I cannot say enough great things about Chris and Kathy and their transmission repair shop. From the moment I walked in, they were friendly, honest, and incredibly professional. It’s not easy to find a repair shop you can truly trust, especially when it comes to something as major as transmission work, but they made the entire process stress-free.
Chris is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly without any pressure or upselling. Kathy was just as wonderful—so helpful, organized, and genuinely caring. Together, they run a shop that feels both professional and welcoming.
The work was done efficiently, the pricing was fair, and my car is running perfectly again. It’s clear they take pride in what they do and treat their customers like family.

I called Chris with a problem with my alarm and my car not starting, and Not only was he able to diagnose the problem while on the phone with me, he walked me through what to do and how to fix it. He was so helpful and saved me so much money from having to go somewhere else for a repair that I didn't need. Good, honest, repair guys and shops still exist and Ace service center and Chris are at the top of the list!!!

Chris is a very honest guy. He doesn't try to bs you about what's wrong with the car like a lot of mechanics do. He obviously knows honesty will get him very far with customers. Reasonably priced and him and the other mechanics are pretty fast with the work.
I went to a place in Clark who told me I needed a new transmission. I didn't think that was correct, just a gut feeling. I then went to ACE and Chris said the trans looked fine for all the miles (250,000) so let me have a day or two with it to see what I can do. It turned out to be several misfires so he changed all the plugs, a sensor and a coil. $280 in parts vs $3500 for a new transmission. He really knows his trade and I highly recommend this business.
