For the first time I sold a very small amount of scrap and I was served very well even though I am not an important customer, super nice and friendly people, if I have the opportunity, I will definitely use their services
Been scraping a long time and this was my first time going to bayway scrap and had a very pleasant and quick transaction. I was directed exactly where to dump and where to go to get paid, was greeted by a very friendly woman at the booth and got paid exactly what I was expecting! Highly recommend them and I will be going back again soon!
I never leave bad reviews but this place deserves less than a star. Brought a small amount of wire in for some $. Lady immediately told me it’s low grade wire (it wasn’t) and $0.60 a pound. Fine whatever. Put it on the scale and I watch HER weigh it to 66 lbs. She goes up into the office and hands me $24 telling me it was only 40 lbs. I ask if I can weigh it again and she says it was 40 lbs. I said ok I just want to weigh it again and she said you can take it back but not weigh it again. Took it to the place literally down the street and they gave me $119 ($1.80/lb at 66lbs). Don’t bother with this place. Complete and total crooks.
Been coming here for years and have always been treated fairly and they pay more than anyone else. It doesn’t matter if I bring in a bag of cans or a truck full of scrap metal they’re always friendly and fair.
