Couldn't even diagnose a dead battery in a key fob and referred to dealership. This place was great 10years ago, but absolutely sucks now. Revoke the franchise STS!

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE ! Went there to get my brakes fixed. Came to get my car, and it was screwed up - brake lights on , wouldn’t go off - called them, brought it back and they “fixed” it. They did NOT. They also told me that when I had originally brought my car to them the first time, that my brake lights were already on. Not only do they do a POOR job, they’re also LIARS ! They ruined my brakes & I had to go elsewhere to ACTUALLY get it fixed & pour more money into my car that I didn’t even cause. Come to find out, they stripped one of my lugnuts too!! NEVERRRRR EVERRRRR again. If I could give 0 stars, I WOULD! Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere !!!!! So upsetting. THIS PLACE HAS NO INTEGRITY !!!

Had a slow leak in my tire. Stopped in without an appointment. They took me right away. Very welcoming. Very accommodating. Very professional. Patched the tire for me within 20 minutes. Would highly recommend STS in Rockaway!!

It’s always a great service (and time lol) every time I go. Winston is always providing the best customer service. Friendly, outgoing, knowledgable, and reassuring. I have been going to this shop for years, and nothing compares to the attention and detail ever since Winston took over. The best!! Thank you Winston and team! The only place and person/people I trust with my car :)

Great customer service here! I highly recommend this shop for your vehicle needs. — I scheduled an appointment for new winter tires. Winston was extremely kind, helpful, and informative! He let me know once he received the tires and when I took the car in to have the new tires installed it was a fast and easy process!

These folks have been very good to me when I needed tires. There are very nice, knowledgeable, and have never tried to run up a larger bill. They have been able to get me in quickly and did the work very soon after arriving.

He explained everything clearly, treated us with respect, and made sure we felt taken care of. Would recommended STS to everyone that reads this. Needed to get two new tires mounted and balanced and all wheels balanced. Great pricing and my wheels were ready same day when I came back a few hours later. Kind staff, they’ve helped out a ton before even when I didn’t end up getting work by them. Super accommodating. As a mechanic who has a hard time trusting other shops, I would not hesitate bringing my vehicles here!

STS hooked me up!
I had a drillbit sticking out of my tire, so I put on a spare and drove over to STS.
They had my tire repaired and put back on my vehicle in no time!

I noticed a nail in my tire and called STS Auto on Route 46 in Dover. They got me in right away and took care of the issue instantly! Everyone was so friendly and professional. Two of the guys were especially kind and patient with my 3-year-old son, which really made the experience even better. Came to STS during my lunch hour due to a slow leak and within 35 minutes my tire was plugged and fixed. Eddie at the front desk was cheerful and helpful and assured me it was all gonna be done in time, and it was was!

I can not express the gratitude for finally finding professional mechanics as in Winston and Eddy. For years I've been having to correct errors at others auto centers but these pros got it right the first time. Thank you. I finally feel that I'm not being cheated or settling for subpar work.

Eddie, Winston and Joe are the best. One of my tires was damage. In lest of 30 minutes they find out the problem. They offer me difference options, and took the time to explain each one and work with me to get the best value. I’m so happy with the amazing work and new tire.

Highly recommend STS Tire. The tire prices are competitive. Winston and Eddie are friendly and polite and make you feel at ease. I purchased 2 tires which I did not like due to a skidding concern. They allowed me to exchange them for another set of tires at no additional charge. I was so relieved and happy with the replacement tires that I purchased 2 more tires. That is what customer service is all about!

Highly recommend. Had my tire pressure alarm go off on rt 80. One tire dropped to a 26. Got off and went to the Exxon to get air and then googled tire place since we were in the car driving to family an hour away and we had our 2 dogs with us. The staff were wonderful and took us right away. The let our 2 dogs wait with us inside. They determined it was a bad stem and got it fixed, and we were only an hour late to our intended destination. They are 15 minutes from where we live but when it’s time for tires to be replaced, this is where we are coming!

Thanks a lot to eddy for coming outside as soon as he saw me coming into the parking lot as soon as I came in and taking me in as soon as possible and for Winston on fixing the part I needed on my car. He came out to show me what he did and explained to me the further instructions. These are two individuals who go above and beyond on making their customers happy. Loved to see

May 2024, my car starts to make a loud sound when turning it on and when accelerating. I know I just replaced the muffler, but it sounded like the issue. This time I take the car to STS which is across the street at 416 US 46 in Dover NJ. I called and spoke with TERRELL. He stated that he was the assistant manager. I explained to him THOROUGHLY what was going on. I wanted to get the car looked at and get a diagnostic before going back to Mavis if the work that was done 3 MONTHS prior is having an issue. Terrell ensured me he was putting this information into the system that I was providing. I told him I was dropping the car off that night and asked if he needed my account information. He said no and they can look it up by the license plate. The next morning, I get a call from the store manager EDDY asking me why the car was there and what was going on, he saw nothing in the system. I THOROUGHLY TOLD TERREL WHAT THE ISSUES WERE. At this point this was time wasted as I am now having to stop work to repeat everything, I just provided the night before and Eddy confirmed there were no details put on my account.
EDDY then calls me back to say that the resonator needs to be replaced (THIS IS A PART I BROUGHT 3 YEARS PRIOR) HOW IS THIS PART ALREADY FAULTY FOR A CAR THAT DOESN’T DRIVE THAT MUCH AS I WORK HYBRID AND DO NOT DRIVE THIS CAR OUT OF STATE OR FAR FROM HOME.
Then EDDY proceeds to tell me that I also need BOTH front and back breaks as my breaks are completely GONE. And how he was so afraid while test driving my car. I knew this not to be true and told them do not work on the car I was coming to pick it up.
I am highly escalated and appalled at the way TERREL spoke to me not only as a WOMAN but as a customer! He was extremely sarcastic and rude. I have NEVER been talked this way especially by a place that I patronize! I spend MONEY with your company as this is the only company that services my car! HENCE WHY I HAVE THE MAVIS CARD!! I asked TERRELL why the information was not put in the system that I provided him as he rudely says he did NOT have to put it in the system because he wrote it down. I asked him where he wrote it. He proceeds to show me a notebook he thought he wrote it in, which he turned some pages before getting to a page where the information I provided was randomly written on a random page in the middle of this notebook. IS THIS THE SERVICE STS PROVIDES TO CUSTOMERS? IS THIS PROTOCOL WHEN TAKING INFORMATION FROM CUSTOMERS REGARDING MECHNICAL ISSUES THAT NEED TO BE LOOKED AT AND EVALUTED THEN FIXED?
I then leave this location and go across the street to the Dover NJ Mavis. I’m quite familiar with the store manager Lenny. He put the car up for me and took off a front AND back tire and advised that what EDDY said about the breaks were NOT true! He showed me the breaks (photos attached). EDDY TRIED TO CONVINCE ME TO GET WORK DONE ON A CAR THAT DID NOT NEED TO BE DONE AT THE MOMENT. THIS IS MAL PRACATICE, THIS IS LYING, THIS IS CONSUMER FRAUD! I will proceed with an attorney to investigate this matter.
Waiting to know if these parts in the photos that they CLAIM were brand new are actually NEW. Asked proof and have yet to receive that.
I received a call a week ago from Shawn the regional manager and Rob the regional director. I am awaiting a follow up regarding the parts. Hoping to hear from them sooner than later regarding all of this! I HAVE LOST ALL FAITH IN MAVIS AND STS!
