I always have a great experience shopping at Target. The store is clean, well organized, and very easy to find what you’re looking for. They have a wide variety of products including groceries, clothing, home items, and daily essentials, all in one place which makes shopping very convenient. The staff is friendly, polite, and always willing to help when needed. Checkout is usually quick, and I appreciate the good deals and quality products. Overall, Target is a reliable one-stop shop and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant shopping experience.
Shoutout to Ash at Target for being the only one who actually helped me after I asked multiple workers. Even on a busy Sunday, he was patient, polite, went out of his way to find an item that showed as out of stock, and had a great smile that honestly made the whole interaction better. Truly saved the day and my mood.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! Let’s just say predejudice. My wife and I came to this target to exchange a Xmas gift, that was brought for my son from his G-Dad (wife’s dad). As we approached the customer service. The Spanish girl was already turning up her nose, while coming from the inside (target) Starbucks. Sipping on a frappé playing with her straw, nonchalantly. She already made up in her mind she wasn’t trying to help us. So first off to be clear we wanted to exchange the tv being that. It looks as if someone may have been driving a forklift and gashed the box. A clean cut we pulled the tv out the box and the back of the tv (55in) tcl had slit on the back. As we tried to exchange it. The Spanish girl asked us for a receipt. So we showed the pick up email and barcode number to show it was purchased from target. Mind you is was a gift and G-Dad sent us all the information he had sent to him. He’s almost 70 and we all have them older family members that aren’t tech savvy. So he sent us the information and the Spanish girl is telling us more of what she can’t do, then what she can do. Just no solution awareness just a body in a position. Guess these are the people target stand behind…let’s escalate this to a manager. By the way this girl is nasty and rude should I say. We escalate to a manager and a manager shows up. Well I think this older women that says she’s a manger at least, but she’s just not a manager for customer service.. hmm well I don’t know how that works. Moving on lets see if Gary the manager she escalates this too can help. Full blown convo on the walkie of more of what he can’t do, versus what he can do. So the older women started as a manager and I thought she was going to handle it, but she let the Spanish girl over talk her once again minding the business that’s out of her pay grade, over stepping. Now the older women started to agree until my wife asked who is the manager Spanish girl or older women ? Guess they don’t know there position huh? Guess not. Moving on. So they called for Gary and guess what the older lady wants to be a manager and says “Gary is going to say the same thing I said” but the Spanish girl told you what to say. So Gary came over after the full blown convo over the walkies and guess what happened next ? Follow the leader. He says the same exact thing. Says he’s not the manager of the department and everything else. Once again no solution at all. You know what else is funny is that. They were asking for G-dad card. I find that funny, so if we had someone else card looking to exchange something wouldn’t they need the id too ? Especially off a credit card ? Anyone in they right mind would of looked at that as a red flag correct? Moving on. These people aren’t even good at the jobs they do but want to call them selves mangers. HA!. Enough of the back and fourth. We took our talents to the Target in Edgewater. Walked in explained our same concerns. The regular employee knew he couldn’t handle so he escalated himself and let the higher up handle it. No over talking just doing his job. Kudos to you young man. Manager from Edgewater asked our concerns and say let me see what I can do. Took my wife’s id, got us the newer tv. Exchanged it out. Gave us the receipt and BOOM! Less the 15mins in the store. Wow look at what happens when you actually do your job. Everyone’s satisfied. So here’s a heads up when shopping here no ones knowledgeable and apparently no one knows who’s the manager. Good night peoples. I think we should push for zero no stars because nothing shines here and people need to be held accountable.
I have been shopping at this store since they opened several years ago. I was watching a YouTube video where they disclose how Target donated $1,000,000 to Donald Trumps reelection. I have always liked Target but after hearing this I also will not be shopping at any a target again.
Beware of This place when you’re doing an online order, I literally had six items that I ordered online and was missing one and they still charged me for it as if they put the item in my bag. This is disgusting and careless.
Horrible place, the staff have stone faces!!! If you’re in a bad mood, it shouldn’t affect your work. The girl at the checkout didn’t say hello or goodbye, and when I asked her for a bag, she rolled her eyes!!
My mother just went shopping tonight at this location. She is handicapped and asked the one lady who was open on the register if she can help her pack the bag of groceries. The woman yelled at her and said no!!!! She stated that after Covid, this store refuses to pick up any items and bag. Horrible!!!! Every Target has always helped my mother pack! This occurred on Thursday (October 2nd) at 6:30 pm. I tried calling the manager. However, no one picks up. We will never be returning to this store again. My mother is an elderly woman. How dare you! Shame on you!
If I could give this place a big fat zero I would. I placed an order at 6:01pm for the 8pm slot they had open for same day delivery. I have a newborn and I needed formula for my baby to eat. We are tired and exhausted. As 8:30pm came around I started to get worry since I have not heard a word yet about my order, so I started to call this Target in North Bergen. I called the main number, I called the pharmacy, electronics you name it.. no one answered. I had to call a 1-800 number only for them to tell me they had no one available to deliver our order. This is unacceptable! Everyone that works there had time to at least contact me to cancel the order, Call to tell me or to text it to me! Target in North Bergen doesn’t care about their costumers period!
Used to be one of my go to Tagets, I have 4 in my area. But in the last 4mths the N.Bergen,NJ Target store hasn't put out any new stock in the toy section. Old 2 year old peg warmers and scale model vehicles. Is this Target about to close?
Don't waste your time trying to return anything to this store because they will absolutely not accept any returns from another target store. That definitely is not target policy. And I will definitely not be returning to this store.
