I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Horrible rude staff, that gives attitude when you can’t speak Spanish. Checked my bag before I left the store to make sure I wasn’t stealing just because it was a tote bag. Then when they were proven wrong after checking the woman flagged me down like it’s not her problem instead of taking accountability. Then today we bought a dress but they didn’t take the ringer off so we came back, only for them to snatch the dress away and not give us our money back. FORCING us to buy something from them for a small amount in exchange.
The prices are so ridiculous they shouldn’t even be legal. It’s not even just a couple of items, every single thing in this store is overpriced. Walmart branded t-shirts are $25, blouses are $35+, old electronics were $100+. I did not see a single thing under $15. It’s sad considering they get all of these items for free. Their greed disgusts me.
They’re overpriced and at SELF checkout, they have employees hovering over your shoulder acting like they’re gonna help you. I would see items and search them up, just to find out these items are priced at their ORIGINAL PRICE!!! The concept of a thrift store does not apply to this store!!!
If you like thrifting… skip this store. I walked in for the first time and saw jeans for 80.00… hand me down purses for 59.00…This is what you call a greedy corporation I’m glad there’s another one nearby that’s an actual thrift store
“Thrift store” must be a joke with these prices. For what they’re charging, you might as well go buy something brand new and skip the treasure hunt through dusty racks. And the customer service? Nonexistent. I asked about a coat missing a tag—employee shrugs and says, “Oh yeah, you can’t buy that today…” while already walking away. I pressed if she could at least check the price, she says she’ll ask… and then I never saw her again.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Never have I EVER felt the way I did leaving this place.
I’m at the checkout area with my mom. Multiple times two women came up to us at the checkout lane, I’m assuming to help. No excuse me, or words, just grabbed the items from our hands to take the hangers or to count the items - at least this is what I observed from the experience. One woman, an older woman stayed to hover and watch over us after I told her we didn’t need her help scanning the items but thanked her. She made us feel uncomfortable. My mom felt racially profiled but I prefer not to judge the actions of the person without considering them as a rude human being first. A tall gentleman came by to speak with this woman, to what I assume to let her know to relax. She wasn’t interested and continued to stay and watch and be overbearing.
Obviously, they may have been trying to help or make sure we weren’t stealing, but when there are several registers with other people paying for their items without the women hovering over them (who looked like them), it’s hard not to jump to the conclusion of feeling like the treatment we received was based on what we looked like. I don’t expect great customer service from a thrift store - at least this one. I DO expect to be treated kindly and fairly.
All this to say, I would NEVER EVER come back here or recommend anyone to shop at this location.
very rude workers. just asked someone if i could use the dressing room, before i could finish my sentence she said “closed” and walked away. mind you the store is not closed.
I have been here countless times & the staff is always wonderful, helpful & kind. I noticed a not-so-nice (or truthful) review on here, that ironically, I was there that day & witnessed the occurrence. Of course we know, people will omit certain facts that hold them accountable for their part in the complaint, so when I find the review, I will articulate what actually occurred. But I WILL say this: the manager was offering to help & the girl was video taping when there are several signs that clearly state, “no video taping.”
She was loud, obnoxious & verbally abusive- I was surprised they didn’t have security escort her out-That said, this place always has treasures, the staff, always helpful & the facility is clean & well organized.
The ones who complain are generally the problem.
Disappointing experience at this thrift store. Purchased an item by mistake and asked the manager for an exception despite the 'no returns' policy. Instead of understanding, I was met with rudeness and gaslighting. The manager even shared details of our conversation with customers, which was humiliating. Overpriced items and poor customer service. Unfortunate, especially considering my history of donating to the store. Not recommended.
Extremely overpriced for the things they are offering. $20 for an Express dress and $17 for a Victoria's Secret nightgown... ridiculous. I've seen Old Navy tees marked at $10!!! And these are simply donations they are reselling! I find their pricing greedy. The only things affordable are cups, t-shirts with graphics and slogans of local businesses and corporations, and bags of random home decorations packaged into bundles.
There’s not much good, anything kind of ok-maybe is super overpriced(delulu).. it’s like store prices, like full priced shein. There r a few certain sections that r ok priced. Like two.. but most of the place is mid anyway.
You’re honestly better off shopping on Bergenline or the Old Navy across the street for some affordable clothing. I literally have never seen a thrift store like this where the prices are extremely high for brands and pieces that aren’t even so special. Not to mention, this is a for-profit secondhand clothing business, so all the profits go to whoever owns the company. Men’s section is very poor, mostly rows of only tattered tees and gildan tees. The women’s section is vast, however poor selection of shoes. They base-price items based on the category and then tack on more depending on the brand. It’s honestly just a waste of time to even try and walk around here when I know of other places nearby that are way more affordable secondhand spots.
Great place to find "unique" items. although It has gotten more expensive throughout the years, it still beats paying regular prices. I always find myself going there weekly. discounts vary by colors (25, 50, 75% newest items don't get a discount) and 50% off for the entire store is usually on holidays.

