What clients say about Burnt Mills Cider in Bedminster (NJ)

Cider is great but they should have hours where it’s adults-only or have an age limit. Sometimes you walk in and wonder if you accidentally stumbled into a day care where parents let their kids run wild indoors or outdoors with no regard of others trying to enjoy their visit.

Nice outdoor area, small indoor area. Dog friendly, only cider, they have ginger ale in cans. They seem to have food trucks certain days. One covered area with lighting. Huge outdoor area with tables / picnic tables and string lights on perimeter. Small game area with corn hole.

Absolutely wonderful location. Came for a work event and the space is very beautiful outside. Lots of areas to sit and enjoy. Saw people of all age groups here from infants to elderly. Very laid back atmosphere. Lots of cider choices. All tasted very delicious from the sounds of my coworkers. I decided to buy a 4pack of the flavor I tried which apparently was on trial. I didn’t see it in the fridge, but asked and they showed me where to find it as the cans for special batches are not specifically marked.

Excellent cider experience. Went on a Saturday afternoon in November, parking ng can be difficult, be patient. Bring lawn chairs, small table, and food/snacks. Plenty of space outside to set it all up. They are pet friendly too.

An awesome, laid back place. Hard ciders and donuts, food truck as well. Dog friendly. Well priced and I suggest getting there early for parking sake. Just a comment, ownership should gravel the driveway, dust created is pretty bad.

Above and beyond staff / Matt, Kelsey, and Oliver (really everyone!) went above and beyond to help me with tables and chairs for our reserved event. Kelsey and Matt were especially helpful as we worked through a miscommunication and I highly recommend them, their space, and delicious cider ?

Everything we tried we liked. Tons of room outside for every one. Gets understandably busy in Sat and Sun. Bring a blanket or chairs. Flights served inside and pints outside. Food truck schedules are on the website. Parking looked like it was gonna be crazy but lots of people in and out sometimes just picking up four packs. Def recommend especially when it's a nice day out. If you are getting a flight make sure you have something to put them on in the grass area.

Excellent, creative ciders with plenty of space to hang out with friends, family, and doggos on a nice day. There's typically a food truck on prem, or you could bring your own food/snacks to enjoy with the delicious libations. Consider bringing a picnic blanket or camp chairs on the weekends, as picnic tables tend to fill up. All their ciders are great, and it's nice to be able to try a flights of different flavors. I'm a really big fan of the Lavender Haze ?

Great cider, and usually has a food stand for light fare. Dog friendly outside, and bring your own chair/blanket on busy days.

Really good vibes here and super great cider. The only reason I knocked off one star is cause it is so hard to find seating here. Maybe we just came at a super busy time but all of the seats outside were taken and inside it was so chilly. People were bringing their own chairs and even tables which I didnt expect but Ive also never been here before. Highly recommend getting a flight! Great way to taste the ciders and then get a pitcher of your favorites. I love that they also had a food truck there if you got hungry or its bring your own food

This place is lovely. A variety of ciders in tap 7.95$ for a pint and then around $14 to try a flight. Theres a small indoor seating area. Outside people bring camo chairs and full set ups across a huge front lawn. Various food trucks stop by. Has the opportunity to eat Angry Archie’s seafood truck. Highly recommend the lobster Mac and cheese. Super fun time on the weekend. Recommend stopping by.

Such a fun place to hang out with friends! The ciders are delicious and they usually have a food truck. Definitely recommend!

There are very few places that check all the boxes. Amazing service and friendly staff, food trucks that consistently deliver top-tier food, but in my personal opinion, the atmosphere is intoxicating. With the jaw-dropping sunsets, the peaceful environment, beautiful firepits, and yard games, there is nowhere I would rather be with friends and family while out for food and drinks. To the staff and management, THANK YOU for being amazing and kind. THANK YOU for always serving the best and highest quality drinks AND NEVER lacking in customer service. You are my number one establishment by FAR. Thank you so much for making many of my evenings and afternoons amazing and unforgettable.

An excellent place to share with the family, very quiet and safe for children. We enjoyed the weather, the vegetation and tasted delicious cider drinks. An excellent option to celebrate birthdays or any occasion. Free parking and ideal for taking your pet.

Amazing selection of ciders and beautiful outdoor space. Make sure you pack chairs and sunblock if you’ll sit outside. They do get crowded because of how great they are. Special shoutouts to the lavender haze flavor, black currant, the hunt (cranberry chai) and general George (cherry vanilla). Some of the best flavors and variety I have seen.

Went on a sat evening around the 4 July long weekend, with my large dog. This place is pet friendly in every sense. It wasn’t too crowded and we found a table to sit. Tried 2 flights of refreshing ciders.. liked the pear and Mango the best. Large area to walk around with my dog with a rural setting. We carried our own food, which is a big plus as I don’t always like to buy food outside. They don’t have food on-site but there are food trucks on certain days. The staff was kind to my dog. Sufficient parking was available. Looking to make this our go to place for ciders.

This place is super great, the cider is delicious with a bunch of different choices and the outdoor area is big with cute string lights and picnic tables. I only wish they stayed open later, closing at 8pm is pretty early.

