Getting a car quote and setting up a pickup online was very easy to do. I would definitely recommend them for selling an older or junk car to avoid the hassle of haggling with people.

Driver arrived when he said he would , conformed details of process, I gave him keys and signed title , then loaded car on his truck . Process was pleasant and very fast .

Prior to contacting Modern Day, I had called another well known company, I took the day off from work and they never showed, they scheduled 2 more times and never came or called. I called Modern Day on a Tuesday they scheduled pick up on Thursday between 7 and 10 am, they called Thursday morning advised the next call would be from the driver, which is exactly what happened. The driver called introduced himself and gave me the estimated arrival time of one hour. He arrived in 50 minutes, helped remove my plates and had a business issued check already typed out to me. On top of that I still made it to work by 9am.
I would recommend them to anyone, it was a great experience, very professional.

The whole process was smooth. Everyone was nice. The tow truck driver was well prepared and out of the five places I called to compare prices, modern day was the same as two others, But I chose them because everyone I talked to on the phone was really nice and being nice to people goes a really long way. it opens doors & builds relationships.

Didn’t realize they were all the way in Barnegat so it kind of sucked having to wait around during the day between 10 and 2 (That could be any car company, though I’m sure ) but I appreciate the friendliness and good communication of the company and thank you for taking my husband’s old junk car lol. This was a first time experience for me having to get rid of an old junk car, but I’m saving their business card for the future. I called today needing a tow for my car that needed to be scrapped and the lady on the phone was so amazing. She was so patient and so kind which meant so much to me because I get a lot of anxiety speaking on the phone. She made the process so easy and they were able to fit me in the same day! The driver of the tow was so nice and helpful (I wish I knew his name) but It was my first time scrapping my car by myself and was nervous but he explained everything to me and helped me take my plates off. He showed and helped me with everything I needed. I was really sad about letting go of my car but these two workers gave me such a sense of relief with the fast and easy process. They really made my night with their kindness and all their help. Modern day recycling also scrapped my first car, a 2007 blue ford focus in 2021. I will always choose them!! They’re the best around and have such a good team. don’t hesitate to call them if you need to scrap!!
I had a lot of respect for your company because your communication was excellent prior to picking up my car. Three times on the phone I was told I would get $351. Plus one time in a text THIS MORNING I was told I would get $351. At the very last moment when the tow truck driver arrived he told me I could only get $200. Kind of low class way of doing business. Four times I was told $351 nobody changed that and at the last minute I get knocked down to $200. I lost a lot of respect for your company after feeling like I was dealing with a reputable group! Why should I lose $151 when I did nothing wrong nor anything different? Please respond.

Great experience. When I called for information and a quote the man who answered the phone was extremely nice and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He was extremely polite. I called on a Tuesday afternoon and the next morning they came with a printed out check and took my car. All I had to do was sign over the title. As I am older in age the driver was very nice and friendly and took my old plates off the car for me. It could not of been any easier or went smoother. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.
They did a wonderful job with keeping in touch of when they were going to pick up my vehicle and they kept their word about giving me the amount they said. All and all it was a great experience from beginning to end. I appreciated the help of getting the one plate off that I had trouble with. I would def use them again and let others know to use them in the future.