Way too expensive for things they get FOR FREE. 30 dollars for some graphic printed shirt? Not in this economy. Went on a Saturday and they had a nice sale going on. Dropped my price from 60 to 30. Though 60 dollars for a few shirts, a pair of pants and some shoes is ridiculous. Overall wouldn’t come here if they didn’t have some sort of sale going on.
the employees are terrible. they dont know how to approach customers. i went to check out and two of the workers began pulling the items out of my hands out of no where claiming it was their policy. I can understand it being a policy but theres a way to go about it instead of saying nothing and just pulling things out of my hands. and they weren’t doing that to customers around us, made me feel like i was stealing when i was at the register. terrible experience
The workers are horrible!! I was walking around the store and I had grabbed a pair of shorts not knowing it was part of a set. As I was walking a worker SNATCHED it from my hands! And she said that the price was $12.99 as she was putting it back on the rack. Okay!? I saw the price and clearly I was fine with it. I told her she didnt need to take it from me like that and she just looked at me and didnt say anything. There was no reason for her to do that, it was disrespectful and unprofessional. From the disbelief I didnt ask for name but I will report her if she does it again.
Came here for the house decor , cds and cute stuff. They had a deal going on . I bought this cute ashtray . Super busy a lot of ppl and employees in the way. I like how they have self serve registers . The tray was $2.69 I payed $1.99

Whoa the worst Myunique with the prices. So expensive . The cds at the others one are usually 1.99 this one was selling them almost at 4.00 . Def won’t be returning
Although they got armed security and ridiculous prices, they also allow building management to allow a nearby exit egress path to be blocked. Posted to raise awareness as this store has high foot traffic daily through these doors
One of the staff members rudely invaded my personal space under the guise of ‘helping me’ while I was checking out. Then it quickly turned into not letting me check out on my own bc according to her it is company policy ….yet everyone else was checking out on their own. Literally my boyfriend was at the register next to mine checking himself out while this lady grabbed every single one of my items. I’ve never had such an uncomfortable shopping experience.
I've been here several times in the past few months, usually a decent experience, lots of variety. However, today I was FLOORED by the prices. Like, actually double what they were a few weeks ago. 12.99 for a trinket box? 19.99 for a Mets shirt. People used to walk out of here with armfuls of stuff, no longer.
Edit: I do still visit, the thrill of the hunt can't keep me away, and I get good deals with stuff on sale. I just never buy their inflated full price.
The original price from Hobby Lobby was $2 cheaper than what they’re reselling it for seemed very overpriced. I saw a North Face vest being sold for $50…
It was very unfortunate, I visited on 11/11/24... Wanted to advantage of their sales due to my limited income... Now the reason it was unfortunate was that someone literally stole my cart while I was distracted looking through enclosed items they have by their checkout area... What was infuriating is the amount of time that I was there picking and choosing the items and confirming it was a good fit because there is a no return policy.... Asked several employees if they took my cart... Everyone seemed disinterested in helping... Grant it...it was busy.. And no cats were available. So I wasn't sure who had taken my cart.... Even though I thought about calling the police, thank the Lord I did not have any personal items in my cart because otherwise I would and made a big deal about it and called the police...
So if you happen to visit UNIQUE be very vigilant!
Everything here is over priced. The clothing prices were ridiculous. You can get the same items for virtually the same price at discount stores like Burlington. They need a reality check for pricing.
They’re getting out of hand now with these prices when they get stuff for FREE, donated! Very overpriced. Why go to the thrift anymore when I can buy these things at the store or online for cheaper? I even heard people nearby talking about the prices. If they keep this up people will stop buying and it will be the downfall of their business. I see all the expensive stuff still on the shelves. Why is a baby’s sweater $15 with no sale? And a Zara skirt $40..it’s Zara! Fast fashion.. Ridiculous..

this is June 20th I just revised my review I went to purchase something and there was a matching item without a price when I went to ask the lady at the self checkout registers refused to sell the one missing the price tag and then the one that had the price tag she also snatched and told me that it wasn't for sale either because it was a price mistake kind of strange I thought I went into a store not into somebody's home
Update 4/15 /21 environment is better and you do fine certain unique finds they do follow covid regulations and have sanitizer inside
