Cannot say enough about how I was treated from finish to end … Took my daughters 2005 ultima which is now my Buzz around car …. Upon knowing the gremlins in this car Service light showing ABS brakes are showing all type of electrical stuff but nothing to do with the performance of the car. I took to one mechanic already, knowing what was wrong with the car and he told me something completely different even hooked up the computer, but was very vague and wouldn’t let me see then When I made a decision to take it over to bargain auto see what they would say right away he hooked up the computer was polite and courteous. He even told me to if I wanted to leave the car that day before the parts were ordered so the parts got there about 430 not enough time to do the job so he called me immediately to let me know that the job will be done the next day and sure enough it was he didn’t try to sell me on things that I didn’t need We were on the same page !!!!! …. I’m here out I I will go nowhere else. I do really appreciate his time is honesty and the price the job that he did for the rear coils is not an easy one in a Nissan because you have to take a lot out to get to where he’s gotta go because the engine is so packed into the car…. The car was done in a timely manner. I picked it up back to driving like a clock. !!!! Thank you to all the guys at bargain & Tariq ( owner)
Tariq, Z, and the whole rest of the crew are the nicest, most honest, most skilled mechanics you could hope for. I've been going to them for as long as I can remember. I drive all over the United States for my job, and I am always heartened to know that these guys send me off feeling safe and ready to drive 10,000 miles or more in a trip. I recommend all of my friends and family go, and now I recommend you do, too. This is not a paid endorsement, just a happy customer...and adopted friend of the team.
I recently visited this shop for a routine repair and unfortunately had a frustrating experience. I wonder about the other reviews on here or is it the owner caters to certain people?? ?
Despite the owner being personable and friendly, the quality of the work was lacking. I had to return multiple times for what should have been a simple job. The mechanics seemed to overlook basic details, which led to repeated mistakes and delays. This lack of attention to detail and care made the process much more stressful than it needed to be. Very clumsy and careless attitudes.
Customers should not have to make multiple trips for a straightforward task. I do NOT recommend this shop.

My experience could not have been better. Called on the phone for a broken part, Tariq ordered it immediately over the phone. Brought it to the shop the next day and was done in a few hours. Very reasonable prices and easy process. 11/10 would recommend going here.
We had a major issue with our motorhome and pulled into the first garage we could find off the highway. Even though they're not set up to work on RV's (won't fit inside), they worked on it in the parking lot and got us back on our way. We are so thankful for Tariq and his team!!!

Great hidden gem in central NJ. Owner and mechanics are knowledgeable and honest. I have gotten work done on my BMW, Escalade and Honda over the years. They always call and explain their findings before doing the work and advise on repairs that can be done in the future. Highly recommended for all auto repairs.

The best auto repair place that I have ever been to. Based on my experience, these folks are the cheapest and most professional of all. I've been driving for over 26 years and have experienced repairs on my cars over the years. This is the most trusted and top of the list. They work with you on your options. Many people come from far away for repairs and swear by the quality of repairs. One time I the OTHER REPAIR SHOP gave me a estimate for $1,560. These guys did it for $600. Big difference. The owner is knowledgeable and honest. A truly rare combination in auto repair business. He would frequently suggest that I don't do a certain repair because it isn't really worth it. He does the job right and for a good price.
Mechanics can be tough to choose from these days due to all the shady stuff that takes place with customers (especially women), however, these guys are the best in Bound Brook! No hidden fees, no lies, no extra costs, etc.

i used to get my oil changes here, brakes, etc. I ended up having a serious engine problem. I had the car towed here, was told that i needed a new engine. I agreed to the price (although $1450 was in labor alone)and let them know that i needed the car late February (car was towed there in late January). I called over and over again to see the status and the response was always "im waiting for a call back, i called a couple people" week by week passed and finally i was told "i got an engine but didnt like how it looked so i sent it back, now im looking for another". Was a month not enough time to fix a car? THEN asks me for a $2,000 deposit AFTER 2 months of having my car??!!! this was never discussed and quite frankly im not paying anyone until the job is done! I told them the urgency i needed the car as i was dumping money into car rentals. finally found someone to do the job for HALF the price and got the car out of there ASAP. Friends told me not to use this place but the location was convenient and never had an issue before. (except when they did a tune up on the engine and forget to put antifreeze in the radiator so my car overheated while i was driving). They dont pay attention to detail and take the "fast" way out. Will not recommend this place to anyone. Not even an enemy.
Any time I have any problem with my car I take it to this place. They are honest and don't tell me anything extra what I don't need. Last week I called them after hours almost 8 in the evening. Someone answered my call and helped me with my car. Where you will find this kind of service.

I have been going to Bargain Auto for about 10 yrs now n they are the BEST. Honest, diligent, optimal price, nice people to talk to, n always accomodative. They dont rip you off by selling something which isnt needed. Even if you do ask to check on something, they will come back to you n say its not needed if it isnt needed. Very unlike others.
