Not helpful at all we were passing through from out of town needed to buy parts for a few cars they said they had the cars on the lot but they would have to call me back l explained I was from out of town and was there for that day only there were a few workers walking behind the counter but never offered to help I was looking at spending a few hundred dollars there but they really didn't seem to care I would have pulled all the parts myself so they didn't waste any time. Very poor customer service
Just wanted to respond to a recent review by Dragon MEFT, I know about the situation they went through and to be clear, they called this company 2 different times and the car was not picked up either time. Idk if there was some sort of mistake or something but the car absolutely was not picked up "Immediately" and the 6 month wait was also never explained over the phone
Where do I even begin... Two weeks ago, my old car broke down. I had to get it towed and sent to a local mechanic shop. My car was old and I just needed to have it scraped. In a panic, I called this place and they told me that later that day they'd pick up my car. They did not, and never followed up. I called again a few days later and this time they told me something different. I was stressed, waiting for something, so I decided to go in person to ask. THEY TOLD ME I WAS ACTUALLY ON A 6 MONTH WAIT LIST . They deceived me and caused me so much anguish. Thankfully Alamo Towing and Recovery LLC (not sponsored) came to the rescue and actually helped tow my car and scrap it! Look, I understand this company is busy and probably dealing with a lot, but I would've appreciated if they would've just been honest and explained the situation to me sooner . I mean no ill will to them and I hope things can improve at this place.
DO NOT CALL THEM. Very, very expensive. Owner is rude and lacked any sympathy for our situation of a wrecked camping trailor and damaged motorcycles. She screamed at me for checking in my saddle bag before they unloaded and said I would pay extra for that. We paid over $1100 to have 2 motorcycles towed about 5 miles. DO NOT CALL THEM. There are other choices.
Needed a fairly standard bolt pattern steel rim ,5 x 4.5" is common. Tried to shop local but quoted $75 for a rim that other people out of town have for $15. So much for "shop locally"
They sold my dad a non working part for his truck and they refused to give him a refund or store credit. Owners are very rude. Would give 0 stars if I could :( don’t go here
Wanted parts for my truck but was told by the lady at the counter that they couldn’t babysit me to look at a parts truck. I was prepared to spend real money for lots of parts. Never again!!!
Terrible service I called in for a piece they said they indeed had and asked for a deposit. I placed my card down. when I called to check in they reassured me that if not ready that day, they guaranteed it’d be ready for pick up the next morning, I called and called within operating hours, and no answer. I decide to go in since I’ve heard no update l, to walk in an they’re not busy at all, phones aren’t busy either, so when I ask for my piece they suddenly claim they didn’t have the piece, that they’d have to order it and it’s be more then the already discussed price. I wouldn’t refer anyone to come here they’re inconsistent and unprofessional.
The Worst Towing company I have ever dealt with in my 45 years of living. They prey on the poor and take what little they have. This company makes up its rules and make outrageous charges! Los gringos mas Malos!!
I will never forgive this company for taking my car from me. my car was totaled and not parked close enough to the curb. Due to my car being totaled it obviously could not drive. A police officer showed up to my door and told me I either have to move it or have it towed. Clearly since my car was totaled I could not drive it. The police officer then contacted this company. The company gave me a little to no details on what will happen after they take my car. Needless to say I was not informed that I will have to pay a large fee in order to obtain my car back. Without knowing this information it is obvious that I was not prepared for this. so now this horribly untrustworthy salvage yard has my car forever. I still had belongings in that car which I could not retrieve. If I could get this company zero stars I would. I will never forget this.
Totaled our rv and toad and this crew was on the scene immediately! The couple who owns the place as well as their staff was so accommodating. These are definitely people persons and very professional. Thank God for them. The wife helped to see after our dog while we were dealing with all the events surrounding our accident. Thank God for our lives and sending His angels.
The lady I spoke to on Monday april11was really rude I asked for a fender she said she had it for 100 I asked for directions was so rude yelled at me when I asked to repeat herself so I. Called back again spoke to sombody else was rude as well I asked to speak to manager and she said I was talking to her so please don't ask. For direction I got yelled by the manager never have I gotten yelled by somebody because of directions I told her I was coming from El Paso I'm sorry but I think they have attitude problems
Customer service is horrendous. This is the worst I've been treated by a sales associate. When I asked about a military discount. "We already give good deals" was the response I got. The door we put a deposit on was a different color and had electric locks. The one they had pulled had manual locks and was not the one pictured. I asked if it didn't work if we could bring it back, she then refused to sell us the door because "it wasn't worth the hassle" at this point I wouldn't take the door if it was free. I'm shocked this place is still in business. Listen to ALL the other one star reviews. The most unprofessional business I've ever been to.
