Dropped vehicle off at about 3:30 for rubbing noise while braking. Expected to have car looked at in the morning. Parking lot was basically empty which is quite unusual. Car was looked at almost immediately. Received a call about an hour later stating that we needed front and rear brake pads and rear calipers. Gave a price of $1170 for parts. We gave them the ok to do the job. Got a call back just before 7PM that the vehicle was ready. We advised them we would pickup the vehicle in the morning. Now it gets interesting. I was asked for my SSN which I refused to give them. I advised that we would be using the Firestone credit card. They wanted the Firestone credit card information over the phone which I thought was strange but I obliged. I was told that the card was denied. They tried several times. I told them that I would be there in the morning with the card. The manager advised me that they needed it now before they closed due to a part that the had purchased for the repair. I finally had to ask what the total cost was. The total cost exceeded the credit limit of the card. The manager finally said “let me see what kind of discounts I can find “. The applied discounts brought the total under the credit limit. Why weren’t the discounts applied first? We’ve been using this Firestone location for over 15 years. This is the worst experience and customer service that we have ever experienced. The poor customer service is a good indication as to why the parking lot and garage bays were basically empty the last 2 days. By the way, the rubbing noise still exists.

Had a low tire pressure show up on my car about 15 miles away from the dealership. Came in. They took my car right away checked it out found my rear two tires were low on air. I bring my car here for all my work that needs to be done where it comes to my tires and wheels. All four tires are from here and have road hazard. I have lifetime Will I’m in as well. Never have an issue whatsoever five star.

This shop is not on the up and up. Several years ago they wanted $1,600 for a repair on a 10 year old car. I went to a reputable mechanic in the area for less than $200. More recently I went back there because I had a damaged Bridgestone tire. Of course I needed four new tires because the one bad tire is a discontinued model (only 20k miles). They upsold a bunch of additional serviced and reacted with incredulity when I told them I only wanted the regular wheel alignment not the “lifetime” one. I needed a tire and didn’t feel like going to multiple shops but they sucked $1,600 from me. Steer clear of these crooks.

Today's repairs were exceptionally efficient. Services began with Kingsley identifying the problem and Kennis explaining the various services needed to fix it. Today's service was excellent.

Service advisor and tech knowledgeable with the reason I brought the car in for, were able to effectively get the work done and more importantly note the items for future / next service. Did not try to upsell on service items which made the experience very pleasant and seemed like a partnership

Well my Ford Edge came in with a blown lower radiator hose which I asked you to replace and check out and test drive the car. You replaced the upper hose as well doubling the cost of the repair ..I was NOT consulted on that . After driving the car away for 10 mins the car started overheating again and I had the car towed back to my house . If you had "inspected " the car , which I paid for and test driven it you would have easily discovered that it has a blown head gasket . Their was brown sludge water foam under the oil filler cap which indicates a blown head gasket ot worse . You would have also seen this foam in the hoses that you removed. NOT HAPPY and I need to be compensated/refunded.

Called for oil changed a tire rotation… of course they called me with a bunch of stuff that could have been fixed and I specifically told him I’m currently unemployed and needed the bare minimum. I decided to add the front breaks since they were ver low and asked what the total was with the breaks, I made sure I asked “that’s with the oil change and windshield wipers and everything else?” I was told 480 ish. When I go pick up the car they charged me $890. $480 was just for the brakes, not even including labor. What’s the point of asking for the total ahead of time ??? I got robbed ! Ridiculous. Absolutely infuriating

Called at 7am for a wheel alignment, the worker said he can give me a discount off of the 120$ charge. When I got there the manager helped me but started to Discriminate me over the course of 5 min. “I wouldn’t give you the discount” with a nasty tone and attitude, and other comments were made. Very disgusting side of a human with zero respect. Corporate was called, he’s mad because he makes 15$ an hr still and he’s 45 years old. Get a life and get happy Name was Adam

My car is undergoing an oil consumption test and the fill port was clearly wrapped with blue tape that stated "Do Not Remove". It was removed. If I want to continue the test I must pay to have the oil drained and refilled so that the oil remaining after 1000 miles can be measured. There was no need to remove that tape because I only ordered a contract alignment. The staff denied unwrapping the fill port, which was a clear lie because the tape was there when the car was brought in and absent when it came out. There is nothing I could do about it, so I left.

Repair and parts costs are over inflated. It’s not worth it if your vehicle is older. Reps are always nice and pleasant, but the prices are ridiculous. Must admit, it was peace of mind when my vehicle was newer, even though I knew I was overpaying. Repairs done timely and warrantied.

I ended up with a flat tire on a weeknight a bit before 5 PM. Kenny had my flat tire and other tires inspected. He advised the flat needed to be replaced and recommended the others be replaced as well due to dry rot. He was able to have my tires replaced and wheels aligned in 2.5 hours at a great price. Thanks, Kenny and Firestone!

100% would recommend you stay as far away as possible from these scam artist. Brought my car in last Thursday for an alignment and noticed that night on the way home from work it wasn’t corrected. Took the car back Friday and waited an hour and 45min just for me to realize Saturday morning the car is STILL not aligned. Came back in Monday October 20th and was told by the “manager” that there must be something else wrong with the car because they say “it leaves the shop going straight” $175 later and having to bring my car to a different shop that is actually competent. Do yourself a favor and go to another shop that can resolve the issues and has integrity since this shop clearly does not.

Got my new Blizzak WS90s mounted today. (I know, a tad early, but they were on sale) Great experience. Price was very good and Hadi did a really nice job, knew all about my Audi, treated my car like it was his, and took the time to explain the alignment to me, the tire pressures needed, bagged and put my summers in the car for me. I know, new rubber always "feels good", but what can I say? Looking forward to the snow! They treat me nicely, do good work, and so I go there for all my tire needs.

