I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received. From the very moment this woman answered the phone, her tone was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. As someone who understands the importance of communication and customer service, I was shocked by how I was spoken to. There was no greeting, no attempt to be helpful — just an immediate attitude as if my call was an inconvenience.
Running a business requires basic professionalism, patience, and respect toward customers, especially in situations where people are already stressed and likely dealing with vehicle trouble. Instead of offering reassurance or assistance, she responded with short, irritated answers and made it clear she did not want to be bothered. At no point did she attempt to clarify information politely or explain the process in a respectful way.
Customer service is the foundation of any successful business. If someone cannot communicate respectfully, remain calm, and treat paying customers with courtesy, they should reconsider whether they are in the right line of work. A tow service is often needed during urgent or frustrating moments — the last thing a customer needs is hostility on top of that.
Because of this experience, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau so that this behavior is formally documented. No customer should be treated this way. I would strongly advise others to consider alternative companies that value professionalism and basic respect.

I wish I could give Carters Towing more than 5 stars! They are an awesome towing company! Americas Towing and AAA left me hanging worse off than before I called AAA. Americas Towing was a complete joke, they even got themselves stuck on a paved road before they got to my location. Americas Towing pulled my truck into a worse situation then I was before they showed up. Carters Towing showed up and had my truck back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Carters Towing is the best towing company in Rio Rancho and Albuquerque hands down. They even offered to help Americas Towing recovery their truck which they had left stuck overnight. Thank you so much Carters Towing!
This place is an absolute sham, and the owner is definitely full of herself and needs an attitude to justment. This place damages vehicles and does not care. They just want to collect your money. Be very cautious with working with these people. You can spin it however you want. AND IF THERE WAS A MISCOMMUNICATION OR MISS UNDERSTANDING SOMETHING SORRY, WHAT'S GOING THROUGH A LOT. BUT nonetheless, you truly don't know how to handle yourself. I truly hope you CYA because I sure did not only that RRPD already said that they are having a lot of issues with your towing company. So clearly, it's not everybody else. It's you. Have a lovely day. God knows you needed that twenty-four cents more than I do.
Everyone was absolutely amazing. So grateful to have them when I was stranded and needed a tow truck. They helped me tons and made sure I was okay. I absolutely recommend them! Amazing and good people. They helped when I needed the most thank you guys once more! I will definitely come back again. Good people and awesome service!
Unreasonable owner who has no problems threatening owners of cars who have been towed from being arrested. Yes, consequences from bad decisions happen but it is not her job to then discriminate against those how have been incarcerated. Something seriously wrong with this lady who refuses to work with people rather than throw it in their face that they were arrested and demand physical proof of information that can only be inside the car. The golden rule does not apply to this business owners mindset and is seriously not something that lifts up this community for the better.
My uncles vehicle was towed to this place we’re trying to get out of the vehicle and a lady that works there came at us demanding the money for the truck which was not drivable. She got in my face yelling made my uncle very nervous he’s in his late 80’s said she was going to call the cops on us. All we wanted to do is see the damage on his truck. I do not recommend this place. I don’t know how anyone can talk to customers the way she did.

Beyond grateful! Carter's Towing in Rio Rancho, NM went above and beyond on so many levels. I broke down in a town 600 miles from home while traveling for the holidays. They were very quick to respond. Very professional. They even recommended an excellent mechanic. Pricing seemed very fair for the distance traveled! I was not able to secure a ride to my hotel after spending several hours at the mechanic's shop so I called them back and they sent someone to pick me up and drop me off at my hotel. Wonderful service. Great folks! Would absolutely recommend.
I had a broken down vehicle late on a Sunday evening and was on the side of the highway stranded with my family.. After several attempts trying to get help from other tow companies no one would answer or simply wouldnt help me on a sunday evening.. A friend gave me Carters Towing number and I gave them them a call they answered immediately and said they could help me out. Shortly after Carters Towing showed up to save our family.. They were extremely professional and kind to me and my vehicle and very fair priced. I saved their number in my contacts and will NEVER call another tow company again other than Carters Towing.. I give them 10 stars!!!!!!!
