I came to the yard with enough time to unload before they close. since it was my first time by a scrapyard. I asked the worker how it worked. he asked me to show him what I had once he saw what I had he said no I can't drop it off! Because he saw a metal boxspring with a wooden border and cloth. i told him I would take it back with me but he refused to let me in claiming I would go over time with the amount of stuff I had I replied that I had 4 guys with me to help and pleaded with him that I needed to return the truck that day or I would have to pay another day but he and his coworker didn't care and closed the window on me saying they have the right what ever that means. I quickly went to another scrapyard and had no issue i unloaded before this place even CLOSE'S! they didn't either allow the boxspring so I just put it back in to the truck no issue in short they decide who to let in and when not very professional at all

Guy on the phone fed me a line of B.S. regarding catalytic converter recycling "requirements".
I run an exhaust repair shop, and was looking for a recycling center that's closer to my shop than the center I was using for the past several years.
Ended up calling a recycling center that's even closer to my shop, and wouldn't you know it, they take them without any of the B.S. this guy was trying to tell me is "required" for "every" recycling center.
I get that converter theft issues are a thing, and some places might try to use scare tactics from keeping them from bringing in stolen converters, but don't feed someone you don't even know who runs a business, a line of crap that ends up taking business away from you.
The best yard I've been to up here. The staff is awesome, helpful and knowledgeable. Had a few pieces of unknown metal they helped me with. They keep the prices up on the webpage to keep everything honest too. Never left this place with nothing less than a smile and a good bit of cash.
Had a great first experience here and will be going back. The only scrap yard I would reccomend in the area and have visited others. Honest people and pleasant to deal with.

They didnt have parts only scrap metal or steel, however; the man inside was very inviting, and polite-he gave me a few leads for other neighboring salvage yards with parts.