Impossible to get a hold of someone. Once I managed to get someone on the phone they leave me on the phone hearing all the background chatter and when they decide to finally say hello the person hangs up the call. This is unacceptable that no one can answer a simple phone call just to rectify a simple online order that the somehow managed to do a delivery order and pick up order when I placed the entire order for delivery. This is unacceptable and a bad experience. It’s ridiculous how no one can be of help to turn this experience around.
Since Target no longer supports the community they're part of with their policies and ideas about diversity, equity, and inclusion, I - and anyone I can persuade - will no longer support Target. I guess it was nice for Target to bankroll off the community and even use different aspects of diversity, equity and inclusion in advertisements for the company - until it was decided to go along with the current regime. I shopped there not because I had to, but because I wanted to; I no longer want to shop at Target.
Do not buy electronics from Target. The product description stated that it had a one-year warranty. Since one part of the headphones was not working, I wanted to exchange them. Bose informed me that they could not assist with products purchased from third parties and advised me to exchange them at Target.
I called Target customer service, and they told me to visit any Target store. I traveled two hours to the North Bergen store. An arrogant employee kept insisting that I should have paid $45 for a protection plan. I pointed out that the description stated a 1-year limited warranty. She said it was a mistake and called it ridiculous.
I asked for a manager, and they also insisted that Target never offers warranties. They repeatedly said, "We only accept Dyson," and even said, "I've worked at Target for 13 years and have never heard of something this stupid," while scolding me.
Always buy electronics directly from the manufacturer!
The target in North Bergen is amazing! I love the wide variety of products as well as the new store set up. And overall cleanliness of the store. Also I love the expeditious and friendly checkout and the fact that I can use my target app on my phone for deals and coupons. Love the inclusivity of plus sizes and the quality of their clothes which I can shop for work and specially the affordability and finding great deals.This place is safe and I recommend you stop by for a great experience.
Love this store in the morning! Its always clean and quiet. I don't know the woman cashier's name but she is always polite and helpful. She checks your Target acount for coupons and discounts. The reason I go. She is a true gem in your operation
Racist employees.. I purchased a printer at a different target location TODAY. Unfortunately the printer is the wrong printer. Tried to return it SAME DAY I PURCHASED IT WITH RECEIPT and was told I have to return it at the store I purchased it from because this specific target doesn’t return if it’s over $150 but was quick to help the Hispanic lady in front of me. Called target customer service and didn’t receive much help from them either. Was told the employee didn’t understand the return policy. Tuh!! It’s 2024 do better ugly
They don’t take returns of items over $50 if bought from other targets. A totally unique and inconvenient rule that is stated no where on the return policy established because their security is incompetent. Billion dollar corporations inconveniencing their shoppers because of loss that they have insured.
CHECK EXPIRATION DATES ON EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU PURCHASE IT HERE!! They allow food to expire and still sell it to customers. My son got sick and they gave me a $5 credit and a sorry. Just went yesterday and purchased hotdogs without checking the date again, needless to say-it’s EXPIRED. Their team needs to thoroughly check these items. I’ve never had this experience at other Targets.
If you've been to one Target, you've basically been to them all in regards to price, stock, and layout - it was no exception here. At the time I went, it wasn't busy, which is always a plus.
The employees are typical from what I saw. The hiring managers are the ones to blame really. I had no interactions thankfully, but they do their best to ignore you - the customer.
This Target reminded me of an ongoing annoyance that's in some locations I've been to - that being the annoying overaggressive sales people by the electronics trying to get you to listen to their spiel. It's like this every time - I'm polite and keep it moving, but they keep going and going......and going. They don't take the hints and sometimes they're just nasty because they're not getting their sale. They're in Target, so this is Target's responsibility even if it's just Target's partner. I find myself trying to avoid the area when I see them, but sometimes it can't be helped. If Target is going to have these people in the stores, then maybe address them in the basics of being salespeople - because they clearly do not have a clue.
Anyway, the parking lot is pretty large, so you should have no issues coming here.
This is in Jersey, but the area felt like the Bronx and looked like parts of San Francisco with the hills. It was annoying coming here, so I probably won't be coming here again.
As a tourist, I always wanted to visit a target. And it was worth it. Lots of everything: Clothing, electronics, furniture, food. Self checkout is available.
I bought much because of the low prices, but some pieces are expensive. Definitely worth a look.
Store with a friendly staff are always cleaning with a variety of new products with great prices , some products go right away and can't stay in the shelf too long, my kind of store got myself a good price for a new camera and had to enjoy every second with my new toy, missed Starbucks tho... .......Cheers !!
Mike & Alex with the appliances team were super helpful. Mike, in particular, knew exactly the freezer model I was looking for, found one from the warehouse, loaded it onto a flatbed shopping cart, and helped me load it into my vehicle. Thanks very much! Pretty cool retro game collection, too.
Huge Target store and always lacking management. Poor skilled workers and lack of customer service. When you ask a “team member” for help nobody seems to know anything or where the product may be. They rely on their phones. You can get many things in this Target store except food. There’s always empty shelves and refrigerators in the food department. Is a constant thing. When you speak to manager, they tell you “is Target, not sending us the trucks” this has been happening for years now and nothing has improved. I clearly gave up. The Starbucks is always dirty, people without handicapped plates park at handicap spots and the store will not enforce the laws by calling the police. Is been a terrible last few years going to Target and you can see the frustration with the photos attached herein.