Worst customer service ever, the lady at the front was very rude.... she needs to check herself if she likes customers coming back and her buisness to stay open..... as i was trying to explain what her employees has told me over the phone all she did was have nothing but smart remarks and just an awful attitude hope you have a better week lady.
Single worst towing experience every. Driver refused to accept card as payment and demanded cash. Then he proceeded to be-little me and told me if I ride with him I better keep my mouth shut. Rude, unprofessional, and just mean.
I was looking to engine swap my VW Bug and messaged them on facebook and asked if they sold complete engines and what a price would range would be on 1 and the only response I got was "$5-$50,000" i then asked "what engine do you have that is $50,000?" still have no received a response.
Worst "junkyard" possible, they wouldn't let me and a friend look at what they had out back, when we asked if there was a real junkyard around they replied "not in New Mexico, Not since Obama"

All of the staff were very professional and helpful. Made the process very easy for my husband and i. They were responsive whenever we had a question and had great customer service! Highly recommend them!
I called and right away the lady answered fast with a bad attitude she was very rude and unprofessional..worst customer service ever. I recommend coming here if you like dealing with a person who makes it known that she hates her job.

This company and family have always been on top of things and were there when our office was drove into. I will continue to recommend North 54 Towing. Appreciate all they do.
Well for start i tried for 3 hours to get in touch for a tow service for my s10 out of the side of a dry arroyo bed crossing, it's flat and clear, dried up and more do like a gravel road. I only had it there top get out of the way as to not block the roadway. All in all they said, "They wouldn't cause she didn't want their wrecker to get torn up. And then when I gave the details of it being more so of a gravel road yhe answer was still no, than she changed it to having to wait till the next day cause no truck available, all with in the same call. I've seen them go out for worse and through worse situations and surroundings from accidents on highways and more. Hence, why ireached out to them so long and so much. While on my call, she had an attitude and negative about assitantance and was very short and rushed me off the call, I have to say that the lady didnt have any empathy to the problem i was having. She wouldn't suggest any other service that may help, when I gave thanks for time no manners given back in any way. So much, she wouldnt even give price for the tow on the next day for what is less than 2.5 mile tow. I actually was offended by trying to get their help by the end of the call, shame on me for being nice, polite, and trying so hard to use their service and calling. Lesson learned i suppose.
Called and spoke to Genie in reference to a hood. She advised she had a car and hood, and quoted me a price. Drove 90 miles only to be charged 5.00 bucks to enter yard, had no car or hood. Stay away and don't trust them!
I have dealt with this local business for years. Anytime I call they answer right away and help find what I am in need of. If they don’t have it then they turned around and help me find places that may have it. The are getting better and bigger every year. I see their towing trucks working 24/7 and never in a bad mood when they show up to help.
The staff and owners are polite and want to do everything they can to make your visit a positive one and the customer leaves satisfied with the service, and have the item they were searching for or will be picking it up in a few days because they found it for you and will have it shipped to North 54 however is most convenient for the customer.
They are also very active in the local community and support veterans in more ways than most will ever know. That's more than enough for me.
Very rude on phone!! Called to sell my car for junk, she said well you'll only get 75.00 and I said that's fine it would cost more than the car is worth. She said it would be 2 weeks before it would be picked up. Called after 2 weeks and I was told 3 weeks are more!!! Almost 2 months now. Guess they aren't coming??? Customer service is greatly needed there!!!
They're the only junkyard in town, and they know it! They'll shamelessly overcharge, and seem not to care if you do business with them or not. You're better off just going to El Paso. Even after accounting for gas, you'll get a better deal than at this place!
The lady answers the phone really quick, I asked a really simple question, before I was even done she said 'NO' right away and hanged up. I was willing to pay top dollar for something I know they have in there junk yard, but will rather get it now from somewhere else. Completely rude and lost a good sale.....
