yeah, that's the best auto repair place I've ever seen. fully recommend.

I own a npr box truck. So do 23 other vendors at my warehouse. Ive been told to come here for 2 years by all of them and I regret never stopping in. I wasn’t there 20 minutes before they pulled my truck in to diagnose my issue. Harry is the most mellow guy you can meet. No bs and straight to the point. * let me edit this and add. I also brought the family car there to get some work done. Both my work truck and personal car were done in less than 6 days. They both run great, and I definitely didn’t get scammed for my money like most shops . Great price!!

Old man owner very roudly behavior and bad place for in and out and also no have space for parking. Bad experience waste time

This shop took care of me and my kenworth. Took my kenworth in at 10am. They diagnosed it, got the part and fixed my truck before rush hour. The owner and his team of Technicians were straight forward with me and got the job done in no time.

Great service, when my alternator gave way on the NJ TRPK tow operator brought me to the shop, they ordered and replaced the alternator while I waited, had me back on the road in a few hours all at a fair price.

This guy was incredibly! I dont normally leave reviews this is the exception!! I was traveling from long Island NY to South Carolina. 3.5 hours from home my fan belt went and I overheated. Tow truck dropped me at A1 approximately 1am. They opend at 8am. 7:30 they showed up to open the shop, I explained my situation and asked how long. My Truck was pulled in to the shop immediately assessed, the part was ordered from the dealer and arrived at 11:30. They stopped what they were doing installed the pully and Belt, the best part is they charged me exactly what this repair should have cost!! They didn't overcharge a dime so honest and Trustworthy!! Thank you so much!

A1A auto and truck was the best. As a truck driver we are everywhere but if you ever break down in jersey this is the place to go. Very professional, knowledgeable, and they make you feel at home. And we're fast. They had me back on the road on same day.

I want to give them a 0, but felt obligated to leave a review. Terrible customer service. Not even worth the call. Person on the phone kept cutting me off when I was trying to ask for service and then hung up on me when I asked them to repeat their question. If you need a mechanic that can provide quality work in a speedy fashion do not use this vendor.

I came here highly recommended by my coworker. They had my tire installed and my wheels balanced within half an hour for $27 (or was it $25? It's been a few weeks.) That's all I've been here for, but Harry's attitude easily makes me want to come back next time I need a repair.

I wish I could put 0⭐️ Harry the owner is a thief. His labor charges are ridiculous and his mark up on parts are 3 X the actual parts price from the dealer or parts supplier. This guy installed a starter and charged me 1298.24 Starter price from the dealer ranges from $250-350 and 2 hours labor which would make that a $550 job. Look at his invoice I had to pay. DONT GO THERE STAY AWAY

A 1 Auto &Truck Repair did an excellent job on the engine of my Ford V-10 rig! After decades in the Trucking industry Harry and his staff really know their stuff. Will be a faithful customer going forward! Would recommend this business to family, neighbors and friends! Top shelf!!

When we arrived we were wary of what to expect. We had a small negative interaction with an employee, but but the time we were done there for the day they had apologized. All of the mechanics were friendly and knew what they were doing. They charge $300 to hook the computer up to your semi and run diagnostics though. We'll be back next week to get our repair done.

I took my car to this location last week. DO NOT COME HERE. The owner did a diagnostic on my AC system and after I left I noticed the mechanics broke my air conditioning on/off switch. It no longer works when I press the button and it is loose. It worked before I took my car to this auto shop because I was testing it prior. I called the shop and spoke to the owner and explained the switch was broken. He was rude and tried to imply it was like that before when it was not. He told me he could not help me and just hung up on me. I do not recommend this place.

The ENTIRE staff here is respectful and very helpful. I broke my drive shaft which damaged wires, air bags, and shocks. The mechanics here had my truck for 4 days and I was out of there! I loved the respect we shared for one another. If you're looking to become a mechanic, a truck driver, or just to get work done, this is the place

I went there in a Semi had a air leak they do a good job once they find the problem...Be prepare to be their for a while..They won't go get parts they wait for the dealers to deliver parts..This is where I lost all my time ..I took and Uber 3 times to Freightliner costing me $75.00 a trip but saved me time ...Overall they got the job done...Thanks Mr.Harry

They do quick and efficient work. As a tow truck operator there is typically plenty of room to pull in a flatbed or heavy wrecker which is a plus as they are off a busy highway. Friendly staff and the owner is good people I would bring my own car here for repairs.

Worst service I experienced in last 5 years that I’m in trucking business. And all they needed to do was to change the tire. Very expansive rude and not professional.

4500$ !!! (80% down payment of total estimate) , and when customer need time to make decision charge 50$ per day right away on next day !! and you never inform us about storage charge !!! that’s not professional

These guys are great and extremely qualified. They specialize in heavy duty truck repair but do general automotive work as well.

I broke down on the Turnpike on my way to CHOP. I ended up getting towed off the Turnpike and then ended up here. Super friendly family owned business. Very honest and did not rip me off (like the last place i went to) They mainy do trucks but also dealt with my car without a fuss. They were very friendly and got me back on the road in no time. I would 100% use them even if i was not broken down on the Turnpike.

After breaking down on the NJ turnpike traveling from Orlando, I asked the locals who referred me to A1. Superb service, worked on my auto Saturday as well. The owner is very friendly and fair. Went out of their way to get me in and out as quickly as possible. I think I made a friend as well. I was sweating bullets until I met them. Couldn't thank them enough. Whew!!!

The owner and his team are superb! Two weeks ago my husband and I stopped by his shop because of a flat tire; they were getting ready to close but we explained that we were from out of State and they went above and beyond to help us. These people were amazing. I went in from a tow with an unknown noise coming from my brakes/wheels. They put the car up on the lift immediately, found out the heat shield for a rotor had somehow been bent, and then bent it back for no charge. They couldn't have been nicer or faster.

Went in for a simple diesel leak, made the repair I got 47 miles away and the motor wanted to jump out of the frame! Bent push rods and a huge mess! Getting the truck towed to a professional to see what other damage this shop caused in my motor! This will be going to court and the lawsuit begins!! DO NOT BRING YOUR TRUCK HERE!!! When it breaks after he makes repairs , he will tell you this is PART OF LIFE....... take the GOOD WITH THE BAD.......