Burnt Mills Cider is one my favorite spots to hang out in New Jersey. If it’s your first time, spring for the flight and enjoy a variety of unique ciders, including classic Semi-Dry and seasonal flavors like Lavender Haze, The Hunt (made with NJ Cranberries), General George (made with NJ cherries) and Apple Cider Donut, which is my favorite. Don’t forget to hit the cooler and grab a growler or 4 pack to go. ? Dog friendly ?? Kid friendly ? BYO food ? Food truck available ?You can bring chairs and blankets This a gathering place for the community and everyone is welcome!!!!

We got to enjoy some ciders here at Brunt Mills. My wife and I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy and a full parking lot so we got a spot outside of the road with a few other people that did the same. Even with all the people here we were still served fast with a line and all. This is definitely a place where you need to bring some lawn chairs. They do have food trucks every weekend that changes up and the truck I went to took cards and cash. They sell some good hard ciders to take home or I say just grab a flight so you can taste them all and for $14 a flight you can’t go wrong. Very nice establishment and I could see myself stopping in again in the future.

A fun way to spend a Sunday! There are no reservations and open seating so come early if you want a spot under the shade. Otherwise, you can bring whatever blanket and chairs to set up for the day. They have so many hard cider options and the fall seasonal ones are the best. My favorite right now is the apple cider donut flavor. The staff is super friendly and helpful with helping you find the right cider for you! I would just recommend bringing your own food/snacks. The food truck that was there the day we went was a bit pricey and we waited 75 minutes in line and for our food (they were taking orders and making them by the person). It's also dog and family friendly. They also have a little section for corn hole.

They are truly the best! The staff is absolutely incredible. I celebrated my birthday with them, and their attention to detail was outstanding. They called to confirm and notified me about the featured food truck of the day, patiently addressing all my inquiries with enthusiasm. On the day of the event, the tables were set up flawlessly exactly where I requested, and the staff members were exceptionally friendly and organized. I cannot recommend them enough!!!! Without a doubt, they serve the finest cider in NJ, and their staff is unparalleled!

My family and I enjoyed our time here! We had lunch from the food truck & enjoyed our drinks! Our 2 kids played with a ball and enjoyed their time too. I’d say bring camping or beach chairs, seems like that’s one everyone does! It was a sunny day so definitely a perfect day to be outside. Plenty of parking and very spacious. Definitely will be returning as we really enjoyed our time here.

Looking for a great autumn day with your friends (who are 21 and older)? Then Burnt Mills is your place. But get there at (or before) opening. The good parking fills up quickly here and the earlier you arrive, the better choices of places to stake out for the afternoon. Of course, it is weather dependent, even though you can sit and drink outside, the real ambiance is the lawn. They have chairs, fire pits, lawn games and more. It is a really family friendly place, but the highlight is all of the different ciders you can try. My friends love getting the same flights and drinking them together for reviews. Make sure to bring your snacks and own comforts and enjoy this treasure in the hills of Chester, NJ. On weekends they usually have a food truck if you don't wanna bring your own eats. And if you really like a cider, you can buy a can or a growler and bring it home with you.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a couple of years now, and I finally made it today! We tried a couple of flights and all the flavors were pretty good, varying from sweet to dry. Parking can be really tough on a nice day, so try to come early. There was a food truck parked in the lot, but the lines were long. If you bring chairs, water, and your own snacks you should be all set. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Fantastic cidery - great spot to sip ciders on a warm spring day and would definitely be back for summer as well. We had the cider flight with strawberry lemonade (my favorite), pineapple, maple bourbon, and black currant. This place is especially great for sweet ciders. Enjoyed the fire pits and it is dog friendly as well.

Fantastic cider mill. We’ve been coming here for a few years now. Always delicious. They have their standard go to ciders, dry, semi dry, and sour cherry. And most recently black currant. This last time we got their new flavors including, cider mule and bourbon. They also sell sweet swag which is not too expensive and super comfy. We took a few pints home with us too!

Usually, I do not like cider’s!! But this was part of the circuit we had picked and had to go to this place. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. When we checked in the map - it was within a farm! But boy were we impressed by what we saw!! I did go for the Hops cider - the closest I could get to the beer! Well, it was ok … but my friends truly enjoyed their ciders ? this place is perfect for a picnic. So get your chairs, blankets and the picnic baskets and visit this place ?

Heads up! If you're planning on coming here Friday evening or the weekend and you want to sit outside, bring your own lawn chairs/picnic blanket. That said, not enough good things can be said about this place. The cider is fantastic, the staff are friendly and quick to hand you alcohol, and they even had a pizza truck outside when we went. Sitting outside on a nice day is the perfect way to relax. We're definitely going to be regulars here!

Beautiful and peaceful location. The staff members are so nice and gave great suggestions. I’m not the biggest hard cider fan but it was a wonderful experience regardless. Love that they have flights, giving us the opportunity to try out four different flavors. I think my favorite was the Sour Cherry which is a seasonal flavor. Unfortunately they don’t sell those in cans yet! Nowadays, I do like to comment on COVID situations and they do really well on social distancing with the expansive outdoor seating area. Staff members do not wear masks now but honesty, the indoors doesn’t feel as stuffy as you’d think it might. I had my mask on while indoors but felt safe enough to pull it down while chatting and ordering my drinks.

I love this place. Its for every age group and occasion. You can come to celebrate a birthday, nice date or just hang with friends. The cider options are delicious and the price is also reasonable. You can either seat on tables or have a nice picnic on the grass. Sometimes they bring a food truck too. There is no food inside so, come prepared. The parking lot is pretty big and you can always find a spot even if is crowded.
