Just had a blow out on freeway with a camper tire while heading out of town for weekend. Without going into all the details, we called Rio Rancho towing and they had a guy out in less than 30 minutes and he got our tired changed, on the side of the freeway, with the cars speeding past. I don’t have his name, but we were blessed he came to help us and appreciate the service. It is stressful to be in a situation like this and glad there are people skilled to help. First time we have ever needed anything like this, but glad we got help fast and most importantly, safely.
Extremely rude when called for a quote and to set up the pickup etc as if it was an inconvenience for them to do their job. The real inconvenience was their insane prices on top of the pathetic customer service. Will never use this “company” again.
If zero stars were possible - that’s what they would get. FYI - their “day” charges are absolutely outrageous. Just know you’ll pay for two days if your car sits there from 6pm until 6am even though it’s only 12hrs. The woman working the front proceeded to lecture my husband on why “he’s the man, and should have main access to our money” because he said “I need to talk to my wife.” Grumpy old man argued with us about the stupidity of the charges. It’s one of the worst business in Rio Rancho.
Soooo rude. When I showed up to collect my personal property out of the vehicle the woman at the window acted like I was putting her out and was on her cell phone the entire time. Then when I realized I left something behind she asked me if I had full coverage on my vehicle (which is none of her business either way), but I told her insurance doesn't cover my personal property. Then she proceeded to ask me who was driving the vehicle when the accident happened. I'm not sure what difference that made, but that was also not her business. As I was walking out the door from the tiny room they have I accidentally left a can of disinfecting spray and she barked at me to take it with me. She had no compassion or empathy. The accident was BAD and seeing my vehicle jarred me, but instead it seemed like she wanted me to leave my items in there. BTW they were brand new mats and car seat covers and it made me think they might want them for themselves.
I would never recommend having this place tow ur vehicle.
Oh it was hot today , i needed some service, middle of the day. Others couldnt get here. I got excuses, got into a verbal fight with one tow company. I called Rio Rancho Towing and in thirty minutes he loaded vehicle and towed it.
A plus, for great service on a day we hit 100 degrees! Bravo!
I called this morning for a tow from Rio Rancho to Eubank and they were going to charge me $150 hook up fee and $5 a mile to destination. OUTRAGEOUS. Looks like no more flat fee towing exists anymore.
My car caught fire in Bernalillo on highway 550. I called them when it was almost closing time and they showed up quickly, loaded my car up and got it to my house in Bloomfield, NM. Driver was a very nice young man and did a great job. I hope I never have to, but I would use them again if I do.
Want to give a shout out to this company for jumping out of bed and coming to the rescue on a very rough night! Friendly and a very fair price! Would highly recommend!
Rio Rancho Tow. had. my vehicle stored on their property, when I retrieved my property iwas missing lots of items.People were jumping the fence and stealing items from my vehicle. So I would not advice anyone to use this company.
My roommates car broke down this week, we had to leave it on the side of the road. The city had it towed before we could come get it. Rio Rancho Towing was the company that picked it up.
This towing company pulled some seriously rookie move, using simple j-hooks to remove the car, they absolutely destroyed the rear-control arms in the vehicle and are now claiming no fault of their own, claiming it was like this when they recovered it. Which is impossible, because the car was recovered on 528 and Northern, and the car was completely incapable of driving on those roads after it was released to us, and was incapable of holding a straight line. The vehicle had to be limped to another shop up the road at about 5mph. The car had no serious suspension issues previous to their recovery.
They charged us $140 in lot fees to release a car to us, that was by them, rendered, not only undrivable, but also dangerous.
Stay as far away from this company as possible. They are dishonest, and were initially unwilling to reimburse us for the damages. We are currently in dispute.
Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company, owners and workers are too egotistical… The way they act is humiliating and disrespectful if you know what’s smart you’d avoid using this business, wish I did.
0 stars!!!! First of all we were told it was $100 + $5 a mile. We had it towed less then a mile away. But they charged us 7 miles! We asked about it and were told we also get charged for them to come to our house (back mileage). I called the place and asked if mileage was charged from pickup to location with no back mileage and he said yes. So I then told him we just used them and explained we got charged back mileage, when he just told me they don’t. He said bc our tow was less then a mile away they have to charge back mileage?? So they say one thing on the phone and then charge extra once the job is done. Also the tow driver insulted my husbands cobra, calling it a fake and talking trash
We work for a non-profit next door to this company. Yesterday (Saturday 4/25) we had about 14 volunteers and one gentleman parked his truck on the easement side of the curb in front of their business. No signs to indicate private property or anything,, but the owner of RR Towing decided to bring out his truck, hook up this volunteer's vehicle and proceeded to tell him he had to pay $100 to get his vehicle unhooked. Could have just as easily walked over to ask for the vehicle to be moved, but guess the free money is just too much for some folks. Will never recommend.
