Had a pleasant experience while being here...

I went in there an hour before they closed and the gentleman who assisted me was so helpful and did not judge me because I'm a woman and buying oil for my car. He did not treat me like I didn't know what I was doing and very willing to look things up just to confirm I was doing everything right when I questioned it.

On the morning of 8-23 I came in the store looking for a part I needed. I went to the counter said good morning and was sent to that aisle it was supposed to be in. When I couldn't find it I asked again when your employee said take your sunglasses off you might see it then. I have bad eyesight they were prescribed. May also say he sent me to the wrong aisle. Can't make it up. I'll only buy something here if no one doesn't have it. See ya.

Above and beyond expectations. Went in for a battery check: GOOD ✓ He checked other immediate systems and found alternator GOOD and starter WEAK. Now I know what needs to be done next. Thank you 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

Worst place went to get oil and filter 5mins they turned off the lights so you can't get in ! Really you still have costumers inside the store 😒-forkenriver store

EDITED BELOW::: I bought breaks and brake caliper pens and they did not want to give me my cash back for my brake caliper pins but told me that they would give me my cash back for the brakes but instead it went on to a gift card and sent to my email..... EDIT: Yes I will Shop at Advanced Auto in the future for my " I need it now and not Rock Auto Later" purchases but with a little more Detail. I bought 2 sets of Break Caliper Pin Kits. 1st on 11/13/24 and the 2nd on 11/16/24, on the receipt it said Limited Warranty if Defective and both were taken back on 2/15/25 cause the brake's and 1 set of Caliper Pin Kits was defective. The employee refused to give me the cash I paid for the parts and told me I could get cash back on my bank card that he had on file but I paid with a gift card and it was an online order so I didn't quite understand till the customer service people explained. So the employee told me wrong..

I've never felt compelled to leave a review for an auto part store. However, my experience here was stellar. The workers at this location were amazing. They helped every customer get exactly what they need, while helping with installation and troubleshooting in the parking lot. All done at a very fast pace, with no waiting. I was blown away by their knowledge and helpfulness.

I usually have great experiences at this AutoZone location, but my recent visit was disappointing due to an encounter with an employee named Dennis. When I asked for help finding a specific ratchet size, Dennis was dismissive and refused to assist. My team and I were clearly struggling, but instead of helping, he walked away. Thankfully, his colleague noticed and kindly stepped in to help us. Later in the day, when we went to drop off oil in the tank, Dennis was rude about us heading to the back. I understand the need to limit access to merchandise areas, but he could have been more polite or even accompanied us to make sure everything was handled properly. As I was leaving, I noticed Dennis smoking a cigarette with half his body still inside the store. Not only was this unprofessional and unpleasant, but it also triggered my asthma. As a regular customer, this experience was frustrating and disappointing. I hope management addresses this behavior to maintain the helpful service I’ve come to expect from this location.

Absolute 5 star experience. The guys were extremely personable, helpful, patient and super knowledgeable. They recommended exactly what I needed in a genuine way. Even wished me well on my trip to Philly! Thanks guys. Your help was greatly appreciated

It took a while for someone to come to the counter there's one guy was taking care of a customer and it seemed like it was like a half hour they need his phone number and he couldn't figure it out and finally after waiting like I said it seemed like a half hour then someone finally came to take care of me

Went in at 4:45 tonight the man working said do you need help or you know what you want? I said I think I need help with a battery, he said" I ain't gonna install it I'm crippled And I work with HER" So wrong in so many directions! 😞 Do better!

I needed a new battery and purchased it online to be picked up at the Lanoka Harbor location. John was busy but was able to make the time to install the new battery and later adjusted the price to give me the refund for the old battery after I had left. So glad I went here.

Eddie the sales associate was super helpful and made my visit there a little less anxiety producing. I am not a car girl but I was picking up stuff for my bf and was a little lost. Then Eddie helped bring my purchase out to the car.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. They have had all the parts I needed in stock, and if not they can get them in quickly.

Well stocked and easy access to the store. Plenty of parking. I only saw one counter guy and he had zero personality and never said a word so it made me feel uncomfortable so I didn't ask the questions I had. Otherwise I'd have given it 5 ☆.

Very knowledgeable staff and they go the extra mile to help you out. Most times persons like me do not know the industry name for thingys and doohickies, and they are able to translate and get you what you want.

Advance Auto I call ahead talk to them on the phone I told him what I need do they have it they don't they told me they can get it for me the next day they never let me down and they always have stuff on sale and if you have a problem with something that you purchased you can take it back plus they have loaner tools tools that you may not have they have and no loan them out the people are knowledgeable don't take the time to talk to you go over some of them will even come out and look at your car to put your battery in don't put your windshield wipers on those are like back in the old twenties in the thirties and forties in the fifties when they used to do things like that that's something that really means something

It was alright I must say every time I visit I get a great service but for some reason this time was not so go to that person leave your personal problems at home

The gentleman who helped me was wonderful. He helped me with a car cover and a Polish to clean my car. And it worked thank you. I did not get his name. He had a beard and told me his sister's name was same as me. Maureen he should be commended for excellent customer service!!!!!

Very helpful staff. Very knowledgeable. The prices weren't bad. They pretty much have everything you would need. Very convenient.

Clean, well stocked shelves. Clear pricing labels on peg boards and shelves. Sale circulars available as you enter the store. Many free services: free loaner tool sets, free wiper blade installation, free testing of battery, alternator and starter. Free battery installation (unsure if there is a disposal fee for old battery. Staff was knowledgeable, and service was quick, no waiting. Frequent shopper card available called SPEED PERKS. Many on-going specials and rebates. Store is located on rt9, but it is easy to miss if you are not looking. Sign is close to the road, but the store is back a bit.

Working on my 07 Tahoe didn't realize the the top ball joint is one piece. Call Don late in the evening. He said come on over we'll take care of you were here till 9p. Thxs. For being there Don

Met Pete yesterday. He was extremely knowledgeable. Mast folk behind the counter just are there to sell. Pete has the knowledge which is so rare in most parts departments. Someone in Corporate needs to give that man a bonus.

Went to get a new battery because I knew mine was bad due to the fact that my car was extremely slow to start. They tested it by hooking up the positive cable to the negative terminal and the negative cable to the positive terminal. He then said the battery was fine when it read 536 CCA but the battery was rated for 800. The sales rep was not friendly or helpful at all. The battery in my car was bought at Advance 3 years ago so I thought they would be helpful but I was wrong. I went to Autozone down the street and they said my battery was bad. They were nice and friendly so I will be going there from now on.
