The only highlight was seeing pictures of restored cars the guy there showed us.
Today turned out to be a great day. I needed to move my car between two nearby towns and was hesitant after reading mixed reviews about local towing companies. On the recommendation of my local Indy shop, Brielle Service Center, I contacted Bennett's—and I'm so glad I did. They were courteous over the phone, gave me the price upfront without being asked, and had their driver, Ron, meet me at the first location within the hour. The entire process was smooth, professional, and friendly. No issues at all. I'm incredibly thankful for the referral—this team is simply awesome.
Bennets towing is one of the best towing services.The owner is phenomenal and They take care of your vehicle and get it safely to its destination . Have used many times over the years. The best.
We waited over 1 hour for this lock smith. He pulled up to my mother’s residence and just sat In his truck while we waited near my mothers car, we spoke to him twice and he didn’t acknowledge us one time . He proceeded to approach the car and seemed to have an attitude because he assumed that someone attempted to open the car . There are no visible marks on the car to make this assumption. So I asked him if he was here to provide a service and he said no I’m not and left. This man was very rude and unprofessional. We called another lock smith and received a much better service. Call over to Jersey Shore Lock Smith. Not these folks.
Dispatcher is absolutely rude, called 8 times no answer, I leave a voicemail to call me immediately for help & he has an attitude. How does that work???? Don’t even bother, there are so many other tow trucks to use.
I called, needing to get my car towed and first was told I couldn’t get a tow because it was too late and there was only one person working and that they could tow it in the morning. But when I called back this morning and tried to explain the situation and ask to have my car towed, the guy starts yelling at me, saying “You can’t just have your car towed whenever you want it!” because I didn’t leave the key with my car, when the guy the night before didn’t say to do so and idk about that, and I don’t have a way back to the car to leave the key now.
It already sucks to have your car break down far from home and be stranded, but then to have someone yell at you because of it, is crazy. Especially when the company you’re calling is literally designed for just the situation… why have a 24 hour towing company for “recovery” in times of emergencies, if you are incapable of doing exactly that? As the customer that your company is designed to service, that’s really outrageous for you or anyone working for you to yell at me because I need you to do exactly what your company was created to do.
If I could, I’d give them a negative 5 stars. I wouldn’t recommend calling this company unless you are able to make sure your emergency is convenient to them.
My Tesla battery died unexpectedly and they showed up within 20 minutes. He was a pro in getting the completely disabled car onto the flatbed without damage and brought us over to the charging station. Neither of us knew where to start with recharging a dead Tesla, but he was kind enough to stick around for another 20 minutes after dropping us at the charger to help figure out how to get restarted.
The pricing was beyond fair for his efforts and it gives piece of mind knowing this company is around the area
This company is not roadside service for changing tires on the side of the road, they are strictly for a tow and they are Pro’s at it
Vendor was hired to tow my mother's car to a designated repair shop less than a mile away from pick up location. The tow truck broke down on the way to drop off her car and the driver decided, without consulting my mother, to drop her car at a different repair shop. Even worse, no one from Bennett's Auto Recovery notified my mother. She found out about the car switch up from the repair shop the driver decided to take her car to! Because of this screw up, my mom incurred an additional tow charge to have her vehicle towed to the correct location AND being a long holiday weekend, my mom's car had to be stored at the wrong repair shop for an additional 4 days. This vendor's poor judgement and customer care doesn't even deserve a 1 out of 5 stars. I'd give them a zero for their subpar service.
I broke down getting off of rt 18 after sitting in a salon for 6 hours I just wanted to go home! Bennets sent some one out so quick! I can't remember his name but he was so quick and efficient! And such a nice guy. I was home with my car in less then an hour from the time I called. Great service. Great communication! Thanks guys.
We ended up with 2 flat tires at wawa. I panic sooo.... I did a Google search and called Bennett's. From start to finish, our entire interaction was effortless and pleasant. Both gentlemen we dealt with were great! Thanks so much!

~NOT THIS COMPANY - This tow company manage to tow my granddaughter's electric car when NO OTHER TOW TRUCK DRIVER KNEW HOW to complete the task. The BENNETT'S DRIVER KNEW HOW an DID. It was a cold rainy night 9:30 ish pm (added for effect, but it's true it was)...my granddaughter's fully electric car was out of juice coming off of the NJ parkway. That meant she wouldn't be able to put the gear in neutral for towing. But called my insurance company for towing..he arrived but after calling his headquarters to find out HOW to tow he left us saying he needed but didn't have a "wheel lift and dolly"..so. He left instructing me to call around but tell them they will need the "wheel lift and dolly". I called around and FINALLY got Bennett. He was unphased- I reminded him the wheels were locked by. He said those other guys lack of experience is why we were still there. He put the front wheels on casters(?)..like skates and loaded it up. THEN he managed to unload the car PERFECTLY into a tight spot . Now his fee was $200 and I think that was a bit of a mark-up as well but was worth it for what he did.. saved us from the cold...and my granddaughters car from being damaged. Add to that the THREE other company's attempted price gouging wanting $300 (normally $65-75 and wanted a drop fee?!!) to go 1.1 miles to the nearest charging station. BOYCE towing, BROTHERS Towing wanted $300. DEFALCO was more reasonable wanted $165 +$20 to "drop the car- so, a fee to give us our car back?!! INSANE!! I plan to report them to the authorities. NJ laws are specific enough about this-BOYCE, BROTHERS and DEFALCOS's are NO GOOD for towing that is not straight forward!

Dave the tow truck driver is great! I put in the request for the tow and he was here within 15 minutes. Very efficient & friendly!! I’ll definitely use this company again if needed & refer them to my friends, family & co workers!
We met a couple women with two children who had their car towed, After a day at the beach. We called the business and the employees were good enough to hang around until we could give them a lift to pick up their car. They came to Belmar from Philadelphia, thanks to the men for sticking around after closing.

Standup business. Too many shady unlisted tow truck drivers around only trust top names on google
There are tow trucks who don't exist on the internet because they know their business is shady. Bennett's will fight for his reputation

After waiting for hours for the AAA to tow my car, including someone they sent who was totally inexperienced from Point Pleasant Towing , we decided to try Bennett’s Towing Service in Neptune. I was in an accident, Bennett was called in by Asbury Park Police to tow my car. At the same time returning home my service animal Dean Martin, "Dino" has a collapse. I had no car, I couldn't get a rent car they were booked. But the local car service was at my aid. The Bennett Tow service owner came in once I got a rent a car while off hours, not only was he wonderful his employee took my crate out of my car and installed into my rental car. I was in tears so happy now I had my rent car with my dog crate installed for further emergencies to Garden State Vet owner Dr. Scavelli and to cardiologist at Red Bank Vet . Bennett is far the kindness tow truck service I ever experienced. My boy Dino is the most important living God's gift in my life. Bennett made it possible to put my crate into my car, which I could not. My x is the owner of Reilly's Collision in Princeton Junction, and I know how hard this business is, I can only say if you need towing call them first. Thank you.

Poor little tow truck drive was so intimidated by 3 senior citizens and two women that he had to call the Belmar Police because we asked him why he was towing our car!!!! He said he felt threatened......what a total whoosss!!! When the police arrived he, begrudgingly, had to release our car.....for $125.....just for putting it on the flatbed. What a scam.
