AutoZone promised me $22 back for a battery core return. When I brought it in, my card was canceled, so I asked for store credit. They refused to give me the full amount and said I’d only get $10. They didn’t honor the original deal. “Cancel” that store.
Went to the Raritan store Saturday March 28, 2026. Tyrone tested the battery and alternator for my 09 Camry. Both were bad. Such a plus this store has testing equipment. They set me up with a new battery and alternator which they had in stock (another plus). And, they were the correct parts! Nothing worse than discovering you have wrong or defective parts when doing the install. I installed the parts and she fired right off! Thank you Tyrone and crew at this store. Tony

DO NOT order to in-store pickup here! My order was taken or picked up by someone else before I came in with my email confirmation for pickup at this location today. How do does anyone pickup an item without a pickup barcode and ID? I was told this from customer service since that’s why my info for pickup wasn’t on their system when I actually came in. It’s def shady shit or carelessness from store staff/management to this happen so easily. Luckily customer service was able to give me a refund! I honestly hope that goes through correctly…But someone got away with free stuff! It’s my first and last time ordering anything from Autozone.
Having a bad experience with these stores today I wait behind somebody then the guy tells me the line starts some where else going to check out a different auto parts place
Hello all and Happy new years. I had to stop into Auto Zone today for a minor fix to a customer care. I'm a transporter. This is not something they do ,but a great employee name Ray stepped up and Help me solve a problem that could have gone bad. Thanks Auto Zone for Ray and his excellent customer service. 10 stars
The guy Ray told me to come in to change my car batteries I spoke on him on the phone and told me that it was the best time to come in and change the battery when I came in the store I was told that i need to wait and I waited a long time the dude literally wasted my time. Never going to come back in this place!
I needed a new battery they were super helpful. Before it was the rech installed it he checked to make sure the care didn't need a system reset. That's a pro right there
I came back to this location and was helped by Joaquin. He really is an angel. He helped me with swapping my old battery which it didn’t really need to after he had already changed it. We asked if we can return the new one since the issue wasn’t the battery. He did without hesitation. Amazing guy and great customer service.
Joaquin did an excellent job replacing the battery in my Nissan Rogue. He was quick, friendly, and answered all my questions. The whole process was smooth and hassle-free. I highly recommend him to anyone needing car help.
Every AutoZone store is great, and this one is no exception. Folks are very friendly and informative. Dave advised me to use CATACLEAN product because of his experience and feedback from other customers and it worked very well. After a day of driving check engine light went off and the emission passed. Thank you, Dave @ AutoZone Raritan.
I needed a new rear wiper blade for my Honda CR-V. I had trouble figuring out how to install it … when I went back to the store for help, Taimoor not only explained why I was having trouble, he actually came outside and installed it for me. That is AWESOME customer service! Thank you Taimoor and AutoZone.
Awful experience. Asked employee for help, they said they didn’t have part and had to order it. Told me to go pick up later. I go in later and it’s the wrong part. They told me the part would need to be delivered by fedex. So I asked to speak to manager - apparently manager was out on lunch according to employee named Ty (who was very kind but couldn’t help bring a solution). They told me manager would call back in a few hours. 24 hours later and nothing….Wasted so much time for no reason. I’ve been going here for years and the service has gone down hill. Definitely will not be returning and would encourage others not to go here as well.
Everyone here is very knowledgeable and helpful! Every time I come here I leave a happy camper. I always get the answers I need, and their advice on what works best. Clean facility, ample parking and the best part is they really do try and help to solve your problem or answer any question you may have. This place is nothing short of a 5 star review! I’ve yet to experience any bad moments with these guys! Keep up the great work guys, I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels like a valued customer!
The best customer service! I went in for new windshield wipers and Wingrove walked me through each of my options and even helped me switch them out, which I’m glad he offered because they were a STRUGGLE. Overall the staff, but especially Wingrove made it such an easy errand!

This place goes above and beyond. I had my doubts as Corey looked very very young. He was however professional, polite, and really knew his business. He chose to be honest and saved me a ton of money. When I returned he saw me pull up and I didn’t even need to leave my vehicle as he brought the part to me! So he gained this location quite a few new customers as I work with a few construction companies. KEEP your staffing like this! Customer service seems to have taken a hit these past few years but this particular location is having none of that! I felt like a valued customer and that spoke volumes! Thanks Corey!

I went to the Raritan location on 3/21/24 and just getting to write a review. Edwin was so helpful and professional it was a pleasure going in and getting greeted with kind and knowledgeable help. He got the part I needed and put the light in my car as well. I will def be back if needed. It is so good to know that there are people that take pride in their job and are professional with the customers. Great job !
My husband was really helped by one of the employees there. Very professional. My husband actually doesn't really know how to work a computer, so he asked me to do this. That is how impressed he was. He thinks the employee's name was Edward. Great job Edward.
I'm so pleased with this business. I called in the morning regarding a battery install and the woman who answered was so helpful. I wasn't sure of the exact model of the car and she looked up both options for me without hesitation. When I got to the store, David helped me with the different battery options and even tested the battery, alternator and starter on my vehicle. I will definitely be back if there's anything else they can help me with.
Autozone in Raritan NJ. 5 stars (if I could give 10 I would) to Dave B for assisting me today with my car. He used the hand held inspection device and showed me the correct parts to fix my car! Runs perfectly now! Thank you again Dave and all the AutoZone employees! Ladies before you take your car to any mechanic - take it to AutoZone to get it checked out. It might be an easy fix that you can do yourself or have a neighbor help you out! AutoZone has saved me over $800 in unnecessary repairs this year alone!!!
Amazing service from start to end. The guys here were very knowledgeable and friendly. Cody helped me diagnose my bad battery, found the replacement, rang me up and changed my battery in less than 30 mins. Overall I'm very satisfied with my trip here. With great service and knowledge they can help with most car problems.
Stopped by for an engine check light. They cannot go into my car to do, but did give me reader to get code myself. Gave me printout after with a friendly attitude!
I have been going here for over a decade and they are consistently polite and helpful. They will help you install items you purchase there. The store is well stocked with many useful item, especially for such a small place. For example I needed a wide rear view mirror (that lets you see your blind spots). I was pleasantly surprised to see they had one on hand.
