⸻ I went to three different Home Depot stores looking to buy a washing machine. At two of them, I was not well assisted. However, at the third location, in Secaucus, I was helped by Jennifer Winter. She was extremely polite, helped us choose the right machine, asked someone to wrap it up, and made sure we had help loading it into the car. I highly recommend asking for her if you visit that store. She is the best.

Many successful and good visits at this location. However, given the last visit (for a trivial return), I wouldn't visit this location if you have an otherwise simple return/customer service issue to deal with. Although the individual in question on said date was, Renee... She did not provide any useful or tangible help that's offered nationwide. I chose to visit this one HD because it happened to be closest given the day and return in question I wished to resolve quickly to be done with... But she made it an ordeal. Even after word for word explaining how previously at this same store I've ordered multiple items and made a request for a return with NO issues. She pressed the matter so as to, "educate me". Wherein the attempt to call the manager was unsuccessful. Waited approximately 15-20 mins after which it was evident this was going nowhere.. Although I was and still am curious why she cut the tape on an unsealed brand new packaged item I intended to return if she did not intend to fulfill the purpose of actually helping in the return process?.. Either way, I documented it personally so as to show this package was opened by this associate at this location upon this exact date, for future reference. It's unfortunate, you may perhaps find someone else either kinder, willing to help, or simply - wanting to. I did not, so 'YMMV'. Pick any HD within a 5mi radius and go there rather than here. Thank you Renee, and thank you for misinforming other members in your department regarding such matters. This too was also documented and recorded in the event HD or other parties in a position of CS help would deem it necessary...

I had no problem purchasing products from this store, but when it came to using the warranty to fix my device, it turned out to be the worst place to ask for help.

One of the worst in this area. I understand that shelves need to be restacked, but if you go to the store and half of the aisles are gated off, they could just close the store all together.

Early morning visit to home Depot is the best time to go there. It is quite and the staff is fresh and friendly. I needed a board cut up for a project. The staff member was attentive and happy to assist. He did a great job taking care of my cuts. I wish I had his name to add him to the review.

Went to pick up an online order that I had placed on a Friday. Went on Monday to pick it up and was told that someone else had picked up that order. Um... NO. No one looked me in the eye and actually had the nerve to ask if I could wait while they review the cameras. What? Then they had the nerve to say that the item I ordered was the last one and that they could order it or give me a different color. So fine, I chose a different color. After a while the associate Carlos i believe his name was opened the locker behind him and looked at the exact same Item I had ordered and quietly placed it back. He didn't think I was watching and asked if that was my order. He said probably was, so i said i want the color I ordered. Assistant manager Jorge wasnt super remorseful. I asked if the company checks Ids when orders are being picked up, and he said yes. He later turned around and told his workers that moving forward they should check ids. Very incompetent staff, they seemed like they didnt want to be there. No greeting, no eye contact, no human emotion. Their Flowers are also dead and dry.

at a previous location, I was not helped at all, and it was very frustrating. Then I came to the Secaucus location, hoping my answers would be met only to be faced with some issues being passed around through the phone. However Eventon was the perfect help to my experience and made my brother’s night with helping to find what we needed with the upmost concern, it was genuine and greatly appreciated!

I had no clue the proper names of the items I was looking for today and Armando was so patient even when it wasn’t what I was looking for he made it his mission to make sure I left satisfied with exactly what I needed. He had such great customer service even though I brought him around the store like three times. Home Depot keep it up with these great workers.

I’ve noticed a recurring issue at Home Depot that seems tied to gender bias. As a woman, I often find it much harder to get assistance compared to men. Today was another frustrating example. I spoke to an associate named Joe, who told me to go home, get measurements, and return so he could help me with what I needed. I followed his instructions, but when I came back, Joe was nowhere to be found. I was told he had been sent out on a delivery. This is unacceptable. If you instruct a customer to return for assistance, you should make sure someone is available to help them upon their return. Meanwhile, I watched other male customers receive prompt and friendly service, while I was left scrambling to find help. I asked for a manager, but even that didn’t resolve the issue. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this kind of treatment. Whether I’m looking for tools, ladders, or other supplies, I consistently notice men being prioritized for assistance, while I’m left to figure things out on my own. This behavior is not only frustrating but also points to a deeper issue of bias among staff. Home Depot needs to investigate and address these problems. Everyone, regardless of gender, deserves equal and respectful treatment. Until these issues are resolved, I will be rethinking where I shop for my home improvement needs.

They charge over $700 for a service that I didn’t want, and promised they’ll refund me. It’s been two months and the refund never came back. Tried calling them following up, they promised “again” that they will follow up on this. Guess what? Now they either hang up on my phone or just not pick up my phone call anymore! I never get to talk to the people there regarding my refund. Can’t believe a big company can scam your money this way.

This is the worst Home Depot store ever. They will tell you that they could adjust the contract within 2 days. But trust me they will give you a very very hard time doing it. Every person will lie and tell you a different story. Unfortunately we will have to bring this to the credit card company and BBB. 3 months ago, we bought the kitchen countertop from the store and decided to diy the plumbing on the second day. The customer service person, Ines, told us that she could refund us and tell us to go to the store on a specific day at a specific time frame. We went there on time and waited over 1hour just waiting for her to finish her lunch. The store manager told us that they couldn’t refund before the work is done, which doesn’t make any sense and different from what we were told by Ines. By the end of the day we received a paper proofing that the refund went through. They told me that it will take a couple of days for it to appear. However, nothing happened. We tried contacting them but nothing was done. It is sad to see such a large company with such incompetent employees. Please stay away.

I have bought from here before & they are well aware of time contraints to deliver to a high rise. I have been trying to get an appliance delivered within a tome frame of9am to 4pm for over a month & it's been a nightmare of rescheduling & delays. If they can't accommodate or have control over those they contract to deliver, then they should not sell to those in my situation or who live in high rises. I won't be purchasing here again .not good customer service. Went to Lowes after another cancellation, got the same item delivered on time , service was great.

Nothing really bad to say about this store. The staff seems friendly enough, but there just isn't enough of them to make it an enjoyable or memorable experience. The employees are only hired help and the furthest thing from trade professionals. When you can find an employee it's like moths to a flame because you'll at least 2 or 3 people buzzing around them with questions almost all the time.. I used to work for Home Depot 2005 - 2007 and they didn't have these issues.

It is a place I visit very often for general renovation works of my home and workplace. I came to this branch for the first time. parking and entry and exit is a bit difficult, When I went to buy a lamp, the shelves were covered in dust. My hands and body are dirty. I generally have this problem in home depot stores.

The paint department have been wonderful! They were very helpful and patient with me and my family. Really wanted to give a shout out to their excellent and efficient service. Kat was especially outstanding with finding our paint and giving out useful info for new homeowners like us. We also got help from Mario later as well. This made our experience comfortable and less stressful. Thank you guy for your help.

This Home Depot is a gold mine you would think they would take some time to clean their parking lot or have a service come and do it late at night. It is disgusting pre and post Covid. Another example is the bathrooms. They can’t find find plumbing supplies to fix.

As Home Depot they have huge collection with huge parking lots but service is too bad. I have waited more than 25 min for curb side pickup after checking. Finally called to customer service then they took again all details .. but still they are taking more than 15 min so total 45 time I spent for pickup one items .
