Dropped off some stainless steel scrap to be recycled. Received a fair price per pound. It’s easy in and easy out. A good place to drop off excess and unwanted metal.
I called ahead and spoke to him and gave him specifics about the type of brass I had to which he replied $1.90/ pd. The weight of my brass was close to 80 pounds ( weighed before coming in here ) and it showed 45 pounds on his scale. Further more, price changed to $1.80. These guys are say one thing and do another. Extremely immoral, shady, and disgusting business practice. You have been warned.

First time scraping. Guy who worked the front desk was polite and very informative. We were in and out in a matter of minutes and the cash was in my hands before I could make it to the front desk.

First timers; Wait for your turn , back it up to the scale and wait for the gentleman inside tells you to “go ahead” , Keep backing up carefully and dump your lite Iron.
For Aluminum / cables/ coppers and other valuable scrap go around the building where you see forklift guys and hand over your left over scrap.
Its that simple.
first time scrapping and it was a very easy experience. back up on the scale, wait til the guy on the loudspeaker tells you to proceed, dump your metal, hop back on the scale, wait, then hit the office to collect earnings. EASY. kudos to the hardworking guys in there. will continue to do business with these guys from now on.
Great place to get rid of that scrap you've been collecting. Guys in the yard are polite and helpful, the gentleman that runs the place is running the ship smoothly. will be coming here from now on for sure. prices are good.
I normally don’t review businesses, but these guys in Passaic went out of their way just as they were closing up on a Saturday to help me get my truck started after it broke down. Good people.
