Towed my husbands car during a FLASH FLOOD EVENT without calling anyone that they had it, then wanted to charge over 600 dollars cash or venmo to release it and finally had to give them 200 to give up the title. Do not recommend.
Everyone has been so helpful and kind. When you’re going through a tough time and you lose your car in the flood, this whole company has been so wonderful

In regards to Owners response, who must have been lied to by employees, am a weekly renter, Every Week at same time. I was prechecked in, all documents uploaded, was on time and they never returned to the rental location or tried to contact customer. Just a total screw job. Sorry if your employees didn't communicate this. I am already in direct contact with director of customer service at uhaul. Hope you hear from em.
Be careful Bobby is not a trustworthy person he will damage your vehicle n tell you to get it fixed n take care of it then he Dias not make good on it now we will be taking him to small claims court for the damages that are on camera hire a real company that stands behind ther work not a scam artist co like Bobby pinching Pennie’s beware do not hire this company you will be sorry!!!!!! I am now with about $15,000 in damages
Very professional. I had rented a truck and had to cancel my reservation and there weren't any problems. I re rented a van and truck the next week. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. When I couldn't figure out what a light was on in the dashboard someone came out and explained it to me. I highly recommend them. Stan Misiuk
CES towing is the BEST location. I've been booking trailers with them for years and have never had a single issue. The staff are very friendly and especially helpful. The equipment is in great shape, no problems. Special thanks to Gary and the guys who help me back it into the lot when I return it!
We had CES booked to pick up our car on a Sunday afternoon and deliver it to a dealership for Monday morning repairs and they never showed up. They didn't return repeated calls on Sunday or Monday and we had to scramble to find another tow company on Monday morning. if you want someone to come when they say they will, do not book CES!
C.E.S. Towing recently completed a long distance transport of a vehicle for my organization. Bobby was extremely helpful in coordinating a pick-up prior to the actual day of transport and then departing early in the morning to arrive at our destination on time. The transport was conducted safely and all parties involved were friendly and helpful through the entire process. Highly recommend their services!
Bobby was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! We were driving through NJ when we got a flat tire on the highway at 9PM. Not knowing the area, we started to call local repair shops. Bobby was the first person to answer, and he stayed on the phone with us for awhile to figure out a solution— ordering the tires and arranging the quickest time for him to put on the new tires. It was a stressful situation, but working with him made it as painless as possible.
Had troubles with my 2003 Lincoln vehicle, the gear shift was jammed. I called C.E.S Towing and they got a mechanic out to me in less than 20 minutes. The mechanic, Bobby was able to fix it with no problem. I recommend this company! Nothing but AMAZING customer service from start to finish! They even followed up to make sure we were all good. Pricing was also affordable!
This company towed my car 20 feet after the flood on Wednesday we had to be rescued and almost drown and this company price gouged us and bullied me for $562 my car was totaled and they had no compassion they cursed at us it was horrific my video can be seen on Facebook of them verbally abusing me my name is Jennifer Hornsby of Garwood check it out
Excellent Service!! Bobby was very helpful and reliable. I rented a U-Haul from Jamaica, NY and as soon as I got on the NJ turnpike the wheel hub assembly failed causing catastrophic issues with the ABS system. Bobby towed the U-Haul with precision and expertise. Out of the whole nightmare I had with U-Haul, CES Towing was the best thing to happen. Trust these guys!
Honestly these guys helped me out a lot a few weeks back when I was stuck in a jam. I was in the middle of moving and made my move incredibly easier. I honestly recommend coming here before going anywhere else.
My new 2019 car’s electrical system was totally dead and it needed a tow to the dealer. However, the car was in the garage and had to be dragged out in order to get the car in position to be loaded on a flatbed truck. After I called for service, Bobby from CES Towing and Recovery showed up on-time, as promised, with a tow hook truck to drag the car out. He also had another CES driver come with a flatbed to assist with this daunting project. But, because my car is all-wheel drive, the wheels were locked and would not rotate. To make matters worse, the transmission could not be put in neutral to free up the wheels. Bobby built wooden skids to place under the wheels in order to allow the car to be dragged out of my garage. With the skids under the wheels and with much back-breaking effort, they finally managed to get the car out of the garage, onto the flatbed, and delivered to my dealer’s lot. What a crew! The CES guys were terrific and really outdid themselves. If you need a tow, CES is the company to call. I highly recommend them.
Bobby and his team are amazing! I've rented with CES twice now and each time has been a great experience. They make renting a truck and moving an easier task! Bobby is always quick to give suggestions and help you figure out what exactly you need! I always appreciate great service like that. It's also a convenient location for those in the Kenilworth/Cranford/RP area. They go above and beyond each time and Bobby is also hilarious so you're guaranteed to walk out smiling :)
