I bought a engine in 2014 for2007 Subaru from here. Installed engine had had no compression. Took several days till they agree to honor warranty. 2016 bought 2.2 ecotec engine from here. The block was messing piece i didn't notice till I got home to Hatch. It took several calls to finally make it good. 2022 paid for steering box, was told it would be pulled first thing in morning, and it'd be ready by noon. We then called the next day at 11:10 and he said he would call me back.. Drove from Hatch to there it wasn't ready so I asked for money back he said he wouldn't give our money back because of a restocking fee. I say you haven't pulled it yet why would you charge a restocking fee he said because I didn't give him enough time
Professional, easy to work with. Excellence at its best! Looked online for Car Parts saw the parts that I needed on eBay, then I saw an eBay and it said New Mexico and ….. wouldn’t you know if….. they were local. Not Loco! But Local! Here in Las Cruces!!! Got the parts I needed within a couple of days and voilà. Good to go!!
I paid good money for an engine, They ordered it for me and the wrong engine came in. It took me 3 months to get the correct engine for my car! Once I finally got the engine it was completely stripped!
After I purchased a part, they sold it for more money on Ebay. Took them a week to let me know. I'm still waiting for a refund. Submitted a claim with PayPal. Response: I did understand but you should have refunded my money right away and I wouldn't have left a negative review. Don't see why I should still be waiting for it due to your error. Your website is still showing that you have a transfer case available. Somebody else can still purchase it and go through the same problem that I did. 8-11-23 Still waiting for my refund. I know they are just being jerks even though it was their mistake. I'm not worried I won't get it because PayPal will refund my money when their time to respond expires. First time I have ever given a negative review because most businesses are professionals and not like these petty idiots. 8-16-23 Still waiting for a refund. I guess crooked businesses don't make enough money. 8-22-23 They didn't refund my money but PayPal did and I assume they will take it from them. All of this for being petty and stupid.
I purchased a ford 6.8 v10 from them, which they advertised as a "good running engine". When it arrived I removed the oil pan and found metal in the oil pan and the bearings had been wiped out from running the engine without enough oil. This is when the problems started. I had to fight with them to get them to pay the return shipping, when they finally relented and I returned the engine they refused to give my money back, $2700. They claim the engine was damaged during shipping back to their yard, but never sent any pictures or other proof of this damage. I did send them pictures of the shipping damage when I received the engine and they simply brushed me off. They offered me to pay only $800 for nothing, at this point they already had the engine back at their yard. Most likely to recover the cost of shipping back an engine that was bad in the first place. From here you can make up your own mind if you want to gamble with this company.
TL;DR: They sold me a bad engine and wouldn't refund the money after I returned it.
Tye has awesome customer service. Was looking for a part for my vehicle he quickly found one for me and gave me the best price he could. Not the first time I’ve done business with Action and definitely not the last. Thank you so much

Every time I called the guys were so friendly.
They were all busy but the guys in the office went out of their way and personally went to look for the part when I showed up!
Best part: They let me pet their sweet baby cat, Sal, I think his name was. They told me the sweetest story how they took in the cute little guy.
Anyway, they saved me a hundred bucks and even suggested getting it tested beforehand and reminded me of their warranty.
Just an excellent experience.
I can't wait to have an excuse to go back!
Actually went in looking for a bolt and they had it when nobody else in town had it but they said they were to busy to help me. And to think I gave a good review yesterday when I called!
If you guys don't the part the customer ordered let the customer know don't start a waiting period and hang on to the payment. it's to inconvenient for the customer, their are to many other salvage yards around to bother, 5 weeks a fake refund and the dispute with my bank wasn't worth it for something I got in a day from another yard. their is your review do what you want with it.
They were fast and careful. Drivers name was Bill, he called me when he left, called me when he arrived at the vehicle, and called me when he dropped it off at the dealer. He always kept me in the loop. Great service!
Got what I needed ...and they went the extra way to include installation in my kids first car - truck- nice people! seatbelts. Important for a 16 year old.
Great company! I have purchased parts from their yard and I've ordered through them before. Engines come clean. Great quality even for used parts. Tye and Collin always go above and beyond.
This place is the best they can find just about any thing you could ever need they will fine u a new stove if u ask that just the kind of people they are friendly an fast I will all ways go to them for all my parts an thanks to them I can drive my truck day in an day out they .........

Tried dealing with this company since they are locally, but I was lied to and kept on waiting on them, and at the end they did not have the part since they had to "source" it from El Paso, he could have just told me he did not have it, tried talking to the owner but apparently he is never there, please don't deal with Collin he is just a liar, quick to take your money but no delivery of goods.
Calling Ins Company today, rude and lied
Left over an hour waiting on second tow truck . Road service called back to towing , guess tow truck driver didn't like it. Then waits until over time limit calls says he's having equipment trouble . There is no where in Cruces that takes an hour to drive . We were center of town waiting . I did see 4 town trucks driving home leaving other car sitting waiting for calls .

The review that describes a bad experience with a towed car, mistakenly posted it about the wrong company. This is "Action Auto Parts", not "Action Towing". They are two different companies operating under two different business licenses. Please write your review on the correct business page. Action Auto Parts does NOT offer a towing service, but has excellent customer service and low prices on used auto parts. Give them a chance to earn your business. They have a A+ rating by the BBB. They do accept credit cards as well. They have earned my business for life. Thank you.
I was told they would buy my junk car when i called to see if they would be interested. They were supposed to pick it up early in the week, but when they hadn't arrived by Tuesday afternoon, I gave them a call, to see if we still had a deal. He said they would be by that next day or Thursday. Never heard from him again.