Service here is always great. Prices are fair and for 4th vehicle in a row I am buying the lifetime service. The team has been here for years and they get to know you, your preference and your vehicles.

Great team. Amazing people. They didn't have the product in stock, so they ordered it and offered to have it delivered close to closing time. You can tell they really want to work! Excellent service. Thank you, Brandon and Aaron.

WORST Experience Ever at Firestone – Wrong Diagnosis + Rude Manager I just had the WORST experience of my life at your Firestone location. The manager not only treated me like I was dumb, but also gave me a completely WRONG diagnosis on my car. Two days ago I went in because my check engine light came on. They scanned it and told me my crash sensor was broken. I drive an older car – I knew immediately that was impossible because my car doesn’t even HAVE a crash sensor. I told the manager right away, but he couldn’t care less. He told me to take it to a body shop to replace it and charged me $130.18 for that nonsense. I left Firestone and went straight to one of the best body shops around. They confirmed what I already knew: my car does not have a crash sensor. They told me to wait for the light to come back and then scan it again at a different shop. That’s exactly what I did, and the new code showed up immediately – my shutter grille is broken. This makes sense, because I replaced that part about 6 months ago. Shutter grille and crash sensor are two TOTALLY different things. I went back to Firestone today with proof from the other shops. Instead of listening, the manager was unbelievably rude – basically yelling at me, telling me to leave, and refusing a refund. When I showed proof that my car doesn’t even have a crash sensor, he insisted that a crash sensor and a shutter grille are “the same thing.” That’s just absurd. He refused to look it up, refused to admit the mistake, and acted like I was stupid. I cannot believe a company as big as Firestone has someone like that running a store. This is beyond unacceptable. I have all the proof and will be attaching some below. • Firestone’s wrong diagnosis • Correct code for the shutter grille from another mechanic • Documentation showing that crash sensor and shutter grille are completely different parts I expect this to be taken seriously. I want a full refund for the $130.18 I paid for a fake diagnosis, and I don’t want to ever deal with that manager again. This was absolutely outrageous, and I will go after all my rights if this is not resolved.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an outstanding experience at Firestone on Morris Avenue in Springfield! For less than $400, I was able to get FOUR brand-new tires mounted and balanced with road hazard protection included. The value and professionalism here are second to none. To put things in perspective: Pep Boys wanted to charge me nearly $600 for only THREE tires, and that didn’t even include road hazard coverage. The difference in price, service, and transparency was night and day. Firestone not only saved me hundreds of dollars, but they also treated me with respect and provided quick, efficient service. I highly recommend this location—don’t waste your time or money with Pep Boys when Firestone delivers better quality and better prices every time.

Kenny was super helpful with my tire service at Firestone! He took the time to explain everything clearly, helped me understand what was going on with my car, and gave me honest, practical advice. I really appreciated his patience and professionalism. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free.

I dropped my car off at this location many times over the years. The past year I haven’t driven as much. I dropped my car off on 10/8/24 for breaks and rotors, a wheel alignment and oil change. They called me and said they did a full vehicle inspection for free but on the receipt I was charged $9.99. However, they contacted me to tell me I needed ball joints and tie rod on left front. The work was quoted at $2400-$2600. I told them o did not have that kind of money and asked what could wait. The spanish looking guy who called me seemed angry with a bad tone yelling about how everything needs to be done. After I explained that normally they would tell me what needs work today and what can come back later he started talking about all these discounts and the brake brakes can wait. Now the price is $1819 for oil change, 1 ball joint, 1 tie rod, and both from breaks and oil change. I believe this was way too much for this work that I’ve had done before. I picked up my car on Thursday evening 10/10/24 and I made 2 stops on the way home which is 6.7miles. I pulled out of my driveway on Saturday 10/12/24 and noticed a small puddle of what looked like oil in my driveway. I thought maybe it’s not that big a deal, then on that following Wednesday 10/16/24 I pulled out the driveway again and the puddle was just a tad bit bigger. On 10/18/24 I pulled out to go to my second job and the puddle was even bigger. On 10/19/24 the puddle was huge so I contacted Firestone in Springfield and was told my gaskets could be bad. I proceeded to go near Firestone for something else but the car started putting hysterically and the car was smelling like fish and I had no AC any longer. I lifted the hood when I pulled over and it was oil leaking out the engine it seemed and sprayed all over the inside of the hood. I immediately took my car to them. I get there and ask why my car would be doing this and the Spanish looking guy again said that the gaskets might be blown. Then I said why wouldn’t you detect bad gaskets if you did an overall inspection. Then he tried to coerce me to agree “to get into a mind-set that it happens”. But I was not buying that because I told him before I couldn’t afford $2600 of work and I believed they did something to my car to get me back there for more work just to keep charging me more money. After about 1 hour this guy calls me back and says “you need a new radiator and condenser totaling close to $1500 of work”. Now I’m trying to figure out how I go from gaskets to a radiator and condenser. Then he goes into saying that I must’ve it something and I told him I did not because I work 3 doors down from my house and I work to work my car barely moved the entire week. Then he went on to say someone else may have access to my car. He was laying it on think. So I told him no one else has access to my car because I carry my keys with me everyday. Then he tries to blame the issues on the front bumper damage which I had on this car since August 13, 2022 and they have done oil changes and work on my car since the. And never have I had any issues with my radiator or condenser. I believe these people destroyed my car all because I refused certain work so that I could afford the most critical work back on 10/8/24 when I initially dropped off my car. I will be contacting the BBB and Consumer Affairs because these guys even Kennis were names in several bad reviews I’ve already read. Now I can’t even drive my car and it was driveable and not doing any of this prior to me dropping my car off to them.
