If I could give fewer stars I would. The customer service is terrible. I went to request a battery charging service with a practically new battery, and well, they damaged the battery, and no one wanted to take responsibility for the damage. I had to go buy a new battery at another establishment since the manager didn't take responsibility for what her team did. I don't recommend going to this establishment, especially with a manager who treats her customers poorly.

Came in today and Victor was very helpful, as soon as I came in he saw I couldn’t find what I was looking for and he walked up right away and helped, got me what I was looking for in the back and answered a lot of questions I had for items for my new car. This is a 100 employee deserves a raise/promotion.

On July 7th, 2024, I had a motorcycle breakdown near the toll and was towed to Advance Auto Parts. With just 10 minutes to spare before closing time, I rushed in to buy tools to fix my bike. I explained my situation to the staff, emphasizing my need to get back home, which was far away. Unfortunately, I purchased the wrong sizes and returned to the store four minutes before closing (8 PM). However, to my frustration, the staff had already locked the door, despite knowing my predicament. They showed no empathy or concern for my situation, demonstrating a lack of customer service and human compassion. Thank you for your answer, dear owner, but it won't resolve the problem when it happens to another customer again.

Needed a pair of wipers. Came here, and it was in stock. Had a slight problem. But, an employee came out and installed them in 5 minutes. Done and on my way. Thanks

walked into the store, the woman employee on her cell phone, barely says good morning and I had to ask for help, what type of service is this..all she did is look at her cell phone..I hope the manager writes her up, she gets paid to work not to look at her phone avoiding paying customers. needless to say I walked out.

Lazy and unwilling to actually help you. I also question their actual automobile industry knowledge. They would not test the battery on my diesel generator that was mounted to the back of my flatbed pickup truck which they could have accessed from the ground even though it is the same exact battery you would find in a car. To see a manager be so unhelpful and unwilling, what a shame. Im not a mechanic but i know my stuff, they could have tested it. Went 5 mins down the road to a BUSY Autozone in Perth Amboy, and they helped me, tested it, and informed me of my options, and I was in and out in 5 minutes.

Called this store 3 times, first was immediate put on hold for 25 minutes, second right to holding for 5 minutes and third time no one even bothered to answer. Don’t waste your time here, go to autozone where they have the courtesy to answer the phone and your questions in a timely manner.

This for a friend of mine. Bought a very expensive defective battery that is guaranteed.After having problems with the battery I took it back to the store. Employee was giving me another battery then the manager walked out and stopped it. Then he tells me it has to be tested, I told him there's an internal problem. Tells me the battery is good. Told him he doesn't understand how to test this battery. Told him other stores would just replace the battery.I called corporate twice and its been a week now. I get the same line of garbage. Bottom line, the battery is not guaranteed. They should not be able to sell batteries stating there is a guaranty when it does not have one. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from this store and especially a battery. So they buffaloed me and Im out a lot of money. So now I will shout this from the mountain top until this store closes. Just go to another company for a battery and all other auto parts. So so much for their GUARANTEES!

It was great,across from this location is Walmart, granted Walmart has low prices what Walmart didn't have in stock in the auto section Auto zone had a brand just as fits your budget such as oil,trans fluid and the above..

My grandson went to get the brakes on his car replaced and the team at Mavis was able to assist with removing swollen lugs and recognizing any alignment issues with the tire rod. We spent more time with the vehicle at the shop but the work got done within the day even with all the complications

After giving them the exact make model year and engine type of my car they gave me the wrong replacement part then told me they could not refund an electrical part. No signs in the store or written on the bill. 50 bucks down the drain.

Usually I lookup parts and order online for pickup or come in with part #s I want, sometimes employees will ask for make/model/year etc but not always when I ask for specific part #. Usually I'm waiting half a day or more to pickup, my own availability and years ago pretty much their time frame to make my order read. More recently the chain promises 30 minute ready times which I've never tried to make use of at this location, I placed an order recently after the store closed and it was ready about an hour after they opened the next day, again after they opened the store and dealt with early bird customers and all the other last minute online orders like mine. Overall I've had good experiences, nothing outstanding and no negative experiences. The store is smaller customer footprint than the STS that used to occupy part of the building but they used to be parts and service advance is just parts. Now Advance has about half the space of the building, maybe less, and tire chain starting with an M has the rest of the building. Prices are 20-30% higher on many brand name things you can get at the big W chain store that dominates this shopping location but that chain doesn't carry all the extra auto fluids/items you may need and not parts in the store.

Horrible employees and management. Extremely UNKNOWLEDGABLE. They give you any part whether its for your car or not. Paid for a master cylinder, it wasn't even for my car, went to take it back.. manager through the box at me and did not want too refund me....