If I could do 0 stars I would!!! Milton and his wife are rude disrespectful and a complete disgrace!! Please do rio Rancho a favor and find a different company. They don't care about there community or there customers save yourself the frustration of being ripped off and treated horribly and go elsewhere!!!!
By far the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I have never in my entire life had someone yell and raise their voice to me over the phone. I was also hung up on. I have called back 6 times to only have my phone calls ignored. I am incredibly baffled that a place like this can me even open for business. This the worst towing company I have ever had to deal with. As a business owner in New Mexico and community based individual I give this business less than one star.
They are very strict at their impound lot. Prices were probably good for impound lot, but the tow fee was expensive! They do stick it to you on a weekend for impound. Didn't like that $$ rule. To talk to a person you stand in a small lobby and they come to a little window. Very impersonal, however I suppose they might get some pretty angry customers. The lady that worked there was very nice. She took the edge off it being a very hot day and having to pay them $200 for a car that was totaled and getting picked up by another wrecker.
I get my car towed and come to find out either apd or Rio Rancho towing stole over $300 in birthday presents that I had for my son's birthday gifts in my car.... Does it make you all happy now that my son dont get his birthday presents im a single mom barely making it and cant replace you all make me sick i hope you can live with yourself to take a child's birthday gifts...
Definatly the WORST ever!!!!! DO NOT go here! They are so rude they slammed the door on my face and weren't letting me pick up my car because I didnt have my registration on me it was in my vehicle! They threatend me. They are all very unprofessional and very rude!
Needed my son's car taken from my driveway to a shop on NM528. Called them at 8am they were at my house by 8:30am. The price was exactly what was quoted on the phone. The driver was very careful with the vehicle. Good experience with them.
Had to pay a storage fee even though the vehicle was only there for an hour... if they didn't have a crash contract they would out of business. I would never willingly use them.
Unfortunately, had to deal with them recently. The person who took my daughter back to her vehicle was extremely rude. It's never enjoyable to have to use a towing company, but safe yourself the headache.
All this company does is rip people off. This is a place you want to stay away from. They charge you a ridiculous amount, even for non-concensual tows. Would not recommend to ANYONE.
I am from out of state and got a heavy truck buried in the sand. Other company tried then said they couldn't get me out. Rio Rancho came and although it took a couple of hours, they knew what they were doing, how to hook up and the angle needed to get the truck out. I do recommend their service.
Milton is great to work with, very careful during all phases of the hauls. I've used him 5 times (sadly!) and he's always there when he says he will be, and no phony charges.
I called about my car the next day after having to get my car towed after getting into an accident the morning before. The person who answered the phone yelled at me to wait. They take forever and are extremely unhelpful.
They are operating a bait and switch system on their pricing...Driver was obnoxious intimidating and threatening. ..he threatened to impound my vehicle unless I paid the extra costs he said I would have to pay after the company had already agreed to a price with my towing insurance company...do NOT ever use this company ...total ripoff artists. ..
Not too happy at the moment. They missed a broken windshield from a front impact. They said that they noticed it but just assumed it was there before. Now I'm stuck dealing with the insurance, rather than them stepping up and admitting that they missed it. I'm hoping this issue will be resolved, so I can update this review.
This place is a total rip off. My motor cylce was stolen and then recovered by rio rancho police department. They used this company to tow it to their lot and to the police department. I was assured by the RRPD that they would not charge me that much. When I arrived to the office. It was very unorganized and not helpful to my situation. I asked if they could help me since i was a victim of a crime. They have no mercy for the victims of crimes. I was charged 100 for the initial tow, another 80 for overnight charges. another 100 to tow it to the PD. Which is about a half mile from their business. and their additional cost. Total came out to 350 dollars. Tried pleading my case with them but they came with a retort" it is what it is." So please people, do not use this company as their only to steal your money. Even the police department and MVD were shocked to the cost of the tow. I say again, stay away from this place.
So I got a tow for a vehicle that wouldn't fit a tow dolly. It was a simple hookup and tow 5.7 miles to my home. When we were leaving, I set the odometer in my personal vehicle to 0.0 and we drove straight home. I was charged 16 miles. The driver was also somewhat aggressive and I REALLY didn't want to get in a yelling match in my driveway. At least I now know who NOT to call... ever... again. Oh, I also did a google maps trip and it also came up to exactly 5.7 miles. Go figure.
