Forgetting the fact that our bartenders didnt know their drinks (beers, cocktails), the biggest issue for me was that they had a sink for their dirty dishes that ran the faucet throughout the time we were there. Pretty much every employee in the tavern walked by the sink and ignored it.

Vintage Tavern hosted our post funeral repast today. It was such a hit!! We enjoyed 3 appetizers, a tossed salad and assorted pizzas complete with soft drinks and coffee. Our server Natalia is a gem and did an incredible job of serving us. 40 people with tax and tip was under $1,000. This is a great place for your next party.

Great place to get together with friends. Drinks were good and I enjoyed homemade crispy chicken with spicy sauce: )

We always go here with friends and family. This is our go to for Pizza. Love the Founders Pie, I add Sausage and Mushrooms. But my favorite is the Artisan Pie This is my grand kids favorite. Every time we go we run into someone that we know. Have been to mini class reunions there too.

Great atmosphere and food, the live music band Retrofix at that night was amazing.

Went for lunch and it was most delicious, capelini with shrimp. Pasra was cooked to perfection and the shrimp was delicate and it was seasoned with much flavor. The service was great and the place had a cozy ambiance.

Attended a party this weekend at the Vintage Tavern but there were way too many people in this room, the food was not eaten by many attendees, and the management wasn't aware of what was negotiated when the party was arranged. Bright star for the night was Zion, the one server for the whole room.... he was awesome!

Was here with a total of 39 women. Issue #1 one server for all us Issue #2 food was okay Issue #3 although our contract stated dessert we had to prove it. Not one person in the establishment bother to look at it until we brought it up Our waiter Zian was amazing he was definitely overwhelmed which was unfair to him. We made the best of it however it was the 1st and last time.

We celebrated my son’s birthday here and had an exceptional experience thanks to our server, Lorenzo Z. He was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. You could see how hard he was working and how much pride he takes in what he does. He made our visit feel special from start to finish. We come here about once a month, and this was by far our best experience yet. I wanted to share our gratitude and hope Lorenzo is recognized for the outstanding service he provided.

I come here for trivia. I had the BEST sandwich of my life. The guac was delectable. I haven’t stopped thinking about it for two days.

Was "The Rock", changed it's name recently. Still a great place, great staff. Have been there before under this name too. Large parking lot. Separate bar type area and dining area. Can accommodate large groups.

Came for a small event, service ,food was very good great thin crust pizza! Attentive staff. Tables were pretty wobbly, But small concern.

I enjoy Vintage tavern. The food is always great and the service is always on point. Lexi the bartender always make sure your mug is full and there is never a long wait despite how busy they are. I especially enjoy the a Chicago Dog. It's official, sport peppers and all. Keep up the good work VT

The atmosphere is very comforting and the food is delicious! Our server was very pleasant and attentive! We stayed to watch the band on Friday night and they were nothing short of outstanding! The bartender was top notch! Everything great all around with this place and looking forward to returning very soon. All thumbs up! ?

This is a great, somewhat “old school” spot. They do a good job, we have been frequenting for decades. Experience - the atmosphere is classic, with a great bar. Service - the service at the bar is "just OK." Food - The food is very good. Some great dishes (rice bowl, cedar plank salmon, cheesesteak). Pretty good wings and fantastic pizza and burgers. Overall, the value is good. Feedback The bar service can be inconsistent and could probably be friendlier. I appreciate that staffing and turnover can be challenging. For example, sometimes they only provide the included sales when specifically requested. In addition, they could be more attentive, especially when monitoring take out orders and drinks. I often have done take out, and would note that, while they do a good job, they tend to provide several bags for larger orders without a "shopping bag" type bag to put them in. It makes it difficult to get into to the car and then into home. I completed an online submission to provide feedback, but the management did not respond.

The name says it all. Super vintage place with great classic food. Bars pies , wings , burgers and chicken sandwiches. Lots of other “new school” items too. My absolute favorite was the Queso blanco tater tots ! I could have eaten 2 ! Crispy Tater tots topped with pico de gallo, jalapeño, Queso blanco , cilantro , roasted poblano sauce and cojita cheese ! I had a thin crispy bar pie , some large burgers like a Bacon Jam burger topped with sweet chili bacon jam , a steakhouse burger topped with onion rings , cheddar cheese and steakhouse sauce , all with crispy french fries. Also had a crispy Chicken sandwich topped with a zesty Mayo , lots of pickles and lettuce. Apps were good like French onion soup and boneless wings in a Thai chili sauce. You can even get their pizzas frozen to go. Lots of seating in dining room , old school cabin feel and huge main bar with a retro game room , pool table , dart board , arcade games for kids. I would also like to try their sister restaurant Chimney Rock Inn which has an identical menu but I like the old school feel of this place. Lots and lots of parking but fills up quick on weekends and I see why.

Great spot to stop by and enjoy a beer! The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and they have live music starting on Thursdays. I really enjoyed their thin-crust pizza—crispy, flavorful, and perfect for real pizza lovers. The bar has plenty of TVs, so it’s a great place to catch a game. There’s ample parking, which is always a plus. It’s also family-friendly, with spacious tables and a separate restaurant area that makes it comfortable for groups or people with kids. Highly recommend checking it out!

Solid food in a restaurant that feels like you are eating in someone's house, like a large family room with a fireplace and some tables, booths, and a bar. Lots of TV's. We sat at bar and bartender was super friendly. Bar pie and chicken sandwich were both very tasty. Just a very nice warm and homey place.

Great food, great service and lots of good beer on tap. Went for a buddy's birthday and had a great time! Servers were friendly and accommodating. Good diverse menu and the burgers/pizza were great! I will be back. Definitely recommend.

Typical American local bar/tavern. I feel like it is better than their sister restaurant (Chimney Rock). Better service, food, and cocktails. Too bad there is no outdoor seating, but it is less crowded due to location? which is a plus. The Fig-Getta-bout-it Cosmo was great!

First time visiting the 'Vintage Tavern's since it had been remodeled, previously 'Chimney Rock'. A lot is not much different when you enter but the bar and seating outside the bar has been changed quite a bit. There are a lot more TV's at the bar and there is some cool lighting at the bar too. I think they are going for more of a sports bar and I know they have live music more often so many not the family haven Chimney Rock was. Seating is the most notable change as while there are still tables, where there had been booths in the middle these have been swapped out for long tables with tall chairs. It all does look pretty nice. I did not make it to the back rooms on this visit so not sure how that has changed. I can't tell you how the menu has changed except there was an item or two we noticed was no longer available. One other thing Vintage Tavern has retained from Chimney Rock is the consistency of the food. Everything we ordered was quite good and while it's not high dinning you won't have a bad meal here and the menu is quite fun. I will visit again as food is consistent, the menu is diverse and fun and they have great drinks too.

Tried it once, no plans to return. The customer service was great, from calling in to place order to picking it up; but the food was not up to par. The fish tacos were a joke. You can see in the picture three tiny, tiny pieces of what they're calling cod; overpriced for what I received. The buffalo shrimp tasted odd. The french fries seemed to be old, and were dry. The pierogies were decent. Unfortunately, after eating I felt ill. The decor inside, the bar area, is very dated and the lighting was very low.

Chimney rock is a classic Berkeley Heights diner and every middle schooler growing up knows about it. I tried it for the first time recently and it was pretty good. The portions are generous and the dishes taste good. 4 stars. These dishes are definitely not meant to taste beyond what people can make at home.

This place has the best thin crust pizza in the world and Boylan's bottled birch beer to go with it!!! Great atmosphere, love the fireplace, the booths, and always polite staff. The Bridgewater location also gets a 5 star rating.
