rio Rancho and I appreciate your service. I found that my weekly pick up container was extremely dirty and has a severe crack on container lid. This attracts a lot of flies, mice and moisture from wet weather. I need reparation as a consumer, I would appreciate a trash container in good condition. Thank you for your service to our community.
Usually your driver leaves my bin which I leave at the edge of my driveway in the center of my driveway. My wife and I have to get out of the car move the bin then we have access to our driveway. It would only take a couple of conscientious seconds to remedy this problem.
I have changed my review from a four star to a five-star review for now! Last Thursday the driver got out of the vehicle and took my trash bin up to the side of my house then they went back to their route.
Today I change back to a four star rating because the container was left right smack in the middle of the driveway again so my handicap wife has to go move the trash can to get out of the driveway or to come back in. It was remedied for a few weeks..
