I highly recommend Louis's. They're friendly, honest people, they always do a great job and pricing is reasonable. I like the online booking system and the drop off process is simple. They call to go over costs before they do work so there's no surprises.
This is the place where I take my vehicles when I'm not working on them myself. My only wish is that they had one or two days a week where they are open at 0730, only because I think some of us work over an hour away, but I know that's easier said than done. We make it work, regardless.
I've trusted manager Mike and his team, for the past few years now and they've done an excellent job.
With my 2009 car which I've only had since 2024, they got all the issues squared away that, based on carfax reports and paper service records passed down to me, dealer service techs have been chasing around for years. That car drives/handles like a dream now.
I had initally taken my 284,000-mile car to the dealer for a suspected transmission issue and the dealer techs totally missed what Mike and his team picked up - an ODB2 code for a misfire in cyclinder 1 that was mimicking the symptoms of a transmission juddering issue. I should have taken it to Louis' Garage first - They addressed that single issue and my car is running great again.
As an additional note, when I get my car repaired by Louis' Garage, I've also benefitted from the shuttle service just on the fact that when driving with the tech (a few times it was Alex - excellent in car talk) who then drives it back to the shop, I can show them exactly what my concerns are and also get a feel for how much they love working on cars as well.

My partner and I dropped off our car for a new set of front tires. First phone call to make an appointment was quick and easy. When we were there the staff there was beyond kind and helpful and even gave us a paper with the information regarding a free inspection they did of the other issues the car had, and when we had questions they broke it down for us.They were quick to the point that we just stayed there while they worked and we have recommend to family and friends. 100% recommend them!!!

A very positive experience they did what others couldn't do after several attempts and kept me updated on every aspect/ I had some other issues taken care everything as promised estimated time and cost very happy with their service just wish they would extend their shuttle service to at least 15 or 20 miles as they are worth the inconvenience but would most likely increase their business alot all about the customer service 😀again they came through as promised I highly recommend them and as I stated before the car service for their services if they've got to pick you up or drop you off is 5 Mi which is great but for me it would be awesome if it was a little more than I could you know get stuff done a lot easier without having to arrange a ride but I do highly recommend them
all the guys there are excellent , they explained everything that was going on , will definitely will always go back there now , you guys should do the same go to LOUIS' Garage for your work on your cars for sure

I got my flat tire fixed. The service was quick and efficient. The staff was extremely helpful and followed up to make sure I was satisfied with the job.
I have been living in the area for over 5 years and just discovered Loui's garage this year. They are incredibly understanding, helpful, and willing to do the work to figure out exactly what is wrong with your car. I have unfortunately had to bring my car in a few times this year, and I always left there feeling reassured they did the best job they could do at a price that always feels reasonable and honest. The customer service is phenomenal, someone always answers when you call, I have even gotten call backs on the weekend to update me on questions I had. Good luck finding that somewhere else. Highly recommended, will be doing all my car repairs at Loui's from here on out.

It was my first time using this garage. I read all the views and had to go here. They helped me so much for being a first time customer. I have switched garages. Mine is a very nice guy haven't dealt with Chris yet but I'm sure he's the same. For all your car care needs I highly recommend these guys.
I’m new to the garage and I have only good to say about them. My daughter got a new car and we wanted it checked out with routine services. We were told by someone we needed an alternator, Louis’ Garage said that was incorrect. They called me to let me know what they found and got my approval before fixing. They even gave me a heads up on items that will be needing fixed soon, but not yet. They were very professional and friendly. We will be taking all our cars to them now on.
Love Louis’ Garage! My oil change was fast and at a great price. I’ve also had brakes and a new air conditioning unit put in my car and everything had been fantastic with my car since!
Broke down on I78 returning to CT. from VA. on a Sunday evening. Totally unfamiliar with the area. Got towed to Louis's with a trashed water pump. Even though we were not expected, they got our truck fixed, and we were on our way home by 3pm Monday afternoon. I can't thank Chris and Alex enough for their kindness, professionalism, and outstanding customer service. They take pride in their work and it shows. Shop was clean and organized. Very highly recommended! Residents in the area are fortunate to have a garage like this one. You guys are the best!
Mike was very knowledgeable and through after examining my SUV. He was honest with his findings and did not try to pressure me into having unnecessary work done, as the cost to fix my vehicle was greater than the value. You don't find honest quality people these days, but these guys take care with their customers.
The honesty and character of this garage is astounding. They say what they mean and get it done with precision and at very good affordable prices too. We won't go anywhere else for having our transportation kept in working order. Especially when they had coupons available because that's what brought us in. It's getting more corrupt in the world as the years go on to find a garage of mechanics so accountable such as this place. The best! Thank you!