The worst customer service experience you could think of. Ordered a new battery online and there lazy employee grabs his cart and rolls it outside leaving me to carry the battery myself. Then he never gives me a receipt for proof of purchase and took my old battery inside with him so I never got the core fee taken off. The vehicle didn't start after installing the new battery after I drove there with my new one, again lazy employee Berto never offered to exchange the new dead battery for a new one at least or put back my old one. I had my vehicle towed to a mechanic and it cost me $20 for a recharge. The store Manager Sean another poor excuse for customer service dismissed me to deal with another customer cause he couldn't do anything about it. Two days prior Berto claimed he couldn't do anything and advised me to talk the the Manager, and the female that works there told me that Berto could have done something since it was him to help to begin with. In this day customer service should be above and beyond after all thats going on , taking care of people is our number one priority, and this is coming from a military veteran and first responder.

I only went to get a price on a part for my car. The staff was friendly, they all greeted me with a smile and hello when they came in contact. 3stars are that the prices where a bit higher then the in-store price on line.

We bought the front wheel parts from this store but some parts in the boxes were missing so brought them back for return and expecting refund but the guy with the tattoos on his arms said NO, These are installed! I said no we had to open one box and looked at in it and realized that there is a missing part and stop installing it. So he handed the second box and saw that that box was NOT open and he teared to open it and said you see this one is installed too. I was nearly beat this guy to the ground but just hold my breath and stay calm! I said, give me the parts back and this ends here I won’t buy anything from your store and any other AAP. Watch for the tattoo guy!

These location is lead all my women.where some mans are Intimidating by females when they know their stuff great place to go and find your car part. They DO NOT install batteries purchased at their store as indicated in their advertisements. My 1 year old son and I were stranded in their lot because an employee said they only do it "sometimes". I reccomend autozone instead, much better customer service.

Worst advance auto parts store ever.. I rather wait for my part to arrive at other location but I wouldn’t ever go back to this advance ever. Manager doesn’t know how to take care of his customers. No wonder why the staff is rude. they treat customers the way they get treated by their manager. On top of everything manager lying to customers service saying I am trying to return old stuff and telling them he talked to the district manager and the district manager said not to take it back as a return. He was standing outside the whole time. Such a liar.

I needed a part that this store was the only one in a 30 miles range of me that their website said they had it. I put in an online order and before I went there to pick it up I called them to make sure they have received my order and also HAVE ALL THE PARTS(Because I live 40 minutes away from this store). They specifically said they had all my parts in hand. I drive there for 40 minutes to find out they DO NOT HAVE one of the parts that I actually ordered. I was mad and explained that I had called and they confirmed that they had all my parts ready. The Answer that they gave me: "SORRY BUT STUFF HAPPENS"

Not the biggest Advance auto parts in size, but is very well staffed. The service is great and the people are friendly and helpful to answer any questions you might have. The staff is informed and will suggest deals in the store which always works out for the customer. Alot of parking around and easy to get to location.

They are horrible and lack customer service. They either don’t know anything or would rather you not ask them questions. I really received horrible service there recently. I bought the wrong item that an associate helped me to purchase then i brought it back two days later and they said they don’t take returns. I’m so disappointed.

I set out on a long distant trip to Florida on Aug. 6. I was on the turnpike and I noticed my wiper blade broke. I immediately exited at interchange 11 and discovered this store. The sign outside side said, “Free Wiper Blade Installation,” so I said great it’s a Sunday they are open, let me stop get this fixed so I can be on my way. The place was empty so I asked the clerk for the correct blades which cost $52 for the pair, which I thought, was high but I didn’t have a choice since I was already delayed. It took about 20 minutes to make the purchase and she said she will install them and be right back. She finally came back about 20 minutes later and she said it’s finished but I should wait for someone else to just check the installation. Another 20 minutes goes by he says the look fine. I go out, turn the wipers on and the one blade is flopping all over the window. I go back in and naturally there are like 20 customers out of the blue and no one to help me after wasting well over an hour and a half. I finally get someone else to come out and he tells me that the first clerk did not install the proper clip so after nearly two hours he fixes it and on am on my way. I make it hours later into the state of North Carolina and it pours. Put on the wipers and all of the sudden the other blade begins to wobble. The morons at Woodbridge failed to replace the clip on the other wiper, which previously had appeared to be fine. So I luckily but the grace of God found another Advance Auto Part not far off I-95 in and the clerk there knew right away how to fix it. So thanks to the incompetent workers at Woodbridge, I will never go back to this location.
